Furniture in the modern living environment, inclusive the importance of its practical value, is a plastic element of indoor space, and its artistic value also holds an important position. Moreover, emotional design based on the emotional engineering in a structural change of modern society such as urbanization, small family, aging society is proposed as an important keyword in the modern design. Namely, furniture as an component of modern residential space has been advanced as a human-oriented environmental element considering people's emotional and mental value to the functional satisfaction and artistic and emotional satisfaction. Furniture is a living tool that is much contacted to people, which affects highly on people's body and mind. This means that people's volition action can be naturally induced by furniture design, and that furniture can display a role as an active tool of means to make people's interpersonal communication and interchange. Namely, I think furniture design of emotional interchange that understands furniture user's pattern behavior and pattern, and observes furniture form and structure and functionality on users' relationship affecting on people's emotional stability and interpersonal interchange of emotion, as an indispensable element necessary for producing more human and prosperous environment of life.

This study examined the effects of children′s personality traits on children′s emotional intelligence. The Subjects were 1060 5th graders of elementary schools located in four cities of Seoul, Suwon, Daejeon, and Daegu, Korea. The results indicated that girls in general showed more of the positive personality traits and higher emotional intelligence(EI) than boys did. Reflectiveness and sociability among seven personality factors had positive effects on all of the four EI factors. Responsibility factor of personality positively affected "self-regulation and emotion utilization" of both boys and girls, while activity factor had a positive effect on "other-regulation and self-expression". Stability had a possitive effect on "self-regulation and emotion utilization" among girls, whereas superiority had a negative effect on "empathy" among boys.

This study aims to make class lighting that gives classroom to stability and activity. For the purpose, we develop a emotional lighting LED using LED source which is a environment-friendly and the lighting fo the next generation. We composed emotional lighting LED as controller for color conversion, power supply for supplying LED lamp a stable power, PCB board for LED lamp and lamp and case. We developed designed emotional lighting LED and proved that the system works and one can get intended color.

This study starts with the premise that many problematic situations in modern society can seriously damage personal feelings and that this phenomenon can create anxiety in individuals and society. In order to address such anxiety in individuals and society, we would like to propose measures to heal emotions. Accordingly, 270 research trends related to emotions studied from 2005 to 2020 will be analyzed to establish the direction of future research on emotion healing. As a result of analyzing the trends of healing papers, active healing studies have been conducted since 2010, but reading and writing healing through specific academic societies has been the main focus. Theoretical research accounted for a large portion, and emotional research was steadily conducted. Although healing methods are expanding to various topics, they have not been commercialized as specific methods. As a result, we hope that concrete research to heal individual emotions will be expanded and measures to implement a stable future society will be proposed.

This study aims to measure the emotional effects of pet plants, which have become popular in recent years. A questionnaire regarding perceptions of these indoor plants was administered to 78 university students. Thirty of these students took care of two species of pet plants for 90 days, and the emotional effects of this exercise were determined based on the type of words used in their daily records. The questionnaire results showed that the general recognition of emotional effects was low, though awareness of the term "pet plants" was high. However, after gardening for 90 days, participants began to consider their pet plants friends or family members, noting feelings of affection and sympathy in their daily writeups. These participants also experienced positive changes in their emotional well-being, including feelings of joy, hope, relaxation, confidence, and accomplishment. This study argues that pet plants can have positive effects on emotional stability and suggests that their adoption would be beneficial to humanity at large.

Various studies have been conducted from the past to the present because stock price forecasts provide stability in the national economy and huge profits to investors. Recently, there have been many studies that suggest stock price prediction models using various input data such as macroeconomic indicators and emotional analysis. However, since each study was conducted individually, it is difficult to objectively compare each method, and studies on their impact on stock price prediction are still insufficient. In this paper, the effect of input data currently mainly used on the stock price is evaluated through the predicted value of the deep learning model and the error rate of the actual stock price. In addition, unlike most papers in emotional analysis, emotional analysis using the news body was conducted, and a method of supplementing the results of each emotional analysis is proposed through three emotional analysis models. Through experiments predicting Microsoft's revised closing price, the results of emotional analysis were found to be the most important factor in stock price prediction. Especially, when all of input data is used, error rate of ensembled sentiment analysis model is reduced by 58% compared to the baseline.

This study analyzes jow reciprocal relations between the temperament and motivation of managers interact. To know the relationships between achievement motivation and affiliation motivation, this study examines whether or not affiliation-achievement motivation and nonaffiliation-achievement motivation mani- fested in manager group of Jpapn are present in this tested group. Data were obtained by testing 578 male- managers employed in domestic enterprise with Y-G Character and Motivation Test. Structure Vector obtained and applied Canonical Correlation Analysis method is applied as a means to interpret it. From the study, the following results are obtained: First, the affiliation and nonaffiliation-achievement motivation appear in domestic sampled group. Second, the manager with affiliation-achievement motivation is shown to have extroversive character, high-social accommodation, high-emotional stability, whereas the one with nona- ffiliation-achievement motiviation to have introversive character, somewhat low-social accommodation and low- emotional stability. Whether or not these results reappear in the bilingual group remains to be studied further.

This work aims at the design of the artwork for the atrium of a furniture department store. In complying with the request of the building owner I have established the basic concept, 'silence in movement - movement in silence', to design a artwork, which not only can make the various atmospheres in the store to the unique one, but also arrange an emotional stability for the visitors. Most exhibited furnitures are those that demand particular interests from the visitors, and the exhibition scale is enormous. So it is difficult to sustain the continuous inspiration and the emotional stability, and also it is hard to make the store have the consequent image. This problem can be resolved through the installation of the artwork that can evoke the visitor to the abundant sensitive receivability. The materials, which are used tp express the basic concept, are water, concrete, light and aluminium that represent a unified harmony in a contrast each other.

This study was conducted to determine the effects of horticultural therapy on self-esteem of women with hearing impairment. Ten women with hearing impairment registered in the Mokpo Branch of the Korean Association of the Deaf participated in the horticultural therapy programs (HTP) for self-esteem. The self-esteem scale was used to evaluate the effects of the programs and scores were compared to determine the difference before and after the programs. Self-esteem was improved in all 10 subjects, and its mean value increased with statistical significance from 22.5 points before the programs to 29.8 points after the programs. The programs preferred by women with hearing impairment included 'making a centerpiece using scented candles and flowers', 'packing and planting pot spray chrysanthemum', 'making a topiary', 'planting Hedera helix', and 'planting cyclamen'. Therefore, it was suggested that self-esteem of women with hearing impairment were improved by increasing social and family support, emotional stability, positive feedback, and self-expression through horticultural therapy programs.

The aim of this study is to find out the relation-ship between personality and te factors for clothing selection. For the test, 396 high school girl students in Seoul were selected, respectively. The general personality test sheets by Kim Giseok and the questionnaire besed on Park Eunju's study on the factors for clothing selection were given to the sample group. RESULTS : 1. Behavior of clothing selection according to expression of individuality is sign ificantly correlated with ascendancy and sociability at the level of .001, and with emotional stability at .50. 2. Behavior of clothing selection according to utility is significantly correlated with resopnsibility and emotional stability at the level of .01. 3. Behavior of clothing selection according to economy is significantly correlated with ascendancy and self-confidence at the level of .01, and with responsibility and sociablity at .05. 4. Behavior of clothing selection according to modesty is significantly correlated with ascendancy and sociability at level of .001, and with self-confidence at .01. 5. Behavior of clothing selection according to conformity is significantly correlated with ascendancy, emothional stability, and self-confidence at the level of .001, and with sociability at .05.
