런던지역 한인 이주민의 정착경로 및 주거입지 특성 (Characteristics of the Immigration Path and Residential Location of Korean Immigrants in London Metropolitan Area)

  • 본 연구는 런던지역의 한인 이주민을 대상으로 정착경로, 주거입지 및 주택소유 구조의 특성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째로, 한인 이주민의 최초 주거입지 결정요인으로는 최초 이주시의 이주 상태, 이주지역 그리고 현지인 도움 여부인 것으로 나타난다. 둘째로, 이주민의 현재 주거입지 결정요인으로는 소득수준, 영어 구사능력, 영국 교육 경험, 최초 거주지인 것으로 나타난다. 셋째로, 이주민의 주택 소유구조 특성을 보면, 이주민들은 이주기간이 10년을 지나고, 소득수준이 5만 파운드를 넘어서면서 자가주택에 거주하는 경향을 보인다. 넷째로, 이를 토대로 이주민들의 정착경로를 유형화하면, 이주초기부터 한인타운에 정착하는 민족공동체 지향 유형과 이주 초기부터 백인 주류층 거주지에 정착하는 백인주류층 지향 유형이 대표적이다. 따라서 런던지역 한인타운은 현재는 규모나 역할이 제한적이지만, 한인사회의 역량이 커짐에 따라 발전 가능성도 충분하다고 판단된다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 디지털문화에 잠재한 폐해들 중 하나인 지각의 자동화에 대한 대응전략으로서 지각의 자동화 현상에 대한 시의 지각의 낯설게 하기 효과, 시의 치료적 기능과 시적 장치로서 은유 등을 포함한 시의 효용성을 고찰하는 것이다. 따라서 이 연구는 디지털 문화의 속성과 그 폐해, 특히 디지털문화의 부정적인 영향인 지각의 자동화현상의 원인과 결과를 분석하고 시는 이에 대한 해결책으로서 유용한 도구가 될 수 있는지를 분석하였다. 디지털시대의 급격한 기술혁신의 결과 우리는 다양한 경험과 많은 기회를 얻게 되고 장밋빛 미래를 전망한다. 그러나 우리는 인공지능과 디지털기기에 대한 무의식적이고 습관적인 의존으로 지각의 자동화의 위험에 빠질 수 있다. 시는 사물들을 낯설게 하며 형식을 까다롭게 하여 지각의 자동화를 막고 상상력, 문학능력과 창의성을 증진시킨다. 또한 시의 치료적 기능은 새로운 경험을 하며 공감능력을 키우게 하고 때로는 상처 받은 마음에 위안과 평화를 주어 정신건강을 회복하게 한다. 전통적인 시뿐만 아니라 디지털 융합기술로 탄생한 하이퍼텍스트시 등을 포함한 다양한 형태의 다지털시에 대해 앞으로 체계적이고 심도 있는 분석과 연구가 필요하다.

트레드밀운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 걷기기능향상에 관한 문헌연구 (Effects of Treadmill Training on Gait of Stroke Patients : A Systematic Review)

  • Background : Treadmill training has been proposed as a useful adjunct to conventional physical therapy to restore ability to walk after stroke. The purpose of this study to inform clinical practise by evaluating the research evidence for the effectiveness of treadmill training after stroke. Methods : We searched to the effectiveness of any form of intervention for effect of treadmill training by Dankook University electronic library databases of Medline, Embase, Cinahl, Amed and PEDro combined with a hand search of papers published in relevant peer-reviewed journals. Any type of study relevant to the topic published in English during time period from 1980 to 2007 was included. Results : The literature search identified 35 studies. The included studies enrolled a total of 374 subjects. 1. Treadmill retraining without partial body weight support might be more effective than no treatment at improving gait velocity, get up and go time, gait endurance and step length symmetry. 2. Treadmill retraining with partial body weight support might be more effective than no treatment in improving step length symmetry, gait velocity, gait endurance and balance. 3. Treadmill retraining might be more effective with partial body weight support than without it at improving gait velocity and motor improvement as measured by The Stroke Rehabilitation Assessment of Movement(STREAM). 4. Treadmill retraining without partial body weight support may be no different from physiotherapy and increase gait velocity to conventional gait therapy. 5. Treadmill retraining with partial body weight support may be no different from physiotherapy for gait velocity, motor recovery and balance. Conclusion The review suggests that although treadmill training of gait, especially with partial body weight support, might Improve gait parameters and functional mobility, unless treadmill training is directed at Improving gait speed it might be no more effective than conventional physical therapy at improving gait parameters.

