일부 치위생과 학생들의 취업준비행동에 관한 연구 (A study on employment preparation behavior in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate influences on employment preparation in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 386 dental hygiene students in South Korea from November 1 to 30, 2016. For data analysis, the study used independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis among others. Results: Students with higher grades tended to have major satisfaction, instruction participation, and employment preparation (P<0.001). Higher parental monthly income was related to higher major satisfaction (P<0.001). Employment preparation was significantly positively related to major selection motive, major satisfaction, and instruction participation. Conclusions: In order to encourage dental hygiene students to prepare for employment, it is necessary to create a better academic environment and develop a variety of employment preparation education programs. I think that the active interest of the country, society, school, and family will have a positive impact on employment preparation.

치기공과 학생들의 해외취업에 대한 선호도 조사 (A Study on the Preferences of Dental Technology Students for Overseas Employment)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to find overseas workplace and improve global competence through the preference survey on overseas employment by dental technology students. Methods: The survey sample consisted of 250 randomly selected dental technology students. Survey was conducted from March 1 to May 1 in 2012. Total of 245(98.0%) replies and analyzed 236 questionnaires excluding 9 incomplete questionnaires. The questionnaires used in this study consisted of 7 items for general information, overseas employment characteristics of 10 items, 7 items for overseas employment activation plane and job competency development of 7 items. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Win 19.0 statistics program. Results: Regarding general characteristics of the subjects, there were 131 third graders(55.5%), 63 first graders(26.7%) and 42 second graders(17.8%) among 130 males(55.1%) and 106 females(44.9%). 221(93.6%) of the subjects had no experience in language training. Students who had clinical training for 1-5 months were 123(52.1%), and 24(10.2%) students had more than six months. 89(37.7%) of the subjects had no clinical training. 155(65.7%) of the subjects hope to work with korean owner, and 81(34.3%) chose foreign owner. Favored working countries were Australia(41.5%), the United States(29.2%), Canada(18.2%) and other(11.0%). The field of dental ceramic was indicated to be the highest proportion of 104(44.1%). Period of training were 3 hours(40.3%) and 6 hours(35.2%). The most important training were language-centered education(54.2%), Job-oriented education(24.2%), local culture education(16.1%), other(3.0%) and Leadership Training(2.5%). The subjects chose overseas worker(44.9%), working-level practitioner (28.8%), successfully employed dental technology graduate(19.5%a) and professor(3.4%) as an instructor. The subjects get education and training information from professor(40.3%), other(28.0%), senior(14.4%), job site(8.9%) and acquaintance(8.5%). A credit exchange(2.46 points), a joint degree program(2.46 points), and a foreign professor(2.33 points) were needed to activate the overseas employment. A kind of dental prosthesis(3.58 points), carving tooth morphology(3.38 points), and majors of dental technology(3.30 points) were indicated to develop job competency for overseas employment. Age, year, clinical training experience and company owner were statistically meaningful data among the general characteristics affecting job competency development. Conclusion: The college needs to offer variety programs such as foreign language-centered education and a local job competency development program to graduates to be connected with international workplace and employment.

A Study on the Improvement of Education and Environment of Children of Multicultural Families

  • Recently, as the number of multicultural families and foreigners living in korea increase, the proportion of various types of families and middle-admitted youths is increasing. These youths are less educated than their domestic counterparts, and their conversation time with their family members is relatively weak. Therefore, there is a need for a specialized education system for education and socialization. Immigration background among middle-admitted adolescents, children arrived in korea regardless of their will, with socialization already in the country where they were born, it is a reality that various difficulties are experienced in the socialization of korea society about language, education, emotion and employment. For this reason, some of the migrant background youths are pointed out as a big problem of the multicultural society, which is 18% of the NEET(Not in Education, Employment or Training) classes, which are not educated and are not willing to find jobs or employment. Therefore, in this study, we identified the problems of middle-admitted children of multicultural families as the number of middle-admitted adolescents increased, and suggested the necessary ways for them to achieve rapid socialization and settlement in korea society. For this purpose, we analyzed the problem of education of middle-admitted children as a discriminative approach which is different from general support method for middle-admitted children presented in previous reaearch, since then, we have presented an alternative to carry out realistic, systematic and successful education considering the characteristics of the region centered on the middle-admitted youths of Gwangju city.

