재학생의 디지털 인테리어디자인 실무능력 인증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Certify for Enrolled Student Ability of Digital Interior Design Solution)

  • This research studied necessary digital Interior Design education and certification formality for Dept. of Interior Design students' percentage of employment raising and competitive power elevation of industry by the support of 2005 junior college finance support business from the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. Contents of this research is built from joint research by vender of software, which has the highest distribution and preference rate of digital Interior Design related software in industry, and The Korea Digital Architecture and Interior Association, and Daeduk college. The necessary certification standard and course-ware for employment of graduates were developed. There are descriptions for students' needs on digital Interior Design related practical application ability that can receive authentication, And made out education schedule as well as contents so that execution of authentication and education may be possible.

Professional Inclination of Library and Information Science (LIS) Students of India: A Study of Socioeconomic Background and Career Choice Factors

  • The purpose of the study is to assess the professional inclination, academic and social background, family status and their occupation, gender distribution, choice of work, and their perceptions of aspirant LIS students. The study examined the various career choice factors and sources of motivation that influence the students of LIS profession. The data has been collected from the 251 LIS students' enrolled five prominent universities of North India. The results indicate that majority of female students join the LIS profession because of employment opportunities. Most of the respondents are from rural areas, hails to middle class families and their educational background in Arts/Humanities and Social Science subjects. Majority of the respondents choose the LIS profession as primary career because for the better employment possibilities. The study recommends the public awareness about the LIS profession in India.

Inclusive Growth Analysis in Central Sulawesi, The Eastern Province of Indonesia 2015-2019

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze the inclusive growth in Central Sulawesi Province, an eastern province of Indonesia, up to the districts/cities level. The inclusive growth is analyzed by using Ramos, Ranieri, and Lammens' index that has three indicators which are employment, poverty, and income inequality. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses panel data of 13 districts/cities in Central Sulawesi Province from 2015 to 2019. The statistical regression used is the panel regression method to analyze the determinants of inclusive growth there. Results: The study found that the average inclusive growth of districts/cities in Central Sulawesi is increasing from the low-level in 2015 to mid-level in 2019. The panel's data regression using fixed effect model FGLS-SUR found Investment (GFCF), Road Infrastructure, HDI, and Processing Industry have a significant positive effect. Regional minimum wage (RMW) has a significant negative effect. Government Expenditure on Education and Health Function has no significant positive effect on inclusive growth. Conclusions: throughout the study period, gini coefficient and poverty rate is slowly decreasing, while employment to population ratio remains volatile in districts/cities of Central Sulawesi.

지리정보시스템과 원격탐사자료를 이용한 도시공간구조의 파악 -대구광역권 사례연구- (Identifying Urban Spatial Structure through GIS and Remote Sensing Data -The Case of Daegu Metropolitan Area-)

  • 본 연구는 지리정보시스템과 원격탐사자료를 이용하여 도시공간구조를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 특히 본 연구는 거대도시와 중소도시의 중간규모인 대도시의 공간구조를 대구광역시와 그 주변지역을 단위로 하는 대구광역권을 사례지역으로 선정하였다. 도시구조는 인구 및 직업밀도를 기준으로 분석하였다. 이 분석을 위하여 1995, 2000, 2005년도의 Landsat TM 5 위성영상자료를 지리정보시스템과 연계하여 피복분석을 통하여 활용되었다. 공간구조는 인구밀도와 직업밀도의 거리조락함수를 추정함으로써 파악되었다. 분석결과 대구광역권의 차원에서는 단핵도시구조를 보이고 있다. 그러나 단핵도시모형의 설명력이 점차 감소하는 점, 부도심의 형성 및 성장 등의 추세를 감안하면 분석범위를 대구광역시에 한정할 경우 다핵심도시구조로 이행하고 있다.