기술직에서 이공계학위와 인적자원요소의 가치평가 : 미국사례 (Science & Engineering Degrees and Human Resource Element Value Estimation in Technology Jobs : the US Case)

  • In the international businesses human resource elements acquired in different countries might have different values in varied industries due to the different quality of education and experiences in the original countries. Using selection models to evaluate expected values in earnings equation of human resource elements such as education and experiences etc. acquired in sending countries, system equations are expanded to examine also the values of science and engineering degrees in technology jobs with selectivity bias correction. This paper used the US census survey data of 2015 on earnings, academic degrees, occupations etc. The US has long maintained the policy of accepting more STEM workers than any other countries and helped maintaining own technological leadership. Assuming per capita GDP gap between the sending country and the US downgrades immigrant human resource quality, it rarely affects occupational selection but depresses earnings on average by two or more years' worth of education. Immigrant quality index in the sense of GDP gap appears to be a valid tool to assess the expected earnings of the worker with. Engineering degrees increase significantly the probability of selecting not only engineering jobs but also general management jobs, as well as increasing the expected earning additionally over nine years'worth of education. Getting a technology job is additionally worth about four years of education. Economics and business degrees are worth additionally almost six years of education but humanities degrees depress expected earnings. Since years after immigration does not very fast enhance earnings capacity, education level and English language ability might be more useful criteria to expect better future earnings by.

의류수출업체의 3D 디자이너 직무에 대한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on 3D Designer Jobs in Fashion Vendors)

  • This study attempted to extract and structure the job skills required for 3D designers, which have been recently introduced to the fashion industry. The study aimed to materialize and objectify the 3D designer's job, using a focus group interview for the survey. The 3D designer has the TD task of making 3D virtual samples using the pattern files developed in Pattern CAD. Graphic design and fabric digitization are also major tasks for the 3D designer. CLO is mainly used for 3D virtual sample production, and PixPlant, Substance, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Daz studio, and 3ds MAX are used for image and avatar editing. As per the job skills required for 3D design work, basic knowledge about patterns and sewing, skill in 3D virtual clothing technology, ability to use various software, and English skills were considered important, in that order. In particular, the need for knowledge about patterns and sewing became more important than the skill in 3D virtual clothing technology itself. To train 3D designers, it was found that not only 3D virtual clothing software, but also education on patterns and clothing construction, CAD developer's curriculum certification system, and 3D designer qualification management were required. In addition, 3D designers are recognized as an essential job in fashion vendors, and the demand for domestic brands is increasing. The biggest limitation of the 3D virtual clothing system is the perfection of the digital fabric. Also, technical improvement is needed.

Her incredible life story reveals the path we should follow and the hope we should embrace. Her story showcases an incredible ability to overcome adversity in the human spirit. It reinforces the idea that even in the darkest moments, one can find the light of hope and resilience. Her story is a testament to the indomitable human will. Furthermore, Helen Keller's narrative often reminds us of the importance of gratitude for gifts and opportunities that are often taken for granted. Her longing for the simplest things, like sight, teaches us to cherish the abilities and privileges we currently possess. When facing contemporary challenges and uncertainties, her story conveys a profound message of unwavering hope and steadfast faith. She encourages us to seize the present moment, value the gifts we have, and embark on the journey of life with patience and hope, even when the path appears difficult. In this paper, we explore the life of Helen Keller and her literary work, emphasizing the importance of patience and hope in the difficult times faced by Koreans today, and we aim to present our attitude towards contributing to the nation's development. We seek to provide methods for preparing for a better and more hopeful future. We assert that we must carry hope and determination for the future and strive for new optimism and hope in Korean society.

  • This comprehensive study delves into the analysis of user review data across various metaverse platforms, employing advanced text mining techniques such as TF-IDF and Word2Vec to gain insights into user perceptions. The primary objective is to uncover the factors that contribute to user satisfaction and dissatisfaction, thereby providing a nuanced understanding of user experiences in the metaverse. Through TF-IDF analysis, the research identifies key words and phrases frequently mentioned in user reviews, highlighting aspects that resonate positively with users, such as the ability to engage in creative activities and social interactions within these virtual environments. Word2Vec analysis further enriches this understanding by revealing the contextual relationships between words, offering a deeper insight into user sentiments and the specific features that enhance their engagement with the platforms. A significant finding of this study is the identification of common grievances among users, particularly related to the processes of refunds and login, which point to broader issues within payment systems and user interface designs across platforms. These insights are critical for developers and operators of metaverse platforms, suggesting a focused approach towards enhancing user experiences by amplifying positive aspects. The research underscores the importance of continuous improvement in user interface design and the transparency of payment systems to foster a loyal user base. By providing a comprehensive analysis of user reviews, this study offers valuable guidance for the strategic development and optimization of metaverse platforms, ensuring they remain responsive to user needs and continue to evolve as vibrant, engaging virtual environments.

