어린이집 교사의 정서노동과 소진 간 관계에서 행복플로리시의 조절 및 매개효과 (The Effects of Emotional Labor on Burnout: The Moderating and Mediating Effects of Flourishing in Child Care Teachers)

  • Objective: This study investigated the moderating and mediating effects of flourishing among child-care teacher's emotional labor and burnout. Methods: The participants included 243 child-care teachers in daycare centers in Jeju. To verify moderating effect of flourishing in relation between surface acting and burnout, 2-way ANOVA was used. To verify mediating effect of flourishing in relation between deep acting and burnout, the hierarchical regression and bootstrapping analyses were used. Results: First, the surface acting of emotional labors showed significantly positive effect with burnout and the deep acting of emotional labors shows significantly negative effect with burnout. And the surface acting of emotional labors shows significantly negative effect with flourishing and the deep acting of emotional labors shows significantly positive effect with flourishing. Also the flourishing shows significantly negative effect with burnout. Second, it was revealed that the flourishing plays a role as moderator in relation between surface acting and burnout. Finally, it was revealed that the flourishing plays a role as mediator in relation between deeping acting and burnout. Conclusion: This study illustrates that flourishing acts as differently in relation to emotional labor (surface acting/deep acting) and burnout.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to explain in detail the factors of the father's play interaction that predict children's adaptive emotional regulation. This study examined the moderated mediation effect of a father's rough-and-tough play toward a child's emotional expressiveness and the father's play participation attitude on the child's adaptive emotional regulation. Methods: The study participants included 309 fathers of children aged from 3 to 5 years. Data were analyzed using models of the PROCESS Macro. Results: As a result of this research, the relationship of the father's rough-and-tough play with the child's adaptive emotional regulation was that this was indeed mediated by the child's negative emotional expressiveness. Additionally, the father's responsive and fun play attitude moderated the relationship between the father's rough-and-tough play and the child's adaptive emotional regulation. Further, the father's responsive and fun play attitude according to level had a moderated mediation effect. Conclusion/Implications: These results are meaningful in that they derives a mechanism for why and how a father's rough-and-tough play affects children's adaptive emotional regulation.

패션 제품 판매원의 감정 노동과 자기효능감 및 탈진감이 고객지향적 판매 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Fashion Product Salesperson's Emotional Labor, Self-Efficacy and Burnout on Customer-Oriented Selling Behavior)

  • The purposes of this study were to extract the effects of emotional labor, self-efficacy and burnout on customer-oriented selling behavior of salesperson by literature review and to examine the effect variables on customer-oriented selling behavior empirically. The questionnaire was administered to 400 salespersons who were selling clothes, cosmetics, shoes, leather products and accessories in department stores located in Kwang-ju city during August 18-24, 2006. Data collected from 307 salespersons were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan-test, correlation, regression analysis and path analysis. The results were as follows: First, Salesperson's emotional labor was composed of two factors; emotional labor toward the customer and emotional labor toward the organization. Second, Salesperson's emotional labor had negative significant influence on customer-oriented selling behavior. Specifically, the emotional labor toward the organization negatively influenced on customer-oriented selling behavior, but the emotional labor toward the customer positively influenced on customer-oriented selling behavior. Third, Salesperson's emotional labor positively influenced on burnout. Specifically, emotional labor toward organization significantly influenced on burnout, but emotional labor toward customer did not influenced on burnout. Fourth, Salesperson's self-efficacy positively influenced on customer-oriented selling behavior. Fifth. Salesperson's self-efficacy negatively influenced on burnout. Finally, Salesperson's burnout negatively influenced on comer-oriented selling behavior. The direct effect of salesperson's self-efficacy on customer-oriented selling behavior was large than the indirect effect of salesperson's self-efficacy mediate burnout. But the indirect effect of salesperson's emotional labor mediate burnout was large than the direct effect of salesperson's emotional labor on customer- oriented selling behavior.

유아의 정서지능과 사회적 유능성의 관계에서 유아-교사 관계의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Child-Teacher Relationships on the Relationship of Preschooler's Emotional Intelligence and Social Competence)

  • This study examined the effect of preschooler's emotional intelligence, child-teacher relationships (intimacy, conflict and dependency) on children's social competence. A sample of 269 children (142 boys and 127 girls) aged 3 to 6 in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do participated in the Emotional Intelligence Scale, the Child-Teacher Relationships Scale and Social Competence Scale by teachers. Descriptive statistics, t -test, Pearson's correlation analysis and regression analysis analyzed data via SPSS ver. 20.0. This study followed a mediated effect model. The results showed that: (1) The emotional intelligence of girls was significantly higher than boys. However, the child-teacher relationship and children's social competence had no significant difference relationship to gender. (2) There was a mediating effect of child-teacher relationships between preschooler's emotional intelligence and social competence. The effect of emotional intelligence on social competence was partially mediated by intimate relationship, conflict relationship and dependency relationship. The degree of mediating effect was investigated in regards to conflict relationship, dependency relationship and intimate relationship. This study demonstrated that child-teacher relationships mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and social competence of preschoolers.

Visual Perception Characteristics of Surface Unevenness - Focused on Orange Peel Effect -

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify visual perception of and satisfaction with the orange peel effect of surface. The orange peel effect is a type of finish on painted or coated surface. Background: Gloss paint sprayed on a smooth surface (such as car body, smart phone, and electric home appliances, etc.) should also dry into a smooth surface. Then, a surface resembling the texture of an orange peel can be caused by some factors. The orange peel effect can degrade user's satisfaction with a product. Method: Visual perception and emotional satisfaction were subjectively evaluated using Likert scale. The significance of orange peel effect on visual perception and satisfaction were then analyzed by the analysis of variance. The correlation between visual perception and satisfaction was also analyzed. Results: Surface roughness significantly influenced visual perception and emotional satisfaction. The level of visual perception increased and emotional satisfaction decreased with the increase of orange peel effect. Emotional satisfaction decreased with the increase of visual perception level. Conclusion: It was identified that orange peel phenomenon on surface was a very important factor for emotional satisfaction. The orange peel effect on the surface of a product should be minimized to improve the emotional satisfaction of the product. Application: The result of this study can be applied to the texture design of the body of a car, smart phones, and electric home appliances, etc.

