형광분석을 이용한 지문방식의 해수중 유기인의 분석 방법 (Development of Analytical Method of Organophosphates in Sea water by Finger Printing Fluorescence Spectroscopy)

  • 해수로 유출되고 있는 유기인제 살충, 살균제의 형광 분석법에 의한 finger print식 분석 방법을 개발하기 위해, 벼 농사에 가장 많이 사용되어지는 Hinosan과 Kitazin을 포함하는 10가지의 표준 용액을 조제하여, 형광 특성을 측정하였다. $220nm\~520nm$ 구간의 흡수 파장을 이용하여, 여기 (excitation)시켜 얻은 형광스펙트럼들을 이차원 평면 위의 형광세기 표시를 등고선 모양으로 표시하였다. 이 contour들은 각 조사된 유기인제에 대해 특징적인 형태로 관찰되었다. 조사된 10가지의 유기인제 농약의 형광 contour들은, 봉우리가 한 개로 된 DDVP를 포함한 8가지의 유기인제와 두 개의 봉우리로 나타난 Ateric을 포함한 두 가지의 유기인제 농약으로 나뉘어진다. 또한 최대 흡수파장의 영역별로 보면, 단일한 봉우리를 보이는 많은 유기인제는 약 280nm에, Ateric을 포함한 두 종류의 유기인제는 260nm에서, 그리고 장파장에서 최대 형광파장을 보여준 Monopho, Thaconyl의 최대 흡수파장은 비교적 장파장쪽으로 치우친 300nm와 340nm인, 다른 유기인제의 최대 형광파장과 서로 겹치지 않는 영역에서 나타났다. 그러나, 280nm에서 최대 흡수파장을 나타내는 유기인제 중에 Kitazin, Locsion, Meta는 약 2nm이하의 근소한 차이를 두고 최대 형광세기를 308nm주변에서 나타내었다. 이러한 그룹의 분별을 위해, HPLC-형광 자료를 이용하면 용리시간 차이에 의한 분리와 identification이 가능했다. 형광 contour가 매우 유사한 Kitazin, Locsion과 Meta를 비교하면, Kitazin은 $16\~20$분 대에 나타나는 peak들이 매우 미약할 뿐 아니라, 용리시간 9.6분에 나타난 현저한 단일 peak가 다른 형광 특성이 비슷한 유기인제인 Locsion이나 Meta와의 구분이 용이하게 해 준다. 그러나, Locsion과 Meta는 chromatogram의 용리시간이나, 세부적인 작은 peak 특징은 다르나, 그 pattern이 유사하여, 분석상 불확실성이 내재될 가능성이 있다.

주거용 화목난로의 대기오염 배출량 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimation of Air Pollutants Emission from Residential Wood Stove)

  • Recently the Korean government has tried to cut down the $PM_{10}$ concentration by the Special Law for Air Quality Improvement. But the concentrations of $PM_{10}$ have exceeded the air quality standard at most monitoring stations. Primary $PM_{10}$ emitted from various sources and emission data have large uncertainty. The biomass burning is one of the major sources of $PM_{10}$ emission. The biomass burning is composed of wood stove usage, meat cooking and agricultural combustion etc.. Activity data and emission factors for the biomass burning are limited, and it is hard to calculate the air pollution emissions from these sources. In this study, we tried to estimate the air pollution emission from residential wood stove usage. The number of total wood stoves is estimated by the survey of wood stove manufacturer. And air pollution emission factors for the wood stove are investigated using the flue gas measurement by U.S. EPA particulate test method (Method 5G). As the results, the $PM_{10}$ and CO emission factors of wood stove are estimated as 7.7 g/kg-wood and 78.8 g/kg-wood respectively. The annual $PM_{10}$ and CO emissions from wood stove are calculated as 1,200~3,600 ton/year and 12,600~36,400 ton/year in Korea. It is confirmed that wood stove is the one of major sources of biomass burning, and the survey for activity data and the measurement for emission factors are needed for reducing the uncertainty of these emission data.

아스콘 제조 시설에서의 먼지 배출량 산정 방안 연구 (A Study on Estimating PM Emission from Asphalt-Concrete Manufacturing Facilities)

  • In this study, field measurement was carried out for reasonable improvement of asphalt concrete manufacturing facilities' PM emissions estimation method. Through those, this study calculated PM emission factor and tried to estimate PM emissions from asphalt concrete manufacturing facilities suitable for domestic characteristics. As a result, the efficiency of the PM control device was measured as 99.9%. Using this, uncontrolled PM emission factor was calculated. PM emission factor was calculated 10.97 kg/ton at 23 asphalt concrete manufacturing facilities of 22 workplaces. The PM current emission factor of the US Environment Protection Agency (EPA) is 14.4 kg/ton, the factor calculated from this study is about 24% lower than the EPA standard.

