As Electronic Commerce is getting larger, the volume of Internet-based commerce by enterprise is also getting larger. This phenomenon applies to Internet EDI, Global Internet Business, and CALS information services. In this paper, a new type of cryptographic key recovery mechanism satisfying requirements of business environment is proposed. It is also applied to enterprise information infrastructure for managing employees' task related to handling official properties of electronic enterprise documents exchange. This technology needs to be complied to information management policy of a certain enterprise environment because behavior of cryptographic key recovery can cause interruption of the employees' privacy. However, the cryptographic key recovery mechanism is able to applied to any kind of information service, the application areas of key recovery technology must be seriously considered as not disturbing user's privacy It will depend on the policy of enterprise information management of a specific company.

The utilization of the Mobile Government system is having more than a few challenges including complexity of different mobile technologies, determining interoperability among existing systems and infrastructures, and establishing services with secured networks. To get over those challenges, integrated standard, innovative and comprehensive system architecture is required by the M-Government. Hence this study proposed reference EA framework for M-Government system in order to avoid unnecessary duplication of infrastructure deployment and integrate services among different government instructions. The study based on literature review, and current infrastructure and mobile network situation for delivering Government services of Mongolia. The study recommends innovative m-Government system framework used EA, and scope covered mobile service delivery area centered on G4C and C2G perspectives. The Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework has used in this research, and the proposed system service architecture defines the interoperable standards, infrastructure components, applications, and technologies for government institutions in Mongolia to aid interactions necessity among them to provide m-Service.

This paper proposes a model for assessing enterprise network maturity. We define maturity in terms of the institutional and member support for the network(organizational maturity) and its technical sophistication(technological maturity), and examine their relationships. We build several hypotheses about the relationships between the maturity types and between the maturity of the network and various organizational factors including industry, size, and performance of the enterprise. We test the hypotheses using data collected from a questionnaire survey with Korean firms. The results show that there is a positive correlation between organizational and technological maturity. It is also found that investment in the network infrastructure has a positive influence on the organizational efficiency. However, it is found that industry type does not affect network utilization, but size does, suggesting that large firms utilize network infrastructure more than small ones do. We also identify various relationships among performance, satisfaction level and the maturity of the enterprise networks. Finally, we provide an overview on the current technological state of the Korean enterprise networks.

Enterprise Architecture and its management focuses on the integration of business processes and IT infrastructure, and have received considerable attention from the academic and the practice audience. Despite this attention, some lacuna can be observed that questions some of the fundamental pillars of the domain. The current business environment demands in the response to digitalization add to further challenges which call for the need to reconceptualise enterprise architecture to be relevant to the emerging context. We respond to this call by presenting a comprehensive review of the literature concerning enterprise architecture and management to facilitate future work. Our review revealed various facets related to enterprise architecture and enterprise architecture management which we present and discuss here. Further, we also chart out possible areas of future explorations. By doing so, this research lays a foundation for continuing inquiry on enterprise architecture and management, contributing to new knowledge for the field.

The current status of information management and information strategy of an enterprise may determine the future capability of the firm, thus the competitiveness in the market. Especially, in case of SME(small and medium enterprise), the level of information management and strategy gives the company readiness in the ever changing business environment. In this study, we investigate the information infrastructure of SMEs operating in Incheon Metropolitan areas whether they can meet the challenge in terms of network, software, IT education, IT finance, etc. We came up some suggestions which might be good alternatives and choices for IT decision makers in local and central government.

The telecommunications-based information technology and the provision of electronic commerce are broadening possibility of the virtual enterprise. The purpose of this paper is to enhance academic and practical understanding virtual enterprise as one of the most promising new concepts in electronic commerce area. I strive to establish the concept of virtual enterprise as a strategic source of competitive advantage in small & medium business. I analyze several new trends and concepts in strategic business area which will eventually lead small & medium business to the virtual enterprise. It has great potential benefits for small & medium businesses which are placed in difficult circumstances. They must build IT infrastructure and make use of co-sourcing for the utilization of virtual enterprise. This paper also suggests the strategic methods which enable the conventional enterprise to introduce the virtual enterprise.

With the paradigm shifting from the principal of manufacturing efficiency to business globalization and rapid adaptation to its environments, more and more enterprises are being virtually organized as manufacturing network of different units in web. The formation of these enterprise called as Virtual Enterprise(VE) is becoming a growing trend as enterprises concentrating on core competence and economic benefit. This paper proposes the cooperation methodology for VEs which can be organized by the selection of manufacturing partners, and managed by the information flow infrastructure.

Despite the large and ongoing investments in information systems and technologies, many organizations still suffer from the lack of integration and interoperability of multiple information systems, In order to deal with these enduring problems, a number of government organizations and corporate firms in the United States have developed and maintained IT architectures through enterprise architecture planning. An IT architecture is a decision-making framework for IT planners and developers, establishing guidelines for the individual IT resource owners and users. It provides guidance to those involved in building and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure. Enterprise architecture planning represents a new paradigm of information systems planning in that it addresses the long-term view of the enterprise organization from top-level principles to detailed technology architectures. This paper explores a couple of cases in the successful implementation of IT architectures in both public and private sectors, and proposes a step-by-step methodology for building an effective IT architecture.

This paper is to develop an information infrastructure to support managing process in design, planning, production, and quality control. Multi-media data set of design, product, and management information flow between organizational units of a virtual enterprise. The process is the logical organization of people, technology and practices incorporated into work activities to make an end product. The core of the infrastructure is the enterprise framework which coordinates activities and controls the process. The proposed framework manages collaborative activities across space and time, and between users and computers who share information in virtual community. It utilizes knowledge distributed through virtual community and fosters cooperation between organizations. The framework provides the following facilities； coordinating activities, sharing data and processes, visualizing multi-media data, customizing and updating processes, reusing data and processes. This paper covers design and manufacturing activities but our focus is initially targeted at design area.
