This research was conducted to examine the temporal methane ($CH_4$) and nitrous oxide ($N_2O$) emission trends in livestock agriculture from year 1990 to 2011 with Tier 1 national greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory reporting method, which was related to efforts of decreasing GHG emissions and to achievement of voluntary GHG mitigation target. Methane emissions from enteric fermentation were calculated with default $CH_4$ emission factors of IPCC. Methane and $N_2O$ emissions from manure treatment processes were calculated with Tier 1 and mixture of Tier 1 and Tier 2 including $N_2O$ emission factors of manure treatment systems and nitrogen excretion rate of livestock, respectively. According to 2013 National GHG Inventory Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification report, GHG emission fluctuations from enteric fermentation and manure treatment processes were similarto livestock head fluctuation. GHG emissions from enteric fermentation were mainly affected by beef cattle including Hanwoo, while manure treatment processes were affected by various livestock.
I present an analysis of the long-term evolution of the fluxes of six active galactic nuclei (AGN) - 0923+392, 3C 111, 3C 273, 3C 345, 3C 454.3, and 3C 84 - in the frequency range 80 - 267 GHz using archival calibration data of the IRAM Plateau de Bure Interferometer. Our dataset spans a long timeline of ~14 years with 974 - 3027 flux measurements per source. We find strong (factors ~2-8) flux variability on timescales of years for all sources. The flux density distributions of five out of six sources show clear signatures of bi- or even multimodality. Our sources show mostly steep (alpha~0.5-1), variable spectral indices that indicate outflow dominated emission; the variability is most probably due to optical depth variations. The power spectra globally correspond to red-noise spectra with five sources being located between the cases of white and flicker noise and one source (3C 111) being closer to the case of random walk noise. For three sources the low-frequency ends of their power spectra appear to be upscaled in spectral power by factors ~2-3 with respect to the overall powerlaws. We conclude that the source emission cannot be described by uniform stochastic emission processes; instead, a distinction of "quiescent" and (maybe multiple) "flare" states of the source emission appears to be necessary.
Analysis of long term affecting factors on water quality items of gas emission form (BOD, COD) and leachate emission form (T-N, non-bio-degradable COD (NBDCOD)) was performed for the SUDOKWON 1st Landfill Site (LS1) and 2nd Landfill Site (LS2). As landfill gas was generated, BOD and COD decreased from 6,887 and 20,025 mg/L in 1993 to 49.5 and 670.2 mg/L in 2019, respectively. TN and NBDCOD increased with waste decomposition but gradually decreased after landfill closure because of the precipitation infiltration effect. Due to the drastic decline of carbon in the leachate, the BOD/TN ratios of LS1 and LS2 declined from 13.0 and 17.0 during early stage of the landfill to 0.07 and 0.16 in 2019, respectively; LS2 and NBDCOD/COD increased from 0.25 to 0.65 during the same period. These conditions caused carbon deficiency in denitrification treatment and a chemical post-treatment request for NBDCOD. The different behaviors of gas emission and leachate emission items suggest the necessity of different strategic approaches in the long term perspective.

Generally, air pollutant emission at workplace is estimated by two methods: indirect methods using emission factors and direct methods based on CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System). CAPSS (Clean Air Policy Support System) is a representative indirect method and the national air pollutant database of Korea. However, characteristics of some workplaces may create a gap between CAPSS and CEMS data. For improving of emission data accuracy, emission data of CEMS (named CleanSYS) equipped at 138 target workplaces were compared with those of CAPSS. As a result, $SO_x$ and $PM_{10}$ emission levels obtained by CAPSS were lower than those of CleanSYS. $SO_x$ and $PM_{10}$emission ratios were 61.5% and 71.2% lower respectively, showing the biggest gaps. On the other hand, $NO_x$ emission of CAPSS was higher by 10.4%. $SO_x$ showed the biggest difference in 'Energy industry combustion' and $NO_x$ did in 'Production Process' within the SCC category. $PM_{10}$ presented a large gap in 'Manufacturing industry combustion.' The differences in $SO_x$ between the two systems occurred because some large-size facilities lack pollution controllers or efficient pollution controllers. Based on this study, CAPSS emission database of Korea will improve accuracy through adopting CEMS emission system, which enables more efficient national atmospheric policies and workplace management.
This study was carried out to estimate the BVOCs emissions with the emission factors which reflected the native conditions of forests in Jeju Island. This study made effective use of the previous data for the weather data and the emission rate of each organic volatile component measured at 10 species of conifers and broad leaved trees. The CORINAIR method and the grid system of $1km{\times}1km$ for whole area of Jeju Island were adopted in calculating the BVOCs emission emitted from forest. The vegetation information for Jeju Island was referred to GIS and a government report. By the results of BVOCs emission for Jeju Island, the 85% of monoterpene emission was emitted from conifers and the others was from broad leaved trees. Most of monoterpene emission was attributed to Pinus thunbergii and Cryptomeria japonica. The broad leaved trees greatly contributed to the isoprene emission and Quercus serrata played a dominant role in emission of isoprene. The total amount of BVOCs emission was estimated as $3612ton\;yr^{-1}$ in Jeju Island. The 51.1% of total emission was contributed to conifers, the 44.9% to broad leaved trees, and the 4.0% to grassland. Of total emission of BVOCs, monoterpene accounted for 32.3%, isoprene for 28.0%, and OVOCs for 39.7%. The BVOCs emission estimated by this study was less than that estimated by other previous study. This means that it is important to survey the emission rate at native conditions and gather the detailed information for various species of vegetation on target region.

