Recently domestic manufacturing companies have been experiencing worsening profitability and stunted growth due to the long-term economic recession and the rapid rise of developing countries such as China and Southeast Asia. These difficulties force many companies to concentrate their core competencies on new value creation and innovation in order to gain momentum for new growth. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has been considered as one of viable solutions. Among the various modules in ERP, shop floor control function in the production management module is rather limited. In order to overcome this problem, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) has been used as a subsystem which has a strong information gathering power and flexibility. Both systems interact closely with each other. In particular, ERP requires fast, accurate shop floor information at MES. This paper describes how to synchronize relevant information between ERP and MES with theory of constraints (TOC). The processing time information transmitted from the MES workplace is received at the ERP workplace. In the process, the received processing time is causing information distortion in ERP, when the information gathering standard of MES is different from the ERP information interpretation standard. The Drum-Buffer-Rope theory of TOC was applied to resolve this problem, therefore, information synchronization between both systems was made. As a precondition, the standard time of the upper ERP system was rearranged according to the capacity constraints resource. As a result, standard time restructuring has affected changes in labor costs. Standard labor costs have come close to actual ones, and information synchronization of MES transmission data has improved the reliability of standard product costs, such that it enabled various company-wide restructuring actions to be much more effective.

The presented scientific research substantiates the principles of the mechanism of the investment resources involvement in order to introduce innovations at enterprises in the context of digitalization using a resource-functional approach. The importance of attracting investment resources, which contributes to the modernization of production systems, the creation of a stable economic field of development of economic entities, is justified. The expediency of application of the resource-functional approach on research of the mechanism of attraction of investment resources for introduction of innovations at the enterprises in the conditions of digitalization is proved. The investment process is presented in the form of a chain of interdependent processes which include: attraction of investment resources, investments, increase of investment value, profit. It is proved that the mechanism of attracting investment resources for the introduction of innovations in enterprises in the context of digitalization cannot be considered in isolation from the process, due to the fact that the mechanism is aimed at performing specific functions. The functions of the mechanism include management, complex, coordination, monitoring, performance and control functions. Functions of the mechanism of attraction of investment resources for introduction of innovations at the enterprises in the conditions of digitalization are caused by the purposes of attraction of investment resources for innovative development; the presence of an objective nature; relative independence and homogeneity; implementation of functions in the process of investing in innovative activities of the enterprise.

The whole of industry sectors are getting achieved BPR(Business process Reencountering) which innovate the inefficient product organization through examined the value chain. Besides, they try to integrate ERP, CRM, and SCM which is based on value chain. Construction Industry, however, not only is not regularized it but is not inadequacy about information mind. Nowadays Korean government lead the construction CALS, only some large company Innovate and restructure the organization and product structure. It Is necessary to efficient manage the project information and historical data and develop CIC/PMIS to transfer from the function based information-flow to the project based information-flow. The purpose of the Information management system's success In Korea, therefore, this paper analyzes the information-intensive problems and proves the device to achieve the Information Management System through the Standardization, Synchronization, Centralization for Construction Company.
This study verified how R&D investment affects the management performance of SMEs, whether technology innovation mediates this relationship, and whether marketing competency moderates the relationship between technology innovation and management performance. A longitudinal analysis was conducted using data from the corporate panel survey performed by Daegu Technopark every year since 2013. Data from 349 companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region were mainly used, and the size of 30 to 50 employees in the manufacturing industry was a major analysis target company. The results are as below. First, The results showed that R&D investment had a positive effect on management as well as technology innovation, but technology innovation did not affect management performance. Also, technological innovation did not mediate the relationship between R&D investment and management performance. This shows that in the case of small SMEs, even if technological innovation occurs through R&D investment, the technological innovation does not lead to management performance. Also, the relationship between technological innovation and management performance was not changed by marketing capabilities. This shows that technological innovation in small SMEs is not easy to lead to business performance.
The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the effect of the information quality of standard menu system of ERP on the user’s satisfaction 2) to analyze the effect of the information quality of standard menu system of ERP on the user’s performance. The questionnaires were distributed to 260 end users(dietitians, foodservice management managers) in charge of managing the institutional foodservice such as the office(government agencies, factories), schools(universities, middle and high school) and hospitals which were managed by contract foodservice management company “C” in Seoul and Kyunggi. The surveys were performed from July 26 to July 30, 2004. Two hundred and fifty questionnaires were responded(response rate : 96.2%). The statistical analysis was conducted by using SPSS Win(11.5). And the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, pearson correlation and simple regression analysis were performed. The results showed that the information quality of standard menu system of ERP have a significant positive effect on the user’s satisfaction(p<0.001) and user’s performance(p<0.001). When constructing standard menu system on ERP in the contract foodservice management company, the information quality of standard menu system of ERP should be guaranteed in order to satisfy the end-user and to improve the user’s performance.

