This study aims to empirically verify the impacts of career learning on employability and the mediating effect of job expertise in a public corporation. For the empirical analysis, I surveyed 958 employees(valid respondents) working in a public corporation. And the structural equation modeling(SEM) was used to statistically analize and test the research hypotheses. The independent variable is 'career learning', the dependent variable is 'employability' and the mediating variable is 'job expertise'. The results are as follows. The empirical analysis shows that the positive effects of 'career learning ${\rightarrow}$ job expertise', 'job expertise ${\rightarrow}$ employability' and 'career learning ${\rightarrow}$ employability' are all verified. And the mediating effect of job expertise between career learning and employability is also partially verified. So, all the proposed hypotheses are accepted. From this result, I can clearly suggest that the employees can be growing to professionals with high employability when they retire if they are voluntarily and self-motivated to set up their career plan and to enhance their job expertise. In this context, it is expected that the company should support the employees to continue to strengthen their own expertise in their job place through their mid-long term career learning plan.

Employability is a critical issue in construction education. Employability is more than students obtaining employment upon graduation. The concept is far more ranging, and should encompass enabling students to acquire the knowledge, personal and professional skills and encouraging attitudes that will support their future development and employment. This paper describes two case studies relating to how the true concept of employability can be incorporated into the construction higher education curriculum. Case study 1 was a collaborative venture with contributions from a higher education provider, employers, students and a professional body (Association of Building Engineers). It outlines the whole process from course inception through to graduation and feedback. Thus it presents a valid model for other higher education providers of construction courses to adapt or adopt. Case study 2 outlines how the opportunity of a degree programme revalidation process was utilized to introduce modules which would enhance students' employability on graduation.

This study introduces strengths theory, a core subject of career development and job-getting, and discusses about the factors of strengths(namely talents, knowledge and skills), the processes of strengths personalization, and generating employability. It searches for opportunities to apply the concept of employability to the field of Library and Information Science now thrown under hard pressure from information and communication technology. Employability is defined here as competence to make oneself employable as needed by discovering or creating work opportunities using one's own tested personalized strengths. Employability is a package of systematically organized information about the essential abilities and productive personalities of a person, and it is essential to be duly cognitive of one's employability if one seriously intends to succeed in jobs and career. Since generation of employability heavily involves complex processes of information and knowledge-making, expertise from LIS, particularly from areas of personal information management(PIM) and personal knowledge management(PKM), is expected to help for process facilitation.
This study was designed to verify that the positive relationship between career management behavior and turnover intention is mediated by employability. Futhermore, investigation whether work-life balance and communication climate moderate this relationship was also the purpose of this study. The results from 300 office workers younger than 34 that (1) employability mediated the relationship between career management behavior and turnover intention, (2) the moderating effect of work-life balance about mediating effect of employability was not statistically significant, but when the level of work-life balance was high, the relationship between employability and turnover intention was reinforced, (3) the moderating effect of communication climate against mediating effect of employability was not statistically significant, and the moderating effect of communication climate between employability and turnover intention was also not found. Based on this non-intuitive results, researcher offered new interpretation which can be acquired from rejections of hypotheses, implications, limitations, and the proposal for future research.
As the employment situation has become increasingly severe in recent years, the employment pressure has become intense. How to improve the employability of university students has become the focus of public attention. This study aims to investigate that hope moderates the mediating role of entrepreneurship education in the relationship between career exploration and employability. The purposive sampling method was applied to the sampling of the survey subjects from Guangdong Province, China. A total of 346 questionnaires on career exploration, hope, entrepreneurship education and employability were collected and analyzed. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Mac ver. 26.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The statistical methods applied were frequency analysis, corelation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, career exploration had a significant positive correlation with entrepreneurship education, hope and employability. Second, hope showed the moderated mediation effect on the mediating role of entrepreneurship education in the relationship between career exploration and employability. This study suggesed a plan to utilize career exploration, entrepreneurship education and hope to increase college students' employability.

