소규모 사업장 근로자와 사업주의 보건관리 기술지원사업에 대한 인식도 조사 연구 (Employees' and Employers' Awareness of Occupational Health Program in SSE)

  • The study was conducted to analyze employees' and employers' awareness of occupational health programs for the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the program employed in small-scale enterprises (SSE). The 400 SSE that have under 50 employees and have been supported by the Government were selected for mail survey, and 120 employers and 318 employees of 183 factories returned the questionnaires. The results are as follows; 1) 33.8% of employees were not aware of the fact that their factories have been supported by Government, and 69.1% of employees did not know who was the monitor of that program. Only 147% of employees and 35.5% of employers agreed that the supported program reflected their opinions well. 2) 45.1% of employees participated in health education classes more than once. But only 15.6% of them considered the classes as very helpful. 21.1% of employers were much aware of health education schedule, and 44.2% reported that it was helpful for the prevention of occupational diseases. 3) 68.8% of employers were aware of the possibility of occupational diseases that could occur in their factories. And 36.5% of employers reported that some criteria were used for job reallocation to their employees. But only 9.7% of employees were assigned new job based on the result of health status examination. 4) 65.6% of employees were aware of the periodic evaluation for work environment, and 43.3% knew the evaluation results. Among participated SSE, 5.9% have a planning department for improving work environment, and 46.2% actually carried out the program for improving work environment. The findings showed that the employers and employees of SSE had insufficient knowledge of the occupational health program that have been employed in their workplace. It is essential to lead more active participation of employers and employees in their occupational health programs so as that the programs are to improve their health status as well as work environment more effectively.

  • Awareness about health is still in short supply, sufficient research and investment is falling mothayeo made, the development of image and health technology for health compared to productivity enhancement technology behind the relative reality. Through the analysis and study of special measures and health education in the country catering to propose measures and methods for this. Current analyzed and summarized to find a special health and safety training relevant provisions appear in the national legislation. By analyzing the characteristics and to leverage to workers unearthed an in-depth awareness and issues for the institutions and laws. Survey research methods to analyze the documents and government publications and research through an Internet search. Survey Research conducted a self - survey on new knowledge and attitude toward the concessionaires to sanitation target, the attitude of the sanitary administration, attitudes to hygiene education and hygiene practice Conditions received health education carried out by catering Federation regularly. Health education is a systematic settlement system for the external reality of professional education. Health and health administrators to establish an organizational structure strengthening phase. Employers and health care workers are raising awareness. Employers have a responsibility to prevent industrial accidents. Consequently, special health education targeted construction workers changed to fit the content-driven information on the species and the proper arrangement of time "based health education" currently being conducted.

프레스 보유 사업장에서 재해 발생 사업장과 무재해 사업장의 안전관리 시스템 비교 (A Comparison of Safety Management System between Accident-occurred Companies and Accident-free Companies in which Press Machine are Used)

  • Notorious press machine bothers employers by causing so many industrial accidents which are mostly of caught-in or between type. In 2008, press machines caused 1665 cases of such type of accidents, which reached about 11% of all those. Even though various approaches has been adopted to prevent those press machine accidents, up to now, no one was found to be satisfactory. In this study, two kinds of companies, accident-occurred and accident-free by press machine, were surveyed to find out positive and negative factors for accidents prevention. 400 companies which experienced accidents in 2008 and 200 companies which did not experience accident at all during the same period were selected for this survey. Most of these companies are small companies that employ less than 50 employees. Even though small companies are exempted from legal obligations to have a safety management system for accident prevention, we surveyed about safety management systems of those companies because of its crucial importance for accident prevention including whether they appointed safety managers and various supervisors. Awareness and efforts for safety of employers and employees were also measured. Results were analysed by the method of cross tabulation analysis. Main findings of this study are as follows. Most accident-occurred companies did not appoint any safety manager or supervisor. While it is recommended that the workplace of high accident rate have a safety manager. In addition, as less employers' effort for safety was made in accident-occurred companies in order to prevent accidents during press processing, the author proposes an amendment to the relevant law. Finally, the most referred reason for the negligence of hazard is the cumbersomeness in installing safeguards.

산업장 건강증진 사업의 이론과 실제 (The Theory and Application of Health Promotion Program at Work Sites)

  • This study reviewed the, reference of health promotion program and investigated the status of health promotion program at work sites in U.S.A. Good health promotion program is essential for both employees and employers to reduce morbidity rate, to promote productivity and to enhance quality of life and so on. Health promotion aimed at modifying unhealthy life-styles by building awareness, knowledge, skills, and interpersonal support. And health promotion cycle is resemblance to the plan-do-check-act. The major contents of this study are briefed following as : 1) Links between life-style, environment, and health 2) Effect of work sites health promotion effort 3) Prevalence and contents of work site health promotion programs 4) Health promotion process 5) Program framework and structure 6) Stages in the health promotion cycle 7) Approaches for modifying organizational stressors In addition this, the survey was conducted to aim diagnosing the status of health promotion p개gram in work sites in Korea. The main finding-outs are summarized as follows: 1) In 4 large size work sites, there are working with 1 doctor in all work sites, 1 nurse per 3,000 employees and other health related professionals. They have clinic office(4 work sites), gymnasium(2 work sites), and other many facilities like physical therapy center. And only one company have a wellness clinic center. All employees use to exercise health gymnastics in terms of 5 minutes regularly 2 times in a day. 2) In 4 middle size work sites, there are no doctor, 1 nurse and 1 nutritionist in all work sites. They have also clinic, physical therapy center(1 work site), and all employees exercise health gymnastics regularly 2 times in a day too.