From a manufacturing standpoint it would be desirable to monitor the degradation of drawing die, that is essential for the maintenance of quality, the evaluation of product integrity and the reducing scrap. Acoustic emission is powerful method in monitoring fine wire drawing process, especially in detecting the die fracture at early stage. Experiments at so suggested that acoustic emission signals contained valuable information regarding the stage of a drawing process such as the surface appearance of products and the condition of lubrication. Using these informations makes AE monitoring techniques a possible tool in monitoring the drawing process operation. In order to approach this, this paper discusses the nature of acoustic emission signals produced in drawing process under various conditions. Experimental results are presented which illustrate the effects of wire and die material, lubricants, and drawing speed on the generation and the mean voltage level of acoustic emission signals. The results from these tests give controlling factors of acoustic emission generation.
Acoustic emission technology is applied to diagnosis the internal leak and operating conditions of the major valves at nuclear power plants. The purpose of this study is to verify availability of the acoustic emission as in-situ diagnosis method. In this study, acoustic emission tests are performed when the pressurized high temperature steam flowed through gate valve(1st stage reheater valve) and glove valve(main steam dump valve) on the normal size of 4 and 8". The valve internal leak diagnosis system for practical field was designed. The acoustic emission method was applied to the valves at the site, and the background noise was measured for the abnormal plant condition. To improve the reliability, a judgment of leak on the system was used various factors which are AE parameters, trend analysis, signal level analysis and RMS(root mean square) analysis of acoustic signal emitted from the valve operating condition internal leak.

Architecture has a large influence in the environment and human health. Therefore eco-friendly concept and sustainable development are important in Architectural field. This study aims to analyze impact of green building rating system on an apartment housing CO2 emission using multiple regression analysis. But in this result, green building rating system has no effect on CO2 emission. So, future study is required to analyze factors of green building rating system on the CO2 emission.

Recently, yearly production of SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) as an alternative fuel has been rapidly increasing because of the limited waste disposal, rise in oil prices and reduction of greenhouse gas emission. However, SRF using facilities are excluded from the National Air Pollutant Emission Estimation because SRF using facilities are not yet included among the SCC (Source Classification Code). The purpose of this research was to estimate the emission and emission factor of SRF using facilities' PM and $NO_x$, in order to investigate whether or not they are included in the National Air Pollutant Emission Estimation. The emission factors of SRF using facilities' PM and $NO_x$ are calculated as 0.216 kg/ton, and 3.970 kg/ton, and the emission was estimated based on the yearly total SRF usage of 2011. The results above was 18.7% for PM and 12.8% for $NO_x$ emissions from combustion facility (SCC2) in manufacturing industry combustion (SCC1) of CAPSS. If CAPSS estimate the emission by adding SCC on unlisted SRF in case of Boiler (SCC3) fuel, both PM and $NO_x$'s emissions would increase by 15.8% and 11.3% compare to the emissions for the existing combustion facility. As a result, emissions caused by SRF should be considered when calculating the National Air Pollutant Emission Estimation. In addition, further researches to develop emission factor and improve subdivided SCC should be done in the future, for the accurate and reliable estimation of National Emission.
The realistic Visual Effects using fluid simulation in 3D computer graphics are operated as important factors to improve the quality of images. The process of creating realistic motions of water, fire, explosion by controlling each property of fluid is called fluid simulation. In general, the creation of a fluid simulation concentrates on the main simulation work phase, however an effective method for initial set up is important for the main simulation work. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors involved in the initial emission motion and shape of fluid and propose methods that can efficiently apply this into the initial set up. For the process of the research, first, problems are raised based on related researches, and second, two experiments, 'Dynamic Fluid Emitter Creation' and 'User Design Type Emission Velocity Solution', are conducted for more effective fluid simulation. Through this research, the effective fluid simulation of initial set up phase will be suggested through the user design-type emission control solutions.
