본 연구에서는 예비 기독영어교사들이 전공봉사학습의 일환으로 서울 소재 두 교회의 주일학교 중학생들을 대상으로 개발한 영어성경학습 교재를 실제 교육상황에 적용해 본 후, 예비 영어교사들의 교재개발 과정에 대한 인식과 주일학교 교사들의 교재에 대한 인식이 어떠한지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에는 영어성경학습 교재 개발 과정이 단계별로 기술되어 있다. 본 연구의 자료 분석을 위해 예비 영어교사들과 주일학교 교사들과의 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 인터뷰 내용은 녹음하여 전사하였고 내용분석 방법을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 예비 영어교사들의 영어성경학습 교재 개발 경험을 통한 전공봉사학습이 전공 전문성 향상은 물론 교회를 돕는 보람과 만족감을 갖게 한 것으로 나타났다. 성경학습 교재 내에서 성경교육과 영어교육 목표 사이의 균형을 이루는 것은 예비 영어교사들과 교재를 사용해 본 주일학교 교사들 모두에게 어려운 점으로 드러났다. 마지막으로, 주일학교 교사들은 교재 내의 학습활동들의 연계가 자연스럽지 못한 점을 한계로 인식하였으나, 교재의 소재가 학생들의 실생활과 밀접하게 연관되어 있는 점은 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다.

현재 아동을 대상으로 한 원격교육관리시스템은 그 수가 미미할 뿐만 아니라 주로 성인을 대상으로 한 원격교육시스템을 모델로 하였기 때문에 아동의 교육적 특성을 충분히 반영하지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 아동의 교육적 흥미를 극대화하기 위하여 보다 효과적인 웹기반 실시간 원격영어교육관리시스템의 기능들을 제안하고자 한다. 특히 실제로 원격영어교육시스템을 이용하고 있는 초등학생들을 대상으로 하여 사용실태조사를 하고 이를 토대로 실시간, 양방향 교육서비스 제공의 필요성을 논의하고 학부모들에게 자녀의 교육과정을 실시간으로 관람토록 함으로써 보다 효율적인 아동교육프로그램을 제공하는 교육관리시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

Recently, mobile application for english vocabulary learning is being developed actively. However, most mobile English vocabulary learning applications did not effectively connected with the technical advantages of mobile learning. Also,the study of mobile english vocabulary learning app are still insufficient. Therefore, this paper development a english vocabulary context-learning Agent that can practice context learning more reasonably using a location-based service, a character recognition technology and augmented reality technology based on smart phones. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed agent, we have measured the precision and usability. As results of experiments, the precision of learning vocabulary is 89% and 'Match between system and the real world', 'User control and freedom', 'Recognition rather than recall', 'Aesthetic and minimalist design' appeared to be respectively 3.91, 3.80, 3.85, 4.01 in evaluation of usability. It were obtained significant results.

인터넷과 ICT 발전으로 스마트폰을 활용한 영어학습 분야 교육용 애플리케이션 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 학습자가 시간과 장소의 한계를 넘어 학습이 가능하게끔 해주는 스마트기술 기반 학습 플랫폼인 모바일 러닝은 환경변화와 트렌드에 맞춰 교육의 새로운 패러다임을 가져올 것이라 예상한다. 하지만 현존하는 애플리케이션들을 확인해보면 싱글채널을 보유한 영어학습 기관정보유형 또는 단순 언어학습을 사고학습의 개념으로 구성한 콘텐츠들이 대부분이다. 이에 영어학습 과정상의 인식 전환이 필요하며 사고적 운동학습이라는 관점으로 접근한 플랫폼서비스 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 영어학습을 위한 모바일러닝 UX플랫폼 개발범위와 전략을 모색하고 프로토타입을 통해 서비스 모델을 제안하는데 목적을 둔다.

학습자들은 기존의 전형적인 교재와 강의실을 통한 학습 방법보다는 e-teaming 같은 새로운 학습 방법을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 인터넷의 긍정적인 역할을 감안할 때, 외국어 학습에 멀티미디어 활용은 유용한 교수 방법이 될 것임에 틀림없다. 학습자가 언어 학습에서 시각적 자료의 활용을 선호한다는 점에서 멀티미디어를 이용한 E-learning은 영어 학습에 매우 중요한 교육 학습 방법이 될 수 있다. 이러한 장점은 언어 학습에서 학습자의 흥미를 유발하고 높은 학습 동기를 부여할 수 있다. 인터넷이나 웹을 통한 영어 학습의 장점은 컴퓨터의 다양한 멀티미디어 자료와 이러한 자료를 무한대로 반복재생 할 수 있어 반복 학습이 절대적인 영어 학습의 특성을 잘 적용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 영어 학습에 필요한 네 가지 Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening을 중심으로 e-learning에서 멀티미디어를 활용하는 학습 방법에 대해 살펴보기로 한다.