2010~2015년 사회네트워크분석(SNA) 방법 활용 국내외 영재교육 연구동향 분석 (Investigating Trends of Gifted Education in Domestic and Foreign Countries through Social Network Analysis from 2010 to 2015)

  • 본 연구는 사회네트워크분석(Social Network Analysis: SNA)방법을 활용하여 최근 6년간(2010~2015년)의 국내 및 해외 영재교육의 연구동향을 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 영재교육 관련 국내 KCI등재지인 '영재교육연구'(한국영재학회)와 '영재와 영재교육'(한국영재교육학회)에 게재된 논문 457편과 해외 SSCI학술지 'The Gifted Child Quarterly,' 'Journal for the Education of the Gifted,' 'High Ability Studies'에 게재된 논문 347편으로 선정하였으며, 각 논문의 영문 키워드를 추출한 후 SNA방법으로 키워드 네트워크와 연결중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 국내외 공통적으로 academically gifted, science gifted, gifted를 중심으로 achievement, identification, intelligence의 키워드 빈도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 따라서 영재를 대상으로 성취, 판별, 지능에 관련된 연구들이 가장 많이 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 이외에도 cognitive, motivation, self-concept이 공통적인 관심 주제로 나타났다. 한편 국내에서는 creativity, gifted education, gifted education teacher를, 해외에서는 foreign countries, student attitudes를 키워드로 한 연구가 주를 이루었다. 국내 영재교육 연구에서는 해외와 달리 외국사례, 학생태도, 성별차이 관련 키워드 빈도가 거의 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 국내 영재교육 연구는 보다 다양한 관점에서 연구가 이루어져야 하는 것으로 해석되었다.

  • The article considers current information technologies in the organization of educational work in secondary schools in Great Britain. The forms and types of organization of educational work in secondary schools of Great Britain with the help of modern information technologies are covered. The purposes of education with the help of modern information technologies are singled out. Mental, physical, labor, moral, aesthetic and other types of education, merged in a holistic educational process, provide an opportunity to achieve the main goal - the formation of a comprehensive and harmoniously developed personality. All forms of educational work have their pedagogical significance, and each of them is valuable in the process of education. Democratization and partnership development are the leading principles of education in British schools at the present stage; multiculturalism and student independence. This is the ability to promote the role of different types of education, such as: labor, moral, legal, religious, family, environmental, aesthetic, civic, physical, mental education, which is now possible with the help of current information technology. The article considers current information technologies in the organization of educational work in secondary schools in Great Britain.   • Building Ukraine as an independent, sovereign state requires the education of a citizen-patriot, able to live and work in a democracy, ensure the unity of Ukraine, feel constant responsibility for themselves, their people, country, seek to make a real contribution to the reform process. Modern modernization of the education system requires the search for new information and communication technologies that can ensure the formation of a citizen with an active civic position, which involves not only students mastering the rights and responsibilities of citizens, convincing them of the feasibility of democratic transformation of society, patriotic qualities and feelings, but also the identification of motivated civic actions. The pandemic and hostilities have led to significant changes in the field of education around the world, they have caused educational problems in Ukraine. At the beginning of the quarantine in the spring of 2020, all educational institutions in the emergency mode switched to distance learning. Intensive use of information and communication technologies in the life of modern society has led to a rethinking of the content of education and training of future professionals: the main role is played not so much by the information itself as the ability to work with it, critically comprehend and produce new knowledge; the main thing is not the amount of information, but its quality; information is needed for further practical application and transformation into knowledge, and the ability to work with information becomes one of the important competencies of the modern specialist in the new transformation of society: from information to the knowledge society. In this context, one of the main forms of training is distance learning, which is able to respond to the challenges of society. The main methodological positions that are taken into account in the construction of the structure and dynamics of the formation of civic responsibility of the individual during the use of information and communication technologies are highlighted. The structure of civil responsibility as a holistic system of information and communication technologies is outlined, which includes three subsystems that characterize the natural, social and systemic qualities of citizenship, interconnected hierarchically and synergistically.The constituent elements of the structural part of the model of civic culture of the individual are analyzed.
