The population enumeration data from the decennial U.S. census are used in the apportionment of the U.S. House of Representatives and federal revenue sharing. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the various issues about the U.S. Census 2000. More specifically, this paper analyzes the sociopolitical implications of the racial and ethnic variations in net undercount rate in the census. In addition, we investigate the politics of race and ethnicity centering the census questions on race and use of sampling for adjustment of the enumeration data.

The sum of reciprocals of primes with gap 4 between consecutive primes is computed B$_4$(5 ${\times}$ 10$\^$10/) = 1.1970s4473029 and B$_4$ = 1.197054 ${\pm}$ 7 ${\times}$ 10$\^$-6/. And Enumeration of the primes with difference 6 between consecutive primes, is counted up to 5${\times}$10$\^$10/, yielding the counting function $\pi$$\_$2.6/(5${\times}$10$\^$10/) = 215868063. The sum of reciprocals of primes with gap 6 between consecutive primes is computed B$\_$6/(5${\times}$10$\^$10/) = 0.93087506039231 and B$\_$6/ = 1.135835 ${\pm}$ 1.2${\times}$10$\^$-6/.

The enumeration of various classes of paths in the real plane has an important implications in the area of combinatorics wit statistical applications. In 1887, D. Andre [3, pp. 21] first solved the famous ballot problem, formulated by Berttand [2], by using the well-known reflection principle which contributed tremendously to resolve the problems of enumeration of various classes of lattice paths in the plane. First, it is necessary to state the definition of NSEW-paths in the palne which will be employed throughout the paper. From [3, 10, 11], we can find results concerning many of the basics discussed in section 1 and 2.

최근 HTML5, AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript XML) 등으로 구현된 웹 애플리케이션이 널리 이용됨에 따라 웹 애플리케이션에 존재하는 취약점을 악용하는 공격 사례가 증가하고 있다. 웹 애플리케이션의 안전한 개발과 유지보수를 위해, 설계/구현 단계에서의 취약점 완화를 통한 예방, 그리고 운영 단계에서의 공격 탐지 및 대응이 필요하다. 더불어, 위험한 취약점들 및 공격 패턴들을 분석하고 우선순위를 부여하여, 웹 애플리케이션 개발 단계 및 운영 단계에서 심각한 취약점과 공격들을 우선 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 OWASP Top 10과 CWE(Common Weakness Enumeration)를 연동시켜 CAPEC(Common Attack Pattern Enumeration and Classification)에서 웹 관련 주요 공격 패턴을 선별하고 순위화하였다. CWE는 취약점 예방에 도움을 주며, 순위화된 공격 패턴은 웹 애플리케이션에서 주요 공격들을 효율적으로 방어할 수 있게 하여 준다.

The anaerobic digester with sludge from sewage treatment plant was operated in the laboratory for two year to investigate the enumeration and activity of methanogenic microorganisms. In this experimental study, the effects of HRT on the degradation characteristics of organic materials and on the number of methanogenic bacteria produced were investigated. By making the media with the repeated wxperiment, the number and activity of methanogenic bacteria were measured. The increase of the removal rate of organic acid in the digester was oberved at HRT of 2 days. The total number of methane forming bacteria estimated by the MPN method showed 2.3 $\times$ $ at HRT of 3 days, 7$\times$$ of 5 days and 7.9$\times$$ $/ml of 10 days. The optimum incubation time for measuring the number of methanogenic bacteria was found as more than four weeks. The PMA revealed 161ml CH$/l day at HRT of 10 days and the PUA 290mg COD/l day. At the incubation time 4.3 days, the maximum value of CH$ *59.1%) was found. At this time, $ was found as 15.3% and $ 25.6%.

Selective media for isolation and enumeration of lactic acid bacteria from kimchi were compared using 36 strains of lactic acid bacteria from kimchi and dairy products. Among the selective media, KF Streptococcus agar showed the best result for the selection of Enterococcus group and Pediococus group, and M-17 agar with pH indicator for Lactococcus group, the m-LBS agar for Lactobacillus group, and PES-3 agar for Leuconostoc group.

This paper summarizes available literature on the optimization of reinforced concrete (RC) beams. The objective of optimization (e.g. minimum cost or weight), the design variables and the constraints considered by different studies vary widely and therefore, different optimization methods have been employed to provide the optimal design of RC beams, whether as isolated structural components or as part of a structural frame. The review of literature suggests that nonlinear deterministic approaches can be efficiently employed to provide optimal design of RC beams, given the small number of variables. This paper also presents spreadsheet implementation of cost optimization of RC beams in the familiar MS Excel environment to illustrate the efficiency of the exhaustive enumeration method for such small discrete search spaces and to promote its use by engineers and researchers. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis is performed on the contribution of various design parameters to the variability of the overall cost of RC beams.

In an earlier paper ('Scheduling Jobs on a Number of Identical Machines' by Elmaghraby and Park, March 1974, AIIE Transactions) a branch-and-bound algorithm was developed for the sequencing problem when all jobs are available to process at time zero and are independet (i.e., there are not a priori precedence relationships among jobs.). However, the amount of computation required by the algorithm was not considered to be short if more than 50 jobs were processed. As an effort to improve the algorithm, the present paper modifies the implicit enumeration procedure in the algorithm so that moderately large problems can be treated with what appears to be a short computational time. Mainly this paper is concerned with improving the lower bound in the implicit enumeration procedure. The computational experiences with this new branch-and-bound algorithm are given.

In examining bacterial growth on glass surfaces immersed in sea water, we found serious differences between enumeration methods. Therefore, we compared various methods and found sonication and direct count methods were superior to other methods. Since the direct count method was not suitable for long-term investigation, we chose the sonication method and confirmed that sonication periods 8 times for 30 seconds was optimal for the detachment of bacteria from glass surfaces.