최저임금 인상이 근로자 고용규모에 미치는 영향: "경제활동인구조사" 자료를 이용한 분석 (Effects of Minimum Wage Increases on the Volume of Waged Employment: Evidence from the Economically Active Population Survey)

  • 본 논문은 Cengiz et al.(2019)이 제안한 집군(集群)추정법을 "경제활동인구조사" 자료에 적용해 2009~2019년 기간 최저임금 인상이 근로자 고용규모에 미친 영향을 추정한다. 집군추정법은 강창희(2020)에서도 적용된 방법으로서 최저임금 인상에 따른 시간당 임금 분포의 변동을 활용하고, 한국과 같이 전국적으로 동일한 최저임금을 채택하는 노동시장에 쉽게 적용될 수 있다. 추정 결과에 의하면, 2009~2019년 기간 동안 연도별 최저임금의 인상은 고용규모에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 최저임금이 10% 인상되면 근로자 전체 고용규모는 약 1.42~1.74% 정도 감소하는 것으로 추정된다. 최저임금 인상의 부정적 고용효과는 근로자 집단별로, 사업체 특성별로 서로 다르다. 최저임금 근로자의 비중이 높은 집단에서 부정적인 효과가 더 크다. 향후 최저임금 인상 폭을 결정하는 과정에서 최저임금 인상으로 인한 부정적인 고용효과를 충분히 고려할 필요가 있다.

도시철도 건설종사자의 맥파 스트레스 지수와 작업능력 지수 분석 (Analysis of Macpa Stress Index and Work Ability Index on Subway Construction Workers)

  • Metro subway construction is a field that requires a great deal of professional manpower. The aging of professionals has a negative impact on both productivity and health, owing to poor working environments, heavy lifting, underground work, and other factors. To address this issue, the government is progressively revising and enforcing health management law and regulation in the construction industry. Thus, the job stress and work ability of many professional subway construction workers, who are rapidly aging, are being analyzed to ensure their safety and improve their health. In this study, the Macpa stress index of Busan Metro Subway construction workers from Sasang to Hadan line was measured by using a Macpa measurement machine, and a work ability survey was conducted by using the questionnaire that was developed by the FIOH. The independent variables were age, years of service, job position, employment type, and occupation. While, the dependent variables were the Macpa stress index and work ability. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used because it was difficult to assume that the statistics of this study represented a normal distribution. The results showed that age, job position, and employment type affected Macpa stress index and revealed that as the age of the workers increased, their stress levels increased as well. Additionally, job position and employment type affected the work ability of the metro subway construction workers. In terms of job position, the technical engineers were under a lot of stress, and whereas the managers had the best work ability. The technical engineers were more stressed than the other workers because of a poor working environment. In terms of employment type, daily workers were under more stress and lower work ability than others.

Determining Unemployment Factors Among Job Seeking Youth in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia

  • This study examines factors of unemployment and career path challenges commonly faced by youth in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The study employed a quantitative approach which involved a total of 1,083 youths in Kelantan, Pahang and Terengganu selected at random. Descriptive and multiple regression analysis (OLS) methods were used to analyze demographic distribution of youth in determining factors influencing unemployment among them. The results reveal that the majority of youth respondents in the East Coast states of Malaysia are still unemployed and actively seeking employment. Demographic profiles are based on the survey results, youths seeking employment with 36 per cent distribution in Kelantan, 34 per cent in Pahang, and 30 per cent in Terengganu. Majority of the respondents were youths aged 20 to 24 years with a 40.9 percent percentage. The findings show that there are differences in factors affecting youth unemployment in the three states of East Coast, Malaysia. For Kelantan (age, experience, work mobility, marital status), Pahang (experience, marital status) and Terengganu (experience, gender, marital status, training). This study suggests that youths should be wise in preparing for their career by choosing the right career as well as doing side jobs to gain experience before they pursue for a real job.