As the product lifecycle is getting shorter and various models should be released to respond to the needs of customers and markets, automation-based flexible production line has been recognized as the core competitiveness. According to these trends, system vendors supply cell-level systems such as FMC(Flexible Manufacturing Cell) that is integration of core functions of FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) and RMC(Reconfigurable Manufacturing Cell) that can easily extend components of FMC. In the cell-based environment, flexible management for shop floor composed of existing job shop, FMCs and RMCs from various system vendors has emerged as an important issue. However, there could be some problems on integrated operation between heterogeneous cells to use vendor-specific cell controllers and on seamless information flow with high level systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning). In this context, this paper proposes process management systems supporting integrated shop operation of heterogeneous multi-cell based flexible manufacturing environment: First of all, (1) Integrated Shop Operation System to apply the process management system is introduced, and (2) Multi-Layer BOP(Bill-Of-Process) model, a backbone of the process management system, is derived with its data structure. Finally, application of the proposed model is illustrated through system implementation results.

Recently implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with packaged business software is growing rapidly. The purpose of this article is to provide further insights into the business process change and change management in implementation process of ERP systems. This paper examine an survey of some 146 firms' adoption and implementation of packaged ERP software. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach of business process change and change management of the implementation process. This research highlights the importance of change management for implementing ERP. In addition, we empirically reveals that the eventual success of ERP systems depends on effective business process change and change management during the ERP implementation.
We propose a mobile point-of-sale system, which consists of only mobile information terminals and personal computers. The proposed system provides most of functionalities related with resource planning, adminstration and management, provided by medium-scale or large-scale POS systems, with additional functionalities, such as automatic information gathering and management through mobile interconnection, while eliminating the necessity of additional special-purpose devices, such as bar-code systems. The proposed system transmits order information through wireless and wired communication lines, thus allowing real-time sharing of order information among diverse information devices, such as mobile order receiving terminals, main server within stores, monitors and printers located in production lines. Also, the system is able to transfer such detail information produced within stores in real-time to the enterprise-level accounting, sales, logistics, personnel management system, which facilitate enterprise-wide management and administrative decision-making. No additional programs are required for mobile terminals. Order information received by such terminals are entered into databases through web server of main server and that information is again transferred to main server and production line printers. The proposed system can handle all the point-of-sale information and can provide almost of the POS functionalities by simply utilizing wireless internet, personal computers, and mobile terminals without installing specific-purpose peripheral devices. The proposed system can be widely applied to the small-scale stores and will contribute in reducing construction and maintenance cost required for point-of-sale management.
According to the development of new Information Technologies, firms consistently invest a significant amount of money in IT activities, such as establishing internal and external information systems. However, several anti-Information activities-such as hacking, leakage of information and system destruction-are also rapidly increasing, thus many firms are exposed to direct and indirect threats. Therefore, firms try to establish information security systems and manage these systems more effectively via an enterprise perspective. However, stakeholders or some managers have negative opinions about information security systems. Therefore, in this research, we study the relationship between multibusiness firms' performance and information security systems. Information security indicates physical and logical correspondence of information system department against threats and disaster. Studies on information security systems suggested frameworks such as IT Governance Cube and COBIT Framework to identify information security systems. Thus, this study define that information security systems is a controlled system on enterprise IT process and resource on IT Governance perspective rather than independent domain of IT. Thus, Information Security Systems should be understood as a subordinate concept of IT and business processes. In addition, this study incorporates information capability to information security system literature to show the positive relationship between Information Security Systems and Corporate Performance. The concept of information capability suggested that an interaction of human, information, technical and an effect on corporate performance using three types of capability (IT Practice, Information Management Practice, Information Behaviors and Values). Information capability is about firms' capability to manage IT infrastructure and information as well as individual employees who use IT infrastructure and information. Thus, this study uses information capability as a mediating variable for the relationship between information security systems and firms' performance. To investigate the relationship between Information Security Systems and multibusiness firms' performance, this study extends the IT relatedness concept into Information Security Systems. IT relatedness provides understanding of how corporations cope with conflicts between headquarters and business units to create a synergy effect and achieve high performance using IT resources. Based on the previous literature, this study develops the IT Security Relatedness model. IT Security Relatedness is our main independent variable, while Information Capability and Information Security Performance are mediating variables. To control for the common method bias, we collect each multibusiness firm's financial performance and use it as our dependent variable. We find that Information Security Systems influence Information Capability and Information Security Performance positively, and these two variables consequently influence Corporate Performance positively. In addition, this result indirectly shows that corporations under a multibusiness environment can obtain synergy effects using the integrated Information Security Systems. This positive impact of Information Security Systems on multibusiness firms' performance has an important implication to various stakeholders. Therefore, multibusiness firms need to establish Information Security Systems to achieve better financial performance.
The purpose of the research is to suggest the method to maximize management achievement of the sheltered workshops with analyzing the factors of organizational competencies which affect the business performance. The study was proceeded after suggesting the research model based on discussion on the business performance of Malcolm Baldrige (1987) model which assessed as the most optimized one for evaluation of the business performance of enterprise. First, the organizational competence of the sheltered workshop impact on commercial performance and noncommercial performance meaningfully. The commercial performance affects marketing competence, administrative competence, financial competence in order of mention, and noncommercial performance affects workshop cultural competence, financial competence, leader competence, human resources competence in order of mention. Second, the organizational competence of the sheltered workshop affects comprehensive business performance including commercial and noncommercial, in order of marketing competence, workshop cultural competence, financial competence, and human resource competence.