  • 본 논문에서는 DMB 방송장치의 대역외발사강도에 대한 국내외 기준을 고찰하였으며, 10mW/MHz 이하의 지상파 소출력 중계기 방사 마스크 요구조건들을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 소출력 DMB 중계기에 적합한 대역외방사특성 기준을 제안하였으며, 3개 블록들을 포함하는 멀티블록 중계기에 대한 기준도 함께 제안하였다. 제안된 기술기준의 타당성 및 유용성은 다양한 실험들을 통하여 입증하였다. 제안된 기술기준값을 이용하면 DMB 중계기의 소형화 및 저가화가 가능하며, 향후 DMB 음영지역 해소를 통한 방송구역 확대 등에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

Performance Evaluation of Early Streamer Emission Lightning Air Terminal

  • Studies have claimed that ESE (Early Streamer Emission) air terminals offer a vastly increased zone of protection over that of traditional lightning rods (Franklin rods) by causing the emission of an upward streamer/leader: The upward streamer/leader will propagate towards the tip of the downward leader at an early stage in the attachment process.. This paper shows the results of a performance evaluation test of a particular type of the ESE air terminal (called "ElecHippo") with a simple rod tested at the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI). The corona emission current of the ElecHippo made by Yong-Jin Enterprise Corp. has also been measured at the Occupational Safety & Health Research Institute (OSHRI). The results show that the ElecHippo meets the French standard of NFC 17-102-1995. The results also verify the ESE performance by measuring the ion emission current generated in the discharge electrode gap as a function of the capacitance and inductance of the equipped devices. Finally, we propose a new method for grounding the system to reduce the lightning damage by combining the ESE air terminal, the early discharge earth plate, the lightning strike recorder and the surge protection device.

정기검사 시설기준 개선이 입자상물질(PM10) 배출에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Regular Inspection Facility Standards Improvement on Particulate Matter (PM10) Emissions)

  • The particulate matter that was emitted always come up by atmospheric environmental problem. Running on the road vehicles must have regular inspection at regular period and make sure the emissions of exhaust gases exceed the legal standards. Emission test for the atmospheric environment, but it is not free from the particulate matter. Currently, emission test of vehicle inspection is divided into regular inspection and close inspection. Regular inspection and close inspection differ not only the method of emission test, but also the facility standards that must have for this inspection. According to the "Regulations on the Implementation of Comprehensive vehicle Inspection, etc.", close inspection must have trapping device that is trap particulate matter by emission test to vehicle. However, regular inspection is different. Regular inspection do not specify any criteria for trapping facilities. Therefore, this study is confirm how to prevent the emission of particulate matter to the atmosphere during the year when mandatory trapping facilities are required to trapped particulate matter in the regular inspection.

A Study of contact Detection and Position Sensitivity of AE Sensor

  • In this study, a methodology is developed and confirmed to find the physical contact between the slider and disc due to the defects of disk during head seeking operation using acoustic emission (AE) signal. The head/disk contact was detected during random and standard seeks, whereas no contact was detected during track fellowing. During standard and random seeks, the torsion mode of slider excitation was observed at 680KHz. Therefore, it is thought that AE technique can be used as an alternative method of the glide test by monitoring existence of the torsional mode of the slider during seek operation or can be used to detect the spacing loss during seeking operation. By appropriately choosing the location of the sensor an order of magnitude increase in the sensitivity for RMS AE signal is observed. Therefore we can find take-off velocity clearly with high signal to noise ratio of AE signal.

국내외 건물 에너지성능 인증제도 비교, 분석 (Comparison and Analysis of Domestic and Foreign Building Energy Rating Systems)

  • With the increase in the demand for sustainable and environment-friendly development all over the world, it becomes an urgent issue for Korea to reduce $CO_2$ emission. Since building industry accounts for about 40% of international energy and resource consumption and $30{\sim}40%$ of $CO_2$ emission, it is essential to prepare for energy-efficient building. This study aims to seek for improvement direction for a domestic Building Energy Efficiency Rating System through the comparison with foreign systems. Two foreign building energy rating systems which have the similar application scope with domestic one, HERS(Home Energy Rating System) and SAP(Standard Assessment Procedure)2005 were selected. As compared with foreign systems, we intended to suggest improvement direction for effective application of Building Energy Efficiency Rating System in Korea.

선박배출 오염물질의 영향을 고려한 부산지역 대기질 모델의 개발 (The Development of Air Quality Model Considering Shipping Source in Pusan Region)

  • Air quality modeling about coastal urban region such as Pusan shoud be consider shipping source emmited from ships anchoraging and running. It has been proved at our previous studies that the ratios of air pollutants emission amount in coastal area to inland are 12.2% for NO$_2$ and 11.7% for $SO_2$ and the air qualify of coastal urban area consierably counts on ships. Also the dispersion pattern of the all pollutants followed local circulation system in this region. Therefore this study has been developed air quality model which can describe the formation, transport, transformation and deposition processes of air pollutants considering shipping source. Currently, restriction for emission amount of ships does not exist, so our study will be useful to set the omission standard and for devising air quality policy in coastal urban region.

Also, verification business through greenhouse gas inventory construction is spreaded variously. Greenhouse gas verification proceeds by document examination, risk analysis, field survey. Document investigates emission information, calculation standard, emission report, data management system. And through risk assessment result, establish field verification plan. Through study on risk assessment of greenhouse gas inventory verification, wish to reduce risk of verification.