Descriptive Study of Occupational Accidents and their Causes among Electricity Distribution Company Workers at an Eight-year Period in Iran

  • Background: Occupational accidents are unplanned events that cause damage. The socio-economic impacts and human costs of accidents are tremendous around the world. Many fatalities happen every year in workplaces such as electricity distribution companies. Some electrical injuries are electrocution, electric shock, and burns. This study was conducted in an electricity distribution company (with rotational 12-hour shift work) in Iran during an 8-year period to survey descriptive factors of injuries. Methods: Variables collected included accident time, age of injured worker, employment type, work experience, injury cause, educational background, and other information about accidents. Results: Results indicated that most of the accidents occurred in summer, and 51.3% were during shift work. Worker negligence (malpractice) was the cause of 75% of deaths. Type of employment had a significant relationship with type of injuries (p < 0.05). Most injuries were electrical burns. Conclusion: High rate of accidents in summer may be due to the warm weather or insufficient professional skills in seasonal workers. Shift workers are at risk of sleep complaints leading to a high rate of work injuries. Acquiring knowledge about safety was related to job experiences. Temporary workers have no chance to work all year like permanent workers, therefore impressive experiences may be less in them. Because the lack of protective equipment and negligence are main causes of accidents, periodical inspections in workshops are necessary.

  • This paper presents a new structure of MPEG-4 AAC encoder. The proposed encoder directly shapes quantization noise distribution according to the energy distribution curve and thereafter performs adjustment of the offset level of the noise distribution to meet the given bit rate. The direct noise shaping and the bit rate matching scheme of the proposed encoder algorithm significantly alleviate the problem of conventional encoder's processing burden related with the employment of the precise psychoacoustic model and iteration intensive quantizer. The encoder algorithm is implemented on ARM processor with fixed-feint arithmetic operations. The audio quality of the implemented system is observed comparable to those of commercially available encoders, white the complexity of the implementation is drastically reduced in comparison to the conventional encoder systems.

빅데이타 분석을 통한 유통산업 클러스터의 형성과 생태계 연구 (A Study On Clusters and Ecosystem In Distribution Industry Using Big Data Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 2015년도 5만 여개의 기업거래정보(KED(한국기업정보))를 이용하여, 유통업체와 관련이 있는, 지속적인 거래관계를 가진 기업들의 거래관계 네트워크를 형성하여 유통업체의 생태계를 파악하고자 하였다. 클러스터링의 방법을 사용한 결과, 5개 이상의 기업들로 이루어진 731개의 클러스터로 묶여진다. 이들은 KED 자료에서 파악되는 유통산업 매출의 약 80%룰 차지한다. 클러스터들은 소속된 업체들의 거래가 대부분 내부에서 완결되는 모듈화된 거래 패턴을 가진다. 유통 클러스터들은 그들 매출의 70% 이상을 하나 또는 2, 3개의 업체(주기업)가 차지하고 있다. 이러한 특징은 제조업과 유사하다. 그렇지만 유통 클러스터들은 소속 기업수가 제조업과 비교하여 작은 특징을 지니고 있으며 조립 제조업체들에 비해서는 특정 업체와 클러스터에 매출이 집중된 정도도 약하다. 기업연관분석의 결과를 보면, 30대 유통업체들이 소속된 클러스터내의 중소기업들의 주기업에 대한 매출의존도는 롯데쇼핑, 이마트, 이랜드리테일, 신세계, 현대홈쇼핑 등이 최소 35% 이상의 값을 보인다. 이들 클러스터 내에서의 공정거래정책을 통한 중소기업 육성정책의 여지가 크다는 점을 암시한다. 씨제이홈쇼핑, 현대홈쇼핑, 한무쇼핑 등은 아주 높은 생산유발효과를 가지며, 앞의 두 업체는 동일 클러스터 소속 중소기업들에 특히 높은 생산유발효과를 가지고 있다. 그리고 1-9번 클러스터들은 중소기업의 고용 비중이 높고 중소기업의 고용계수가 매우 높은 10번 기업군과 31번 기업군에서 상품을 조달하는 경우가 많다. 중소기업에 높은 생산 및 고용 유발효과를 가지고 있거나, 10, 31번 기업군에 후방연관효과가 높은 기업들은 중소기업 성장 및 고용 정책에서 중시되어야 할 것이다.