감정노동과 상사의 감성지능이 간호사의 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the effect of emotional labor and leader's emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and organizational commitment for nurses)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of nurses' emotional labor and the importance of leaders' emotional intelligence roles by verifying them with job satisfaction and organizational commitment for 396 nurses at 8 university hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. It was found that emotional labor had a negative relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. And leaders' emotional intelligence has a significant positive relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. However, leaders' emotional intelligence has no moderation effect on emotional labor and dependent variables. As this study shows that emotional labor and leader's emotional intelligence affect organizational effectiveness of hospital nurses, it would be important to not only manage members' emotional labor but to also develop the emotional intelligence of both leaders and the staff.

간호대학생의 아동기 정서적 외상과 우울의 관계에서 대인관계능력의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Interpersonal Skills on the Relationship between Childhood Emotional Trauma and Depression in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the moderating effect of interpersonal skills on the relationship between childhood emotional trauma and depression. Methods: From June to July, 2017, a convenience sample of 226 nursing students was recruited. Research data were collected through self-report questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 22.0. Results: 68.1% (154) respondents experienced emotional abuse, and 48.1% (110) emotional neglect in childhood emotional trauma. The average depression score was 10.76. There were 54.4% (123), 34.5% (78), 12.8% (29), and 7.1% (16) of respondents with mild, moderate, and severe depression, respectively. The average interpersonal skills score was 3.59. There was a significant correlation between childhood emotional trauma (emotional abuse, emotional neglect), interpersonal skills and depression. And the moderating effect of interpersonal skills on the relationship between childhood emotional neglect and depression was significant. Conclusion: Interpersonal skills play a role as a moderating variable influencing the relationship between emotional neglect of childhood emotional trauma and depression, and also reduce the effects of childhood emotional trauma on depression. When developing a depression prevention program for nursing college students, such programs should consider strategies to reduce the negative effects of childhood emotional trauma and to improve interpersonal skills.

The Differential Effect of Emotional Labour on Boundary Spanners

  • Purpose: The study sought to uncover the effect of emotional labour strategies (surface acting and deep acting) on job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion. The study also purposed to analyse the moderating effect of organisational support (supervisory support and co-worker support) and the role of gender on emotional labour connotations. Research design, data and methodology: A conceptual framework was developed using extant literature which led to the examination of deep acting and surface acting, which are the two main strategies of emotional labour. The outcome variables were emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction. Data was collected from front line employees of banks and was analysed using SEM-AMOS version 21. Results: It was revealed, in this study, that surface acting is inversely related to job satisfaction and positively related to emotional exhaustion, whereas deep acting was positively related to job satisfaction and inversely related to emotional exhaustion. The roles of gender and organisational support were also confirmed. Conclusions: The study therefore concluded that deep acting is the most ideal strategy of emotional labour as it leads to job satisfaction and reduced emotional exhaustion. Surface acting is a harmful emotional labour strategy.

카지노 딜러의 감정노동이 우울에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 조절된 매개모형을 중심으로 (The Effect of Emotional Labor of Casino Dealers on Depression : Through a Moderated Mediation Model)

  • 본 연구는 카지노 딜러의 감정노동과 우울과의 관계에서 적대감의 매개효과와 감정표현불능증의 조절효과가 나타나는 조절된 매개효과가 유의한지 확인하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 서울 소재 외국인 전용 카지노 딜러 160명(남 56명, 여 94명)을 대상으로 감정노동, 감정표현불능증, 적대감, 우울에 관한 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 조절된 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS 22.0의 SPSS Macro를 사용하였다. 분석결과로 첫째, 카지노 딜러의 감정노동의 강도가 높아질수록 우울이 높아지는 모습이 나타났으며, 적대감은 감정노동과 우울을 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조절효과 검증 결과, 감정노동과 감정표현불능증, 적대감과 감정표현불능증이 상호작용하여 우울에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조절된 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 감정노동이 적대감을 통하여 우울에 영향을 미치는 과정을 감정표현불능증이 조절하는 조절된 매개효과가 유의미하였다. 논의에서 본 연구의 의의로 카지노 딜러들의 감정노동을 지원하는 방안에 대한 제언을 기술하였다.

초등학교 영양사의 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Dietitians in Elementary Schools)

  • 본 연구는 본 연구는 영양사의 감성지능이 직무 만족과 조직 몰입에 미치는 영향 요인으로 감성지능과 직무만족, 그리고 조직몰입과의 관계를 파악하기 위해 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, 영양사들의 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 감성지능은 직무만족 및 조직몰입과 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 특히 정서지각과 감성지능이 상관계수가 0.774로 가장 높았으며, 정서관리와 조직몰입이 상관계수가 0.254로 가장 낮았다. 영양사들의 감성지능이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴본 결과로 영양사들은 정서적 사고촉진과 정서관리가 높을수록 직무만족이 높았으며 영양사들은 정서적 사고촉진이 높을수록 조직몰입이 높음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 향후 영양사의 직무 만족과 조직 몰입을 증진시키기 위해 영양사의 감성적 지능관련 요소들의 효과적 조절을 위한 감성지능 증진 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다고 사료된다.