The present study has sought to explore the critical issues of English immersion education through the voices of the four elementary teachers who have recently taught at immersion programs under the guidance of Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education. The interview data with three teachers and the teaching journals of one teacher were analyzed and categorized into two emergent themes: (1) current difficulties in the immersion programs and (2) possible problems with the implementations of immersion programs in all public schools. Specifically, the first issue included teachers' inadequate teaching skills for immersion programs, accumulated learning losses, and lack of immersion class hours. The second issue included workload imposed on immersion program teachers, promotion of private education, learning losses of other subjects, and administration for show. Finally, pedagogical implications are suggested.

This paper analyzes the in-service training program for the 1st grade English teacher in the following 7 regions: Taejeon, Seoul, Incheon, Kangwon, Kyeonggi, Chungnam and Chungbuk. It also investigates the actual conditions of the program. The analyses are performed on three categories of subjects: Teaching Profession, Refinement and English Education. The English Education category can be divided into the three aspects: language skills, communicative skills and language learning/teaching skills. Among the 7 regions, subjects under Teaching Profession, Refinement and English Education have a significant (2-3 times +/-) variance in terms of the number and credit hours of the courses. While the Refinement Program is above the standard set by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development(MEHRD) in some regions, the Teaching Profession Program and the English Education Program is below the standard set by MEHRD in other regions. To overcome the weaknesses of the program, this paper suggests the following: 1) prescriptions for the proportion ratio of each category should be suitably modified. 2) MEHRD should observe and supervise the program of each region. 3) being organized, the program must have two parts as follows: the same mandatory subjects for all regions and optional subjects suited to each region.

This study investigated the perception of pre - service teachers in order to find out how paper textbooks are used in high school classes and what improvement is needed. Firstly, the results of analyzing the perception about the utilization of textbooks are as follows. First, in the case of Korean language, social studies, mathematics, science, and English, textbooks were used most frequently, and most of the respondents did not use textbooks for arts and physical education subjects. Secondly, Korean language, social studies, mathematics, science, and English textbooks are most frequently used as teaching materials. Third, in the case of Korean, social, mathematics, science, and English subjects, in addition to textbooks, problem collections were used most frequently and arts and physical education subjects showed the most use of prints. Next, the results of analyzing the perception of the improvement method of the textbooks are as follows. First, in the high school class, the response rate was high in that Korean, social, mathematics, science, and English classes needed a textbook. Most of the respondents answered that they were not necessary for the textbooks of arts and physical education subjects. Second, in order to improve the textbooks, the most demanding textbooks focused on the core basic contents, followed by self - directed learning activities, competency centered contents selection, cooperative learning activities, and teacher self - development. The demand for digital textbooks was low.

This paper aims to address the gains and losses of the CMC environment in Language learning. Data were attained from twelve middle school ESL students who took English as a second language class and twelve pre-service teachers taking ESL foundation course. This exploration describes the role of CMC focusing on its' advantages and disadvantages which language teachers need to consider. The findings revealed that the teachers, tasks, and other elements involved in the CMC environment provided several gains and losses for many areas of learning. This implies that CMC alone does not provide an optimal learning environment, but rather it is used as an essential tool in providing opportunities to enhance language learning. Several suggestions are made for teachers and pre-service teacher education how CMC instruction might be better designed. The paper concludes with some practical considerations for future research in the area of CMC.

S 대학교 교양필수 과목인 영어회화는 영어교육을 강화하기 위해 블렌디드 학습으로 설계되었다. 이 블렌디드 학습이 학습자의 학업성취도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 학업성취도의 변인에 대한 연구가 진행되었다. 연구결과로 성별, 전공, 군복무, 해외거주 경험, 면대면 출석, 퀴즈, 온라인 출석이 학업성취도에 영향을 미치고 온라인 학습방식(학습장소, 학습시간, 학습빈도)은 학업성취도와 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 온라인 학습만족도는 강사 만족도, 학습내용 만족도, 시스템 만족도로 나누어 조사했는데, 그 결과 단지 시스템 만족도만 학업성취도에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다.