스포츠 재활 교육이 심리적 반발을 통해 진로 및 취업 의지에 미치는 영향 (The impact of sports rehabilitation education on career and employment will through psychological resistance)

  • 한국의 교육 생태계로 인해 성적에 따라 스포츠 재활 전공에 진학한 학생들이 학과에 적응하고, 진로를 찾고, 취업 의지를 갖도록 동기 부여 등 새로운 균형을 모색해야 하는 중대한 시점이나 관련 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 스포츠 재활 교육이 심리적 반발을 통해 진로 및 취업 의지에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 연구 방법으로 스포츠 재활을 전공하는 대학생을 대상으로 2023년 12월 11일부터 12월 28일까지 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종 212부의 설문지가 회수되어 분석에 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 스포츠 재활 교육자의 지식이 자발적 심리에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스포츠 재활 교육자의 역량이 자발적 심리에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠 재활 교육자의 역량이 비자발적 심리에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자발적 심리가 진로 의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯 번째, 자발적 심리가 취업 의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 반대로 비자발적 심리가 취업 의지에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 심리적 반발을 통해 진로 및 취업 의지에 영향을 줄 수 있는 전공 교육 개발에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업 취업 가능성 및 관련 직업 특성 탐색 (The Possibility and Occupational Characteristics that Humanities College Graduates are Employed in a Science and Engineering Field Occupations)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 이공계 현직자가 인식하는 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로 취업 가능성을 탐색하고, 이에 대한 직업 특성의 관련성을 파악하는 데 있었다. 이를 위하여 '맞춤형 취업지원을 위한 직업지표 연구(2017)'에서 이공계 현직자 2,600명이 응답한 데이터를 활용하여 기초통계분석, 상관분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로 취업 가능성은 정보통신 및 제조 가공 분야의 일부 직업을 제외하고는 낮은 수준이었다. 둘째, 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로 취업 가능성에 영향을 미치는 직업의 특성은 입직 시 학력의 중요성이 낮고, 전공의 중요성이 낮고, 자격증의 중요성이 낮고, 직업훈련의 중요성은 높으며, 경력단절 이후 복귀가 용이하고, 양성평등 수준이 높으며, 근무 환경이 쾌적하고, 고용 유지도가 높으며, 자영업으로 수행하기에 적합하고, 일자리 수가 증가 등의 모습을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 인문계 대졸자의 취업을 지원하기 위한 직업적인 측면의 방안으로 세부 직업 분야와 특성을 감안한 정책 설계 접근, 인문계 전공자의 강점을 살릴 수 있는 세부 직업의 발굴과 융합 직업의 개발 등을 제언하였다. 이 때 이 연구에서 밝힌 인문계 대졸자의 이공계 직업으로의 취업 가능성과 직업 특성 요인들의 관련성에 대한 정보가 유용하게 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.

고용.소득관련 변수와 경제적 불안에 따른 주부의 재무관리행동 (The Differences in Wives' Financial Management Behavior according to Variables Related Employment and Income, and Perceived Economic Instability)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in wives' financial management behavior according to variables related employment and income, and perceived economic instability of household. Financial management behaviors were constructed with 4 sub dimensions : investment, income expenditure, risk, and debt management behavior. The subjects of this study were 225 wives. Factor analysis and MANOVA were performed for data analysis. The results of this study were as follows : First, there were signigicant differences in financial management behavior according to variables related employment, i. e. employment state of wives and husbands. Second, there were signigicant differences in financial management behavior according to variables related income, i. e. monthly income, additional income, income stability. Third, there were signigicant differences in financial management behavior according to perceived economic instability of urban household.

