KASS 시스템 통합 및 검증 활동 (Integration, Verification, Qualification Activities for KASS System)

  • KASS (korea augmentation satellite system) 시스템 통합 및 검증(IVQ; integration, verification, qualification) 활동은 시스템 및 하위시스템 요구사항 검증 활동으로 IART(inspection, analysis, review of design, test) 기반으로 상세설계 (CDR; critical design review) 이후 하위시스템 공장수락시험 (FAT; factory acceptance test)부터 현장수락시험 (SAT; site acceptance test) 그리고 시스템 통합 검증 시험 (TRR; test readiness review) 까지 수행하였다. FAT 단계의 활동은 개발된 장비를 테스트 플랫폼에 설치하고 각 장비별 인터페이스 검증과 통합운영국(KCS; kass control station)과의 연동시험을 통해 성능을 검증하였다. SAT 단계의 활동은 FAT 단계에서 검증된 KRS (kass reference station), KPS (kass processing station), KUS (kass uplink station), KCS를 운영 현장에 설치하고 검증하는 단계이며 개발 일정 및 여건을 고려하여 3단계로 구분하여 수행하였다. TRR 단계의 활동은 항공위성1호기에서 방송되는 SBAS (satellite based augmentation system) 메시지를 이용하여 SAT을 통해 검증된 장비를 FAT 단계에 수행했던 시험 항목과 추가 시험 항목 검증을 통해 전체 시스템에 대한 성능 검증을 완료하였다.

청감실험을 통한 도시철도 승강장 소음의 성가심 반응에 대한 연구 (Study on the annoyance response of subway station noise using jury evaluation test)

  • The purpose of this study is to reveal the quantitative dose-response relationship between the noise emitted in the platform of subway station and the public response. The noise measured in the platform of subway station was used for a jury test. In order to find the factors which influence annoyance response due to the platform noise, jurors were examined for the difference of the annoying response, interrelation of sound quality parameter and annoyance response. The platform noise level was 77.2$\sim$83.9 dBA and the most of passengers at the platform were highly annoyed. And screen door contributes to annoyance reduction of platform noise. The results from analyzing sound quality parameters shows that loudness and annoyance response have a high correlation coefficient.

큐브위성 송수신시험을 위한 실내용 지상국 구축 (Construction of Indoor Ground Station for Cubesat Communication Test)

  • 큐브위성 비행 소프트웨어 개발과정에서 큐브위성과 지상국간 데이터 송수신 시험이 필요한데 지상국 구축 비용과 공간성 등을 고려해 야외용 안테나를 사용하지 않는 실내용 지상국이 적합하다. 실내용 지상국 구축시 송신 출력이 높으면 큐브위성 통신시스템의 고장을 유발할 수 있음으로 지상국의 송신 출력이 큐브위성 통신시스템의 수신 허용범위 안에 있도록 설계하고, 이를 검증해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 UHF 및 VHF 주파수를 사용하는 큐브위성과의 데이터 송수신을 위한 실내용 지상국 구축에 대해 기술한다. 특히, 송신 출력을 저감하기 위한 방법으로 감쇄기를 사용하였는데, 송신단에 감쇄기를 연결하여 송신 출력과 감쇄기 수에 따른 감쇄 정도를 측정하고 이의 결과를 분석하여 기술하였다.

Development of Ice Load Generation Module to Evaluate Station-Keeping Performance for Arctic Floating Structures in Time Domain

  • To assess the station-keeping performance of floating structures in the Arctic region, the ice load should be considered along with other environmental loads induced by waves, wind, and currents. However, present methods for performance evaluation in the time domain are not effective in terms of time and cost. An ice load generation module is proposed based on the experimental data measured at the KRISO ice model basin. The developed module was applied to a time domain simulation. Using the results of a captive model test conducted in multiple directions, the statistical characteristics of ice loads were analyzed and processed so that an ice load corresponding to an arbitrary angle of the structure could be generated. The developed module is connected to commercial dynamic analysis software (OrcaFlex) as an external force input. Station-keeping simulation in the time domain was conducted for the same floating structure used in the model test. The mooring system was modeled and included to reflect the designed operation scenario. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed ice generation module and its application to station-keeping performance evaluation. Considering the generated ice load, the designed structure can maintain a heading angle relative to ice up to 4°. Station-keeping performance is enhanced as the heading angle conforms to the drift direction. It is expected that the developed module will be used as a platform to verify station-keeping algorithms for Arctic floating structures with a dynamic positioning system.

개인적 위험도를 고려한 수소충전소의 안전계장기능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Safety Instrumented Function of Hydrogen Refueling Station Considering Individual Risk)

  • The frequency of fatal accidents that can occur at hydrogen refueling station was compared with the risk criterion for the general public suggested by the health and safety executive. If hydrogen refueling station meets the accident prevention facility standards presented in KGS Code FP216/217, it was confirmed that the risk of hydrogen refueling station was not at an unacceptable (intolerable) risk level. However, the risk of hydrogen refueling station due to small leak was analyzed as low as reasonably practicable. Therefore, methods for improving the safety instrumented function of hydrogen refueling station were reviewed. It was confirmed that the risk of hydrogen refueling station can be affected by the number of installed safety instrumentation system components, redundant architecture, mission time, proof test interval, etc. And methods for maintaining the risk of hydrogen refueling station at an acceptable risk level have been proposed.