Employability has recently become the first target of the national higher education. Its model has been updated to catch the new trend of Industry 4.0. This paper aims at analyzing and ranking the determinants of undergraduate employability, focusing on business and economics majors in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In-depth interviews with content analysis have been primarily conducted to reach an agreement on a key group of factors: human capital, social capital, and identity. The Stochastic Fractal Search Algorithm (SFSA) is then applied to rank the sub-factors. Human capital is composed of three major elements: attitude, skill, and knowledge. Social capital is approached at both structural and cognitive aspects with three typical types: bonding, bridging, and linking. The analysis has confirmed the change of priority in employability determinants. Human capital is still a driver but the priority of attitude has been confirmed in the contemporary context. Then, social capital with the important order of linking, bridging, and bonding is emphasized. Skill, knowledge, and identity share the least weight in the model. It is noted that identity is newly proposed in the model but a certain role has been found. The findings are crucial for education strategies to enhance university graduate employability.

This paper empirically analyzed whether or not professional college students' Protean career attitudes affect entrepreneurial intention through employability and entrepreneurship, and whether or not they have practical training experiences can make a difference in such influence. For this reason, a questionnaire survey was conducted on about 240 students at specialized universities in Seoul and the Gyeonggi province for one month beginning on June 1, 2018. Of the 220 collected questionnaires, 214 parts in total were selected for final analysis, except for the 6 parts of the answer sheet which were not sure if there was a missing value or not. The main findings are as follows. First, it has been confirmed that the professional career attitude of Protean has influenced employability and entrepreneurial intention, but has not directly influenced entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, it has been confirmed that the employability and entrepreneurship have have a positive influence on the entrepreneurial intention. Thirdly, it has been confirmed that employability and entrepreneurship play a role as a fully mediated role in the relationship between the attitude of the Protean career and the entrepreneurial intention. Fourthly, considering the characteristics of the vocational college, there is no difference in the influence of employability and entrepreneurship on the entrepreneurial intentions, but the influence of the protean career attitude on employability and entrepreneuriship was different depending on whether or not they had the practical training experiences. This study is to analyze the relationship between the protean career attitude and the entrepreneurial intention in the aspect of employment and entrepreneurial activation of young people.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of coaching leadership on the employability of organizational members and to investigate the mediating effect of protean career attitude and the moderating effect of leader trust. A questionnaire was conducted on domestic office workers, and analysis was conducted using AMOS and Process macro (Hayes, 2013) based on the effective questionnaire of 389 people. As a result of the study, first, the direct effect between coaching leadership and employee employability was significant. Second, it was confirmed that the mediating effect of coaching leadership strengthening the protean career attitude of members and improving employability through this was significant. Third, the moderating effect of leader trust was confirmed in the relationship between coaching leadership and protean career attitude. Fourth, the moderated mediating effect of coaching leadership on employability through protean career attitude was reinforced by leader trust was confirmed. This study contributes to the expansion of leadership research by empirically identifying the mechanism between coaching leadership and employability of organizational members, which has been lacking in research. In addition, theoretical and practical implications of the research results, limitations of the research, and directions for future research were presented.

The COVID-19 pandemic is having an adverse impact on Bangladesh's economy by affecting millions of people's life and hampering their income sources. The outbreak of COVID-19 has created more pressure on the labor market. The pandemic reduces employment opportunities as most of the companies have stopped their recruitment process to cut their operational costs, which increases the rate of graduate unemployment in Bangladesh. Hence, this study aims to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on graduate employability in Bangladesh that adversely affects the income of families and eventually the nation's economy. A literature review has been conducted from secondary sources to evaluate the impact, which shows that the rate of graduate unemployment increased from 47% to 58% in 2020 with an expected annual loss estimated at $53 million. Findings also reveal that the prime reasons for graduate employability are low demand and huge supply of graduates in the labor market, lack of professional skills of graduates, ineffective education system, etc. The study suggests that the government of Bangladesh should develop some policies to overcome this problem such as ensuring employment subsidies, implementing skills development programs, improving labor market flexibility, initiating credit programs for generating employment, and developing entrepreneurial ecosystems in Bangladesh.