중등과학교사 임용시험의 개선을 위한 조사 연구 (A Study on the Employment Test for the Secondary School Science Teachers)

  • A survey has been conducted on the employment test for the secondary school science teachers. The questionnaires were answered by 118 applicants who took the employment test of 1992. The adequacy of the employment test was analyzed in such categories as the evaluation weight of subjects, the length of time for the test, the number of questions, the contents and level of questions, the materials used for preparing for the test, etc. Based upon the results, several problems were pointed out and suggestions were made for the improvement of the test.

Education and Professional Development of Mathematics Teachers in Korea

  • It is undeniable that teachers play the principal roles in education. This is why education and professional development of teachers are so important. Some of recent works have made this fact clearer. In America, in particular, many reports and research papers have recently been published on these problems. In this paper, we first introduce briefly the current system of education, employment, and professional development of mathematics teachers in Korea. And then we mention a research project on education of mathematics teachers. The final report of the project contains some suggestions for curriculums of the department for education of mathematics teachers. We describe one example of extended syllabus which implements those suggestions. The example is on Modern Algebra I.

청년 일자리 창출을 위한 웹툰전문가 양성 과정 사례연구 -중요도와 성취도 분석을 중심으로 (Case study of webtoon specialist education course for creating youth jobs - focusing on importance and achievement factor)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 청년 일자리 창출을 위한 교육과정인 청년취업아카데미 '웹툰전문가 양성 과정(상명대학교 수행)'에 참여한 수강생들을 대상으로 중요도-성취도 분석을 통해 수강생들의 만족도를 제고하고 향후 문화콘텐츠 분야 청년 일자리 창출을 위한 웹툰 전문가 양성과정 개설 활성화를 위해 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. '웹툰전문가 양성 과성'에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육 대상자들은 교과내용과 강사에 대해 중요하게 생각하고 있으며, 만족도도 높다. 둘째, 시설에 대해 중요하게 생각하고 있으나 만족도는 낮아 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소통에 대해 중요하게 생각하지 않고 있으나 만족하였으며. 소통이 잘 되었음을 보여주었다. 넷째, 취업률의 경우 중요하게 생각하고 있지 않고, 만족도 또한 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 대상자가 대부분 2~3학년이고, 웹툰 분야의 특성상 조직으로의 취업보다는 1인 작가 창업의 경우가 많으며, 대학교 2~3학년의 재학생을 대상으로 하는 과정 특성상 취업에 대한 중요도와 만족도는 낮은 것으로 보인다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 청년 일자리 창출을 위한 '웹툰전문가 양성 과정'에 대한 만족도를 높이고 활성화 방안을 위한 운영상의 시사점과 교육전략 수립 시 유용한 정보를 제시하였다.

도시가계의 경제적불안정성 유형에 따른 재무관리행동 (The Financial Management Behavior by the Types of Economic Instability in the Urban Households)

  • Households have experienced economic instability since Korea economic crisis in 1997. This study attempts to explore the financial management behavior by the types of economic instability classified considering the two aspects of the employment and the income instability of the households. The specific objectives of this study are : 1) to classify households’economic instability in terms of employment and income instability. 2) to examine whether the financial management behavior is different between households experiencing the different types of the economic instability. The sample consisted of 792 married women living in Seoul. The statistical methods used for analysis included Reliability, Frequencies, Percent, Mean, Standard Deviation, Analysis of Covariance, one-way Anova, DMR-test. The major results can be summarized as following : 1) The economic instability experienced by houeholds can be classified into the 4 types employment-income instability, employment instability income stability, employment stability$.$income instability, and employment$.$income stability. 2) There are statistically significant differences in the levels of financial management behavior between households having the different types of economoc instability. The results of this study could be needed for development of the employment policies and the financial education programs.