가시선 환경에서 Pilot 채널을 이용한 WCDMA 기지국의 EIRP 측정 (EIRP Measurements of WCDMA Base Station Using Pilot Channel in Line-of-Sight Environments)

  • 본 논문에서는 WCDMA 기지국에서 방사되는 유효 등방성 복사 전력(EIRP)을 가시선 환경에서 pilot 채널을 이용하여 측정하는 방법을 기술하였다. 특히, 국내 기지국 검사에 적용될 수 있도록 실제 운용 중인 기지국을 대상으로 측정하였다. 측정된 결과와 Friis 전송 공식에 의해 추정된 EIRP 예측값과 송신 안테나 정보를 이용한 EIRP 계산값을 비교한 결과, -2 dB의 편차를 갖는 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 -2 dB 편차는 실험용 기지국 안테나로 확인한 결과, 편파 부정합에 의한 것으로 판별되어 제거할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 측정 방법을 활용하면 WCDMA 기지국 검사 시 기존의 공중선 전력으로 검사하는 방법 이외에 EIRP를 직접 측정하여 검사할 수 있다.

Multipath detection in carrier phase differential GPS

  • A multipath mitigation method using the fault detection and isolation technique is proposed for the CDGPS. The base station is assumed to be immune to the effect of the multipath. With this reasonable assumption, the effect of multipath in moving station is mitigated. For that, the double difference measurement is produced, and then another additional difference between code pseudorange and acclumulated carrier phase is calculated. The test statistic is constituted with those differences. The hypothesis testing is applied to that test statistic. The proposed test statistic makes use of the effect of multipath in code pseudoranges and it does not use time differences. Therefore the detection ability for multipath is improved in most environments. However, the increased number of differences makes the measurement noises larger. The performance of the method is compared with that of the conventional parity space method with code pseudorange.

Pilot 채널을 이용한 WCDMA 기지국의 최대 전기장 강도 예측 (Maximum Electric Field Strength Prediction of WCDMA Base Station Using Pilot Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 코드 영역에서의 pilot 채널의 전기장 강도를 측정하여 WCDMA 기지국에서 방사되는 전기장 강도의 최대값을 예측하였다. 사용된 방법의 타당성을 제시하기 위하여 자체 제작한 시험 기지국에서 광선 추적법을 이용한 이론값과 전체 대역에 대한 전기장 강도 측정 결과와 비교하여 90 % 이상 일치함을 확인하였다. 그리고 실제 운용 중인 기지국을 대상으로 채널 전체에 대한 전기장 강도 측정 결과를 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 예측한 결과와 비교하였다. 비교한 결과, pilot 채널을 이용하면 최대 트래픽 상태의 전기장 강도를 예측할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 측정방법은 국내 무선국 전기장 강도 검사에 효과적으로 적용될 수 있다.

  • In this study CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis of the steady fire-driven fuid flow for the performance test of ventilation at railway tunnel between Heuksok and Nodeul Station from Seoul Metro 9 is performed. There were fans with exhaust and intake modes and each was installed at the middle and both ends of the tunnel. For this test, the pool fire source of methyl alcohol with 1.5MW and smoke generators were installed between the middle of tunnel and Heuksok Station. In this test, the smoke behavior from natural convection was observed for 10 minutes from the ignition of pool fire and then fans with intake-modes at both sides of Heuksok effect of fan-on with intake mode located in the opposite side of the tunnel nearby Heuksok Station on fire-driven fluid flow is studied on when the boundary conditions of fan-on at the tunnel between Heuksok and Nodeul Station are the same as test. FLUENT, a commercial CFD code, is used for this analysis.

A Study on BMPR-IB Genes of Bayanbulak Sheep

  • The average twin lambing rate of Bayanbulak sheep is 2% to 3%. However, a flock of sheep with a close genetic relationship and an average of 2 to 3 lambs per birth has been found recently. To determine the major genes controlling the prolificacy of the flock in the present study, the flock was designated A while 100 normal Bayanbulak sheep were randomly selected to comprise the control flock B. Ligase detection reaction method was applied to detect and analyze the 10 mutational loci of the 3 candidate prolificacy genes including bone morphogenetic protein type I receptors, bone morphogenetic protein 15, and growth differentiation factor 9. The 10 mutational loci are as follows: FecB locus of the BMPR-IB gene; $FecX^I$, $FecX^B$, $FecX^L$, $FecX^H$, $FecX^G$, and $FecX^R$ of the BMP15 gene; and G1, G8, and FecTT of the GDF9 gene. Two mutations including BMPR-IB/FecB and GDF9/G1 were found in Bayanbulak sheep. Independence test results of the two flocks demonstrate that the FecB locus has a significant effect on the lambing number of Bayanbulak sheep. However, the mutation frequency of the G1 locus in GDF9 is very low. Independence test results demonstrate that the GDF9 locus does not have a significant impact on the lambing performance of Bayanbulak sheep. Among the 10 detected loci, BMPR-IB/FecB is the major gene that influences the high lambing rate of Bayanbulak sheep.
