This study intends to analyze the general printed encyclopedia published and circulated in Korea. The main purpose it is to offer extensive information helping users or librarians to select superior encyclopedia. 4 printed encyclopedia published and circulated in Korea since 1993 are selected for this purpose And they are analyzed on the basis of 6 evaluation standards (purpose & scope, authority, accessibility, clarity & readability, format and special features & cost). Especially, 4 printed encyclopedia among the best American encyclopedia having long history were also co-analyzed to certificate the validity of the evaluative standards.

This study aims to perform an evaluation of web-based encyclopedia services provided by major Korean search portals, Navel, Yahoo-Korea, Empas, and Daum. These encyclopedia services are evaluated in terms of the relevance, up-to-dateness, and multimedia features of search results. In conducting this study, real queries that real users submitted were used. This study also compares functional characteristics of these encyclopedia services. The results of this study can be implemented to the development and improvement of portal's encyclopedia services. Users can refer to the results of this study in choosing encyclopedia services from search portals.

Archival appraisal is a key area of archival science. This study aims to identify the knowledge structure of archival appraisal and propose appropriate translation terms. To this end, 34 entry terms related to archival appraisal were first extracted from 146 entries in the Encyclopedia of Archival Science, a leading encyclopedia in the field, and terminologies were categorized based on content analysis. Second, the contents described in the entries were assessed for each category, and the main concepts and flow of discussions were also examined. Third and last, suitable translations for each entry term were presented, and considerations were suggested for the translations, such as the application of appropriate principles of equivalence. Specifically, terms such as "records appraisal" and "archival appraisal" were recommended to be used separately.

The Augmented Reality, as a technology caught the spotlight as a next generation's technology of inserting 3D virtual objects in the space of reality seen through the camera, can maximize the learning effects by inducing user's absorption and interest using interaction between user and objects. Recently, as the movile devices having excellent mobility and portability are generalized, the diversified augmented reality are introduced using mobile devices. In this article, a 3D fish encyclopedia system augmented from the mobile environment was designed to provide the user with learning contents focusing on the sense of absorption and an interest. This system is intened to provide helps to learn about the fishes by recognizing the pictures of fishes in the encyclopedia as marker, bringing out the 3D model stored in server and displaying in the mobile environment.

${\ulcorner}Gogeumdoseojipseong{\lrcorner}$, it has been compiled by Chenmenglei(1651-1723). This large encyclopedia was published in 1125 during Ohing dynasty of China in the reign of the Kangxi emperor. The medical parts of this encyclopedia was titled the name of Yibuquanlu, but it is not correct. KIOM(Korea Institute of oriental Medicine) researched the compilation and publication of the original book of this and the process of introduction to Chosun with its woodblock-printed book for making database of this book. Even more, we analyzed the structure of this book and apprehended the historical significance about medical interchange between Korea and China by this book. As the result, we found that the most part of this large encyclopedia quotedfrom ${\ulcorner}Donguibogam{\lrcorner}$ of Chosun, then it was back to Chosun and taken a part to medical books such as ${\ulcorner}Imwonkyungjaejis{\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}Uijongsonikr{\lrcorner}$.

As clearly suggested in the case of Wikipedia, collective intelligence is predicted to develop into the most important platform of knowledge and information in the future society. But it just remains at the level of activities for group projects in the present frame of education and so it doesn't lead to creating collective intelligence. This study looks into an 'information repository model of collective intelligence' that makes it possible to deliver an education process a priori of Shared Knowledge Reservoir to "Junior Digital Nomad", who is definitely and will be in existence, and that further enables them to be active there in reality. Based on this storage model, it suggests a practicable web system model; Junior Maphistory e-encyclopedia, which is appropriately consistent with the features of Web 2.0 and can grow into a general historical and geographical information service.

최근 일과 삶의 균형을 찾는 '워라밸'에 사람들의 관심을 커지면서 일에만 몰두하는 것보다 개인의 삶의 질을 더 중요하게 생각하게 되었다. 이에 따라 퇴근 후나 주말의 여가 시간에 다양한 취미 활동을 하는 사람들이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 여가를 즐기고자 하는 사람들에게 다양한 카테고리의 취미 활동을 소개해주는 취미 백과 애플리케이션을 설계 및 개발하였다. 취미 백과 애플리케이션을 이용하면 사람들이 보다 쉽게 새롭고 다양한 취미를 접할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Authors describe here five new species and three new subspecies of Korean Iand snail fauna. They are collected from the southern part of Korea including Ullungdo and Chejudo. In modern society, with the growing emphasis on health and fitness, the need for education on proper exercise methods is increasingly highlighted. The purpose of this study is to develop a 3D anatomical exercise encyclopedia application optimized for Korean users, enabling them to clearly understand the anatomical structure of exercises and easily learn proper exercise methods. In this study, a user-friendly interface was developed using Flutter and Unity, and a feature was added that allows users to intuitively check muscle activation through 3D models. Users can easily understand the anatomical structure of the exercise areas through 3D models that can be zoomed in, out, and rotated, and can easily access information such as exercise definitions, exercise sequences, agonist muscles, and synergist muscles. As a result of the study, most of the 21 users who used the application showed high satisfaction with the intuitiveness of the interface and the accuracy of the information, suggesting improvements such as the addition of exercise items and muscle highlighting effects, confirming the potential for developing an exercise encyclopedia application optimized for users.
