As a result of reenforcement of livestock industry licensing and livestock related vehicle registration system, pig farm are mandatory for setting stop bar before pig farm entrance and maintaining the records of inlet and outlet to and from pig farm. Also, the first step to the pig farm biosecurity is the control of entrance human, vehicles, animals and the related records including entrance and sterilization. In this study, the pig farm entrance control system using RFID technology and web-server system was developed. For human entrance, contact type RFID reading system(13.56MHz) was developed. And the 900MHz RFID system was used to detect vehicle entrance. The test result shows that system actuating, recognition, saving records to the web server was successful. Then, the full system of human entrance recording unit, vehicle entrance recording unit, entrance control system, human sterilizing booth containing a tablet for inputting visitor's record and sterilization record was tested. The records were wrote to web server DB through the data management web-program. Performance test shows the entrance control and data management in server was successfully operated.

The purpose of this study is to explore university entrance system with particular regard to the interview system of some leading universities. In order to accomplish this end, I sketched university entrance system as a whole, applying procedures and entrance requirements, selecting criteria, and explore interview systems of leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and Imperial College. The university entrance system in the UK is closely related to the educational achievements at secondary schools and sixth form colleges. Admissions tutors look at applicant's academic ability and potential through various entrance requirements. Leading universities such as Oxbridge stress performance at interview with excellent examination grades, due to competition for places is strong. Admissions tutors are looking for the students who are best suited to the unique university education in general and the course applied for. The university entrance system in the UK would be shed light on Korea university entrance system in terms of basic principles and interviews as a whole and of addressing the academic ability and potential to flourish at the university.

In this paper, we investigate the effect of re-entrance to the same work station in a job shop with multiple identical machines. System A is defined as the system in which re-entrance is not permitted, and system B is defined as the system in which re-entrance is permitted. By the analytical result of the queueing network, we find that the two systems have the same queue length distributions and utilizations under FIFO dispatching rule when all parameters are same. Simulation models are developed for various comparisons between the two systems, and simulation experiments are conducted for the combinations of five dispatching rules, two average workloads and two due date allowances. Five performance measures are selected for the comparison. The simulation results show that permitting re-entrance affects for some combinations of system environments.

This paper introduces development of a Military Entrance Control System using the developed military insignia UHF RFID tags. Generally, in the military entrance control system, the security identification (ID) card with HF RFID tag can be used, to increase the security level, the developed insignia UHF RFID tags are used in the enforced military entrance control system. The general metal insignias, have been worn on a hat or on the shoulder pads of a military uniforms, are simulated and developed as UHF RFID insignia tags. The military entrance control system can manage the name, rank, address (information of military personnel), time and date of entrance and the history of entrance of the security area.

Purpose: This study aims to understand the influence of college entrance system-related factors and scores of college scholastic ability test on a first year nursing student's academic achievement. Method: Data collected include both a descriptive survey designed to assess college entrance system-related factors with respect to 182 nursing students attending a 4-year nursing college program and their test scores in the first year. The data were analyzed via descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test with Bonferroni's correction, and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient through an SPSS 18.0 program. Results: Student academic achievement with regard to college entrance system-related factors exhibited significant divergence from first year grade point averages (hereafter GPA) and natural science grades. Conclusion: This study confirmed the existence of significant differences, depending on the factors regarding the college entrance system. As a result, conducting assessment to evaluate the level of basic knowledge before college entrance is highly recommended. Also recommended is the development of a support program for students projected to have difficulties with respect to their academic achievement.

This paper deals with enhancement of the high school equalization assignment system to be executed by the allied entrance examination after the applicants graduated from their middle schools. In prevailing opinion, because educational demander's will has not been considered under the current system, it whose merits have been covered is required to be improved. If the application system of the entrance examination for the high schools will be returned, a situation that it will result in irregularity of the middle school education and in overheating entrance examination seems to appear explicitly. Since the averages of the allied entrance examination score of all the high schools, achieved by the equalization-application nearest assignment system which is named by writers of this paper, are equal, our system is good for maintaining the merits of the current system. More than 50% educational demander's will has been reflected by our system, so that we come to the conclusion that our system is excellent in all the systems verified up to now. Assigning students to the high school to make an average difference between three and five score, we expect that relection rate of the educational demander's will be increased more than 60%.

Reduction of noise level in the cabin of urban transit unit is an important issue to enhance the comfortability of passengers. It is made clear that a cause of increased noise level in cabin is the imperfect airtightness of entrance doors. In this study, the sliding-plug door system is developed to reduce the noise level of cabins by securing the airtightness of entrance door. The sliding-plug door system is composed of air-driven engine, swing arms, guide rails, guide rollers and locking devices. It is economical owing to using the previous door engine system. It is also adequate for the platform system of our subway station. It was tested to prove the reliability of system and was applied to standard urban transit unit. The effectiveness of noise reduction in cabin resulting form the sliding-plug door system was confirmed by test results.

A standardized scoring system for college interview entrance examination means we standardize the score of examination to adjust the degree of difficulty among questions and difference of panel's disposition. A standardized scoring system were newly enforced at college interview entrance examination from 2001. Colleges want to choose the most suitably qualified students, taking full advantage of interview examination. Also they should always prepare for questions, plan the answers and a standardized scoring system so that all candidates get a fair shake. The main purpose of this paper is to provide a standardized scoring system for interview examination. The results of interview examination are ranked from highest to lowest and each candidate have different rank from several panels. So some unit scores from panels are given for each candidate using standard normal distribution. Then we calculate the mean unit score for each candidate and final interview entrance examination scores are given using the mean unit score for each candidate.

Organizing entrance evaluation system for selecting students who can become expert in data science field according to need of the age and social demand is important. This study was conducted for the purpose of analyzing data science field graduate school entrance evaluation system and deriving implications after taking into account the importance of talents possessing convergence competency. For this aim, a total of 22 graduate schools in 7 countries have been selected targeting data scientist postgraduate program around the world. The selected graduate schools have been analyzed based on qualifications, necessary skills prior to entrance, entrance conditions, and selection methods. As a result of the analysis, 'graduate school which I can apply for regardless of possessing undergraduate degree or undergraduate major (63.6 percent)' in qualifications category, 'graduate school which mentioned skills required in completing master's degree prior to entrance (63.6 percent)' in skills required prior to entrance category, 'graduate school which does not mention separate entrance condition (81.8 percent)' in entrance conditions category, and 'graduate school selecting students merely based on document screening (68.2 percent)' in selection methods category took the highest portion. Based on the above, this study summarized the results of the data scientist process and suggested implications for objectifying admission evaluation.
