춘천 남서부지역의 식물상과 식생 (Flora and Vegetation of Southwest Chuncheon Area)

  • 춘천 남서부지역의 식물상과 식생을 2006년 3월부터 2007년 9월까지 조사하였다. 그 결과 관속식물은 111과 448속 766종 2아종 119변종 27품종으로 총 914분류군이 자생하는 것으로 조사되었다. 조사된 914분류군 중 특산식물은 33분류군이며, 희귀식물과 멸종위기 식물은 각각 26분류군과 4분류군이었고 식물구계학적 특정식물종은 152분류군으로 조사되었다. 한편 귀화식물은 46분류군이 분포하는 것으로 집계되었으며, 생활형 조성은 H-R5-D1-e type으로 나타났다. 조사된 914종류의 용도는 식용이 308종류(33.7%)로 가장 높았고 약용 276종류(30.2%), 목초용 148종류(16.2%), 관상용 127종류(13.9%), 목재용 36종류(3.9%), 섬유용 25종류(2.7%), 그리고 공업용이 4종류(0.4%)로 나타났다. 식생분석결과 춘천 남서부 지역의 식생은 5개의 군집, 즉 거제수나무-고로쇠나무 군집, 신갈나무 군집, 신갈나무-굴참나무 군집, 신갈나무-떡갈나무 군집, 그리고 소나무 군집이 분포하는 것으로 나타났다.

Effects of Culture Mechanism of Cinnamomum kanehirae and C. camphora on the Expression of Genes Related to Terpene Biosynthesis in Antrodia cinnamomea

  • The rare edible and medicinal fungus Antrodia cinnamomea has a substantial potential for development. In this study, Illumina HiSeq 2000 was used to sequence its transcriptome. The results were assembled de novo, and 66,589 unigenes with an N50 of 4413 bp were obtained. Compared with public databases, 6,061, 3,257, and 2,807 unigenes were annotated to the Non-Redundant, Gene Ontology, and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes databases, respectively. The genes related to terpene biosynthesis in the mycelia of A. cinnamomea were analyzed, and acetyl CoA synthase (ACS2 and ACS4), hydroxymethylglutaryl CoA reductase (HMGR), farnesyl transferase (FTase), and squalene synthase (SQS) were found to be upregulated in XZJ (twig of C. camphora) and NZJ (twig of C. kanehirae). Moreover, ACS5 and 2,3-oxidized squalene cyclase (OCS) were highly expressed in NZJ, while heme IX farnesyl transferase (IX-FIT) and ACS3 were significantly expressed in XZJ. The differential expression of ACS1, ACS2, HMGR, IX-FIT, SQS, and OCS was confirmed by real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR. This study provides a new concept for the additional exploration of the molecular regulatory mechanism of terpenoid biosynthesis and data for the biotechnology of terpenoid production.

Flora of Mt. Woosanbong, Korea

  • This study was performed to investigate the flora and plant resources of Mt. Woosanbong (537.8 m) from April to October 2002. The collected vascular plants were composed of all 389 taxa including cultivated species, and classified into 329 species, 2 subspecies, 53 varieties, and 5 forms of 248 genera under 81 families. Six taxa of the Korean endemic plants and 4 taxa of the rare and endangered plants were also distributed in this mount. Resource plants were categorized into edible 181, pasturing 160, medicinal 136, stainable 94, ornamental 77, timber 22, fiber 5 and industrial 4 taxa, respectively. Floristic geography of the investigated area was regarded as the boundary between middle and southern parts in floristic pattern of the Korean Peninsula.

