  • This study was conducted to redetermine the rainfall erosion factor (R factor) in USLE for the estimation of soil loss at Korea. The redetermined R factor may be applied more precisely to interpret the changes of regional/yearly/seasonal patterns, including the amount of rainfall and the kinetic energy of rainfall, in Korea. This study calculated the R factors based on 60-minute precipitation data from 60 sites covering the whole country for 30 years from 1981 to 2010. As a result, the annual mean rainfall was $4,147MJ\;mm\;ha^{-1}\;yr^{-1}\;hr^{-1}$ in Korea. Coastal regions of Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, northwest regions of Gyeonggi, and Seoul had the greater values of R factor compared to other regions. The annual mean R factors for every decade were 3,988, 4,085, and $4,370MJ\;mm\;ha^{-1}\;yr^{-1}\;hr^{-1}$ in 1981~1990, 1991~2000, and 2001~2010, respectively. Generally, the R factors had an increasing tendency over and over pest decades. The ratios of summer R factor to total annual mean R factor were 69.8% (1981~1990), 73.7% (1991~2000), and 74.2% (2001~2010). We found that the absolute values and the relative ratios of summer rainfall are gradually increased.

  • Recently, according to the being activated exhibition, it has been focused on the participants in order to enhance its interest and satisfaction. Consequently it is set up the model of research and the hypotheses based on the leading study of the physical environment of the exhibition and experience This study would like to analyze how the physical environments of the exhibition are effected on the factor of the experience and the participants' satisfaction. It also would like to check the factor of the experience to promote the participants' call and provide the useful information for the exhibitors to raise the participants' satisfaction. Being set the physical environment of the exhibition(layout accessibility, Facility aesthetics, facility cleanliness, convenience, comfort, human services) as a independent variable and fix the factor of experience (sense, feel, think, act and relate) as a parameter, the participants' satisfaction is identified. As a result of the research, the factor of experience is affected by the physical environment of the exhibition and the participants' satisfaction is affected by the factor of the experience. Therefore, the exhibitors have to consider the physical environments of the exhibition and the factor of experience for making the participants' satisfaction high when they hold the exhibitions.

  • This study examines the job satisfaction of cooks of school feeding. Sampling was taken among school feeding cooks except for those of Kangwon Province and Cheju Province. The factors affecting on the job satisfaction was investigated to find ways to raise the job satisfaction of cooks of school feeding. Four factors were extracted in all. It is found that these four factors have affected the job satisfaction of cooks of school feeding in order of working satisfaction factor(.493), co-worker communication factor(.463), job environment factor(.185), and advancement factor(.146). Accordingly, more opportunities for career advancement should be offered to raise the job satisfaction among them, and the establishment of better work environment and the optimum staff are urgently needed.

  • Due to the vast increase in the elderly population and the changes in traditional filial duties, the importance of the elderly living arrangement is being greatly emphasized. The purpose of this study was to analyse the determinant factor of intention to move into senior congregate housing. The survey was conducted among middle-aged people in their fifties, who lived in Seoul, using the systematic random sampling method. The final sample included 498 respondents. The results were as follows. 1) It was revealed that many respondents thought positively about senior congregate housing. Both of having children and income were proved as an important variables which had an impact factor to move into senior congregate housing. 2) It was found that residential environment was the more important factor than housing level itself or personal social environment.

  • The purpose of this study is to create an approach to architectural planning centered on an Biotop-space Factor, with the purpose of applying environmentally friendly architecture to school buildings. For this, the notion of ecological schools is defined, and possible use of the planning standard is studied as a means by which ecological school planning can be carried out. As a result, ecological schools can be viewed as (1) the field of education, (2) the field of logical community and (3) a stronghold of the ecological environment. And The possible creation of a quantified goal and level at Ecological school planning is also reviewed with the Biotop-space Factor.

  • Environmental problems caused by rapid industrialization and environmental issues have emerged worldwide. The Green Building Certification Policy has been introduced. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the environment-friendly planning factors in Environment-friendly Housing Certification. Six multi-family housing in Environment-friendly Housing Certification have been analyzed. The findings of this study are as follows. While outdoor planning factor is focused on building arrangement and ecological environment, its application in building material and environment plan is inadequate. In ecological environment, various green planting systems such as green zone and plant inhabitation area are utilized.

  • In 21 century, the ubiquitous environment is advanced fast through the so-called digital convergence. This research experts what is the next generation of traditional fashion product purchase behaviors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the fashion product purchase decision making in the development stages of ubiquitous environment. The quantitative Investigation was executed for 487 collegians and the data were analyzed with Frequency, percentage, ANOVA, Duncan test and multiple regression by using SPSS win version 10 package. The results of this research were as followed: First, in the 1st stages of ubiquitous developmental environment, using internet pc or mobile phone was analyze the difference between fashion shopping orientation group and purchase restricted factor Second, as a result of the factor analysis of the ubiquitous 2nd stages, four lower dimensions were made: giving information; wearable effect, buying facility; interest from purchase. as a result of ANOVA, there were any differences between fashion shopping orientation group and ubiquitous 2nd stages. Third, in the 3rd stages of ubiquitous developmental environment, there are differences between fashion shopping orientation group and ubiquitous 3rd stages. And the result from regression analysis of the ubiquitous 2nd stages and 3rd stages showed that buying facility factor in increasing need recognition, wearable effect factor in fashion information acquisition, giving information factor in have a intention to buy in ubiquitous #3 rendition are most influential.

  • In this study, field measurement was carried out for reasonable improvement of asphalt concrete manufacturing facilities' PM emissions estimation method. Through those, this study calculated PM emission factor and tried to estimate PM emissions from asphalt concrete manufacturing facilities suitable for domestic characteristics. As a result, the efficiency of the PM control device was measured as 99.9%. Using this, uncontrolled PM emission factor was calculated. PM emission factor was calculated 10.97 kg/ton at 23 asphalt concrete manufacturing facilities of 22 workplaces. The PM current emission factor of the US Environment Protection Agency (EPA) is 14.4 kg/ton, the factor calculated from this study is about 24% lower than the EPA standard.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the nurses' recognition extent of nursing power and related factors. It was performed in a private university hospital using questionaire papers from Jul. 11 to Jul. 20, 1993. The collected data were in number of 209, and they were handled and analyzed by computer program (SPSS). Through above process, we got meaningful results as follow. 1. The factor concerned with whether the nursing department show its independent power or not was 4.1 on an average. Consequently above results showed that the independent power roles as a important factor. The factor concerned with study and research was 3.9 on an average. So that the extension of learning was also a comparatively important nursing power. But ensuring good material environment was merely 1.6 on an average. So it was understood as less important nursing power. 2. Between the factor concerned with enforcement of independence of nursing department and the factor concerned with extension of learning, there was positive correlation of 0.32 Pearson's Correlation Coefficent. It can be interpreted as the effort of extension of learning go side by side with the showing of independent power of nursing department. As a result the power of nursing become strong. And between the factor concerned with enforcenment of independence of nursing department and the ensuring o(good material environment, there was negative correlation of -0.28 Pearson's Correaltion Coefficint. It can be interpreted as the stronger the independent power of nursing, the more overlooked the recognized of material environment of nurses.