유해환경 근무 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향 - 음주의 매개효과와 주관적 건강의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Exposure to Hazardous Workplace Environment on Depression - Focusing on Mediating Effects of Drinking and Moderating Effects of Subjective Health Status-)

  • Objectives: The working environment affects employees' physical and mental aspects, and has a deep associations with depression. The purposes of this study are to investigate how hazardous environment working experience impacts on depression, to provide rationale and practical implications for reducing depression and drinking. Methods: This study targeted 215 dental hygiene students from 3 universities located in Gyeonggi-do from November 30 to December 4, 2015. We analyzed the data with frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test. One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, Regression analysis by using SPSS. Results: This study showed that experience working in hazardous environments increased depression and alcohol drinking, on the other hand alcohol drinking reduced depression. In addition, experience working in hazardous environments effected on depression indirectly through mediating of drinking, subjective health had not role of Moderating Effects between experience working in hazardous environments and depression. Conclusions: In order to reduce workers' depression and alcohol, the improvements of harmful environment are needed. For this governments and local governments should efforts to support enhancing workplace environment, to develop model of standard work environment, and to change employers' awareness on the harmful environment.

Evaluation of Respiratory Protection Program in Petrochemical Industries: Application of Analytic Hierarchy Process

  • Background: Respiratory protection equipment (RPE) is the last resort to control exposure to workplace air pollutants. A comprehensive respiratory protection program (RPP) ensures that RPE is selected, used, and cared properly. Therefore, RPP must be well integrated into the occupational health and safety requirements. In this study, we evaluated the implementation of RPP in Iranian petrochemical industries to identify the required solutions to improve the current status of respiratory protection. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted among 24 petrochemical industries in Iran. The survey instrument was a checklist extracted from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration respiratory protection standard. An index, Respiratory Protection Program Index (RPPI), was developed and weighted by analytic hierarchy process to determine the compliance rate (CR) of provided respiratory protection measures with the RPP standard. Data analysis was performed using Excel 2010. Results: The most important element of RPP, according to experts, was respiratory hazard evaluation. The average value of RPPI in the petrochemical plants was $49{\pm}15%$. The highest and lowest of CR among RPP elements were RPE selection and medical evaluation, respectively. Conclusion: None of studied petrochemical industries implemented RPP completely. This can lead to employees' overexposure to hazardous workplace air contaminants. Increasing awareness of employees and employers through training is suggested by this study to improve such conditions.

부모의 직장보육시설만족도가 양육스트레스, 직무몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Satisfaction with Workplace Child-Care on the Parenting Stress, Job Commitment, and Job Satisfaction of Parents)

  • 본 연구는 직장보육시설에 대한 부모의 만족도가 양육스트레스와 직무몰입, 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 규명함으로써 직장보육시설의 양적 확충 및 질적 향상을 도모하는데 필요한 실증적 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 경기도에 소재한 직장보육시설 중 민간기업 6곳과 공공기관 4곳의 학부모를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 설문지는 총 373부를 배부하여 185부(부 97명, 모 88명)를 최종 분석자료로 사용하였다. 본 연구결과, 부모들은 직장보육시설에 대해 대체로 만족하고 있으며 양육스트레스는 대체로 낮았다. 직무몰입과 직무만족은 중간 이상의 수준으로 나타났다. 상관분석 결과, 직장보육시설만족도가 높을수록 양육스트레스가 낮아졌으며, 직장보육시설만족도가 높을수록 직무몰입과 직무만족이 높아졌다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 직장보육시설만족도의 5개 하위영역 중 보육환경에 대한 만족이 양육스트레스에 상대적으로 가장 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 직무몰입과 직무만족에 대해서는 보육시설 운영에 대한 만족이 상대적으로 가장 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 취업부모의 양육스트레스를 낮추고 직무몰입과 직무만족을 높이기 위해 고용주를 대상으로 직장보육시설의 중요성을 인식시키는 교육프로그램의 실시가 필요함을 제안하였다.