Plant Resources of Mt. Gamak

  • This study was performed to investigate the flora and plant resources of Mt. Gamak (537.8 m) from April to October 2007. The collected vascular plants were composed of all 478 taxa including cultivated species, and classified into 410 species, 3 subspecies, 61 varieties, and 4 forms of 284 genera under 94 families. Six taxa of the Korean endemic plants and 4 taxa of the rare and endangered plants were also distributed in this mount. Resource plants were categorized into edible 222, pasturing 208, medicinal 183, stainable 134, ornamental 96, timber 20, fiber 6 and industrial 4 taxa, respectively. 박지산(강원 평창) 관속식물의 분포 (Distribution of Vascular Plants in Bakjisan (Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon))

  • 본 연구는 강원 평창군 박지산(해발 1,394 m, 북위 $36^{\circ}35'068"{\sim}36^{\circ}34'713"N$, 동경 $128^{\circ}36'245"{\sim}128^{\circ}36'252"$)의 관속식물 분포를 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2008년 4월 부터 2008년 10월까지 총 7회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 95과 304속 439종 4아종 53변종 6품종의 502종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 248종류, 약용 263종류, 공업용 98종류, 관상용 138종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 98종이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 13종류, 환경부지정 법적 보호식물 II급이 2종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 22종류, IV등급 13종류, V등급 6종류, 희귀식물 중 멸종위기종이 2분류군, 위기종이 4분류군, 취약종이 7분류군, 귀화식물이 18종류로 나타났다.

덕적도(인천)의 관속식물상 조사 연구 (The Study for Flora of Vascular Plants of Deokjeokdo (Incheon))

  • 비교적 크기가 크고 남방계인자들이 간헐적으로 보고 된 덕적도 일대에 대하여 자연자원의 분포를 규명하고, 환경 및 기후변화 등의 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 관속식물에 대한 분포조사를 2007년 9월부터 2008년 9월까지 35회에 걸쳐 수행하였다. 본 조사를 통해 확인된 조사지역 내의 소산 관속식물은 108과 320속 480종 2아종 45변종 8품종의 535분류군으로 확인되었다. 관속식물 중에서 국화과 식물이 가장 많은 비율을 차지하고 있었고 벼과, 콩과, 장미과의 순이었다. 특정식물로는 한국 특산 관속식물 4분류군, 산림청 지정 희귀 및 멸종위기식물 6분류군, 환경부지정 특정식물종 55분류군이 각각 조사되었고, 반면에 귀화식물은 50분류군이 조사되어 전체식물상의 약 17.9%를 차지하였다. 조사지역의 식생은 일부 지역에서 인간 활동에 의해 교란되어 있었으나 대체로 양호한 상태이고 일부 지역은 특이할 만한 식물들도 발견되어 체계적인 보호가 요구되어졌다. 인간 간섭이 심할 것으로 판단되는 저지대의 대부분 지역에서 귀화식물의 점유율이 아주 높았고, 차후로 귀화식물의 분포가 빠르게 확산될 것이 예상되어 생태계의 교란이 우려되어 지므로 이에 대한 대책이 수립되어야 할 것으 로 보아진다.

갈라산(경북 안동시.의성군) 관속식물의 분포 (Distribution of Vascular Plants in Gallasan (Andong-si.Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk))

  • 본 연구는 경북 안동시 갈라산(해발 596.2 m, 북위 $36^{\circ}29'396"{\sim}36^{\circ}29'356"$, 동경 $128^{\circ}43'841"{\sim}128^{\circ}45'799"$)의 관속식물 분포를 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2006년 4월부터 2009년 8월까지 총 13회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 92과 273속 365종 2아종 47변종 10품종의 총 424종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 239종류, 약용 291종류, 공업용 109종류, 관상용 135종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 24종이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 9종류, 환경부지정 법적 보호식물 II급이 2종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 7종류, IV등급 1종류, V등급 2종류, 희귀식물 중 멸종위기종이 1분류군, 위기종이 3분류군, 취약종이 2분류군, 귀화식물이 23종류로 나타났다.