기업의 규모와 산업이 장애인 고용률에 미치는 영향 -장애인 1인 이상 의무고용기업체를 중심으로- (The Effects of Enterprise Size and Industry on the Employment Rate of People with Disabilities -Focusing on the Enterprises with Disability Employment Obligation That Hire at Least One Person with Disabilities-)

  • 연구는 기업 규모가 클수록 장애인 고용률이 하락한다는 장애인 고용계의 상식을 상세히 재검토한다. 이러한 상식은 기업 규모와 산업 유형의 교호작용에 대한 고려 없이, 통상적인 다중회귀분석을 통해 형성되었다. 이 연구는 기업규모별 장애인 고용률이 통상적 회귀분석의 가정인 자료의 선형성과 등분산성을 위반한다는 사실을 밝힌 후, 일반 선형회귀모형, 가중회귀모형, 다항로짓모형을 사용하여 자료를 설명하는 데 적합한 모형을 찾고자 했다. 또한 경로모형 분석을 통해 고용률에 대한 기업 규모의 직간접적 효과가 산업별로 어떻게 나타나는지도 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 기업 규모와 산업 유형의 교호작용을 모형에 추가할 경우, 상시근로자 100인 이상의 기업에 대해 규모는 장애인 고용률에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 업무 환경, 장애인 고용으로 인한 도움, 장애에 대한 배려, 제도/정책에 대한 인지와 같은 요인들이 기업의 규모보다 더 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 향후의 장애인 고용 연구와 정책 이행에서는 기업의 규모 못지않게 산업 및 방금 열거한 요인들에 더 많은 주의를 기울여야 한다.

조선업 중대재해 분석을 통한 조선업 안전교육 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Safety Training of Shipbuilding Industry by Analysis of Serious Accidents in Shipbuilding Industry)

  • 우리 조선업은 기술적인 분야에서 세계를 선도하는 역할을 수행하고 있으나 조선업에서는 매년 2,000여명의 재해자가 발생하고 있으며, 이중 약 40명은 사망하고 있는 등 근로자의 안전측면에서도 과연 우리 조선업이 세계적인 수준인지는 의문이 들 수밖에 없다. 따라서 이 연구는 국내 조선업에서 2006년~2015년 동안 발생한 중대재해의 통계자료를 고찰하여 조선업 중대재해의 발생현황 및 원인을 분석하고, 조선업 근로자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 산업현장에서의 안전교육 형태를 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 조선업 안전교육의 문제점을 도출하여 개선방안을 마련하였다. 첫째, 조선소별로 수행하는 안전교육의 종류 및 수준이 상이하거나 교육품질이 미흡한 문제점을 해결하고 체계적으로 교육과정을 운영하기 위해서 조선업 안전훈련 표준체계의 마련이 필요하다. 둘째, 조선업 안전훈련 표준체계를 바탕으로 조선업에 특화된 안전교육과정을 지속적으로 개발하고 표준화하여 조선업 중대재해를 감소시키고 근로자의 안전의식을 향상시킬 필요가 있다. 셋째, 조선업에서의 중대재해를 예방하여 근로자의 안전을 확보하기 위해서는 사업주와 근로자 모두가 적극적으로 안전교육을 수행하고 참여하여 사업장의 안전문화를 형성할 필요가 있다.

고객관계관리 시스템의 수준이 BSC 관점에서의 기업성과에 미치는 영향 : 제약회사를 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on the Effect of CRM System on the Performance of Pharmaceutical Companies)

  • 오늘날 치열한 경쟁과 환경변화로 인해 많은 기업들은 고객관계관리(Customer Relationship Management, 이하 CRM)를 경영혁신의 도구로 인식하고 많은 투자 및 노력을 기울이고 있다. CRM 시스템의 개선 및 전략적 보완을 위한 지속적 노력과 더불어 이에 대한 이론적 연구가 활발하게 실시되었지만, 시스템 도입이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증연구는 포괄적으로 다루어지지 않았다. 최근 국내 금융업, 호텔, 항공 등의 분야에서 고객관계관리 도입으로 인한 기업성과에 대한 실증연구가 실시되었고, 외국에서는 병원관리학을 중심으로 균형성과표의 활용에 대한 연구가 실시되었지만, 국내 제약산업에 대해서는 이러한 연구들이 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제약회사 고객관리 시스템의 수준이 Kaplan and Norton에 의해 제안된 균형성과표의 이론적 틀에 따라 기업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 연구해 보고자 하였다. 실증분석결과, CRM 시스템 수준은 기업성과에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 시스템이 제공하는 유용한 분석자료들이 고객유지, 고객만족 및 고객수익성 개선에 유의적인 영향을 주어 결과적으로 기업의 수익성, 성장성 및 주주가치 증대에 폭 넓게 기여하며, 효율적 내부 프로세스로 뒷받침되는 바람직한 선순환구조를 제시하고 있다고 생각된다. 그러나 세부분석결과, 영업사원실적평가 시스템은 단기수익성 증대에만 유의적 영향을 주었고, 고객 분석시스템은 기업성과에 미치는 유의성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 제약회사 구성원들의 전통적 업무방식 고수, 단기목표 지향성 및 장기적 기업성과지표에 대한 인식 부족에서 기인한다고 생각된다. 연구결과, 제약기업에 보다 적합한 CRM 시스템의 개발과 보완, 인식률과 활용도 제고의 필요성이 제안되며, 표본 확대 및 대표성 개선을 통해 보다 의미 있는 연구결과가 제시될 수 있을 것이다.