금정산의 관속식물상 (Floristic Study on Mt. Kumjung)

  • The floristic characteristics and ecological conservation measures for the plant resources of the Mt. Kumjung(801m), Pusan, Korea were discussed. The field works was done for about twenty times in nine major areas from March, 1995 to Octover, 1996. The total number of vascular plants In this area were summarized as 103 families, 312 genera, 493 species and 564 kinds. The fourteen kinds of artificially planted, ten kinds of Korean endemics and twenty-nine kinds of Korean rare and endangered species in the area were revised and compiled in the list. The flora of the area were categorized into the South-coast put of the Korean Region, where the species such as Platycarya strobilacea, Quercug serrata, Eutya japonica, Camellia japonica, Trachelosperm urn asia talcum vu . in termedium, Quercus acu tissima were roles as major floristic components in the Korean Region and endemized in the south-cosat part of Korea. The natural communities such as Pinus thunbergii Community, Quercus mongolica community, Cupinus laxiflora Community, Wistria floribunda Community and swamp vegetation in Bukmun area as well as upland grassland at the summit of Kodangpong were represented for their floristic values in the area. The thirty kinds of medichinal plant, fifteen kinds of ornamental plants and thirteen kinds of edible plants are faced potentially in endangered from the outrageous collections by the local peoples. The action plan for the conservation management of the area which enables sustainable use by the local peoples must have established in the near feature.

하동 구재봉 생태숲 조성부지의 관속식물상 유형별 분류 (Classification Type of Vascular Plants in Ecological Forest Site on the Gujaebong (Mt.), Hadong)

  • The vascular plants in ecological forest site on the Gujaebong (Mt.), Hadong were listed 338 taxa; 85 families, 219 genera, 290 species, 1 subspecies, 40 varieties and 7 forms. Divided into 338 taxa; woody plants were 121 taxa (35.8%) and herbaceous plants were 217 taxa (64.2%). Based on the legal protection species, endangered wild plants II were recorded; Aconitum austro-koreense, Corylopsis gotoana var. coreana and rare plants (IUCN) by the Korea Forest Service and Korea National Arboretum 5 taxa were recorded; Botrychium virginianum, Aconitum austro-koreense, Coreanomecon hylomecoides, Corylopsis gotoana var. coreana, Viola albida. Based on the list of Korean endemic plants, 13 taxa were recorded; Cephalotaxus koreana, Thalictrum actaefolium, Vicia nipponica, Indigofera koreana, Stewartia koreana, Weigela subsessilis, etc. Based on the list of approved for delivering overseas of plants, 5 taxa were recorded; Coreanomecon hylomecoides, Vaccinium oldhami, Paulownia coreana, Asperula lasiantha, Carex okamotoi. Specific plant species by floral region were total 21 taxa (6.2% of all 338 taxa of vascular plants); Aconitum austro-koreense, Corylopsis gotoana var. coreana in class V, Cimicifuga heracleifolia, Coreanomecon hylomecoides in class IV, 4 taxa (Stewartia koreana, Phacellanthus tubiflorus, Lonicera subhispida, etc.) in class III, Potentilla dickinsii, Viola orientalis in class II, 11 taxa (Aconitum jaluense, Angelica anomala, Erythronium japonicum, etc.) in class I. The naturalized plants in the surveyed sites were 8 families, 15 genera, 15 taxa (Phytolacca americana, Crassocephalum crepidioides, Lolium perenne, etc.) and naturalization rate was 4.4% of all 338 taxa of vascular plants.

Record of Fimbristylis ovata (Cyperaceae) from Jejudo Island, Korea

  • We report Fimbristylis ovata (Burm.f.) J. Kern (Cyperaceae) from the sunny grasslands along the coastline on Jejudo Island, Korea, as a new distribution in Korea. This is thought to be the third confirmed record of this rare sedge in Korea; the first was from Gapari ('Is. Quelpaert') collected by Taquet in 1908, and the second was from Marado Island, collected by Kim and Kim in 2018. We found two new populations on Jejudo Island, the first with many individuals and the second with only a few plants. Following an examination of herbarium specimens, this species is considered to be rare and endangered in Korea, limited in distribution in Korea to Jejudo and Marado Islands.
