미래유망기술은 그 중요성으로 인해 국내외 유수의 기관에서 발표를 하고 있지만 이에 대한 후행평가는 거의 없는 실정이다. 잘못된 정보는 큰 시행착오를 초래하게 되므로, R&D 기획 단계에서 과거에 발표되었던 유망기술을 한 번 더 확인하는 작업은 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서 제안한 평가 프레임워크가 과거 발표된 미래유망기술에 대해 신속하고, 시간과 비용 측면에서 효율적인 평가방법을 제공할 것으로 기대한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 제품화가능성과 구매가능성의 개념을 도입하였다. 각각 특허와 뉴스 정보를 근거로 측정되는 것으로, 제품화가능성은 유망기술이 관련 응용 제품으로 구현될 가능성을 계량화한 것이고, 구매가능성은 소비자들이 응용 제품을 구매할 가능성을 수치화한 것이다. 제안된 평가프레임워크를 설명하기 위하여 LED와 LCD를 비교했하였고, 그 결과 평가시점(2011년)에서의 유망성은 LCD가 LED에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 시장보고서의 결과와 일치한다.

As the paradigm of future vehicles changes, the interest in automotive semiconductor, which plays a key role in realizing this, is increasing. Automotive semiconductors are the technology with very high entry barriers that require a lot of effort and time because it must secure technology readiness level and also consider safety and reliability. In this technology field, it is very important to develop new businesses and create opportunities through technology trend analysis. However, systematic analysis and application of automotive semiconductor technology trends are currently lacking. In this paper, U.S. registered patent documents related to automotive semiconductor were collected and investigated based on the patent's IPC. The main technology of automotive semiconductor was analyzed through topic modeling, and the technology path such as emerging technology was investigated through cosine similarity. We identified that those emerging technologies such as driving control for vehicle and AI service appeared. We observed that as time passed, both convergence and independence of automotive semiconductor technology proceeded simultaneously.

CAPTCHA는 인터넷에서 서비스 혹은 자원을 요청하는 존재가 사람인지 아닌지를 구별하기 위한 테스트 기법이다. 이러한 대부분의 CAPTCHA들은 CAPTCHA 영상을 제3자에게 스트리밍 하여 제 3자가 사용자 대신 CAPTCHA에 응답하는 스트림 릴레이 공격에 의해 우회 될 수 있다는 문제점을 갖는다. 스트림 릴레이 공격에 저항성을 갖기 위해 인간의 인지 구조를 이용한 Emerging Image Game CAPTCHA가 제안되었으나, 사용성이 낮다는 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 Emerging Image Game CAPTCHA의 사용성을 개선할 수 있는 Emerging Image Cue CAPTCHA 설계 방법과 CAPTCHA를 제안하며, 제안된 CAPTCHA에 대한 사용성 평가, 릴레이 공격 시뮬레이션을 통해 실질적인 개선이 이루어졌는지를 평가한다.

This study aims to answer two questions using input-output decomposition analysis: 1) Have emerging Asian economies decoupled? 2) What are the sources of structural changes in gross outputs and value-added of emerging Asian economies related to the first question? The main findings of the study are as follows: First, since 1990, there has been a trend of increasing dependence on exports to extra-regions such as G3 and the ROW, indicating no sign of "decoupling", but rather an increasing integration of emerging Asian countries into global trade. Second, there is a contrasting feature in the sources of structural changes between non-China emerging Asia and China. Dependence of non-China emerging Asia on intra-regional trade has increased in line with strengthening economic integration in East Asia, whereas China has disintegrated from the region. Therefore, it can be said that China has contributed to no sign of decoupling of emerging Asia as a whole.

Various aspects of artificial intelligence (AI) have become of significant interest to academia and industry in recent times. To satisfy these academic and industrial interests, it is necessary to comprehensively investigate trends in AI-related changes of diverse areas. In this study, we identified and predicted emerging convergences with the help of AI-associated research abstracts collected from the SCOPUS database. The bidirectional encoder representations obtained via the transformers-based topic discovery technique were subsequently deployed to identify emerging topics related to AI. The topics discovered concern edge computing, biomedical algorithms, predictive defect maintenance, medical applications, fake news detection with block chain, explainable AI and COVID-19 applications. Their convergences were further analyzed based on the shortest path between topics to predict emerging convergences. Our findings indicated emerging AI convergences towards healthcare, manufacturing, legal applications, and marketing. These findings are expected to have policy implications for facilitating the convergences in diverse industries. Potentially, this study could contribute to the exploitation and adoption of AI-enabled convergences from a practical perspective.

급변하는 과학기술 환경속에서 효율적인 R&D와 경쟁력 확보를 위해 미래 기술을 예측하고 유망기술을 발굴하고자 하는 활동이 전 세계적으로 활발히 이뤄지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 고피인용 논문을 분석 방법을 이용해 2008년, 2012년도 각각 과학기술 전분야를 넘나드는 최전선의 연구활동을 확인하고, 2008년과 2012년을 비교해 연구활동의 규모가 급증한 영역을 추출하여 10대 유망기술을 도출하였다. 본 연구결과는 연구개발 및 기업의 전략적, 정책적 의사결정을 지원할 것으로 기대된다.

We investigated an emerging magnetic loop dynamically formed on the Sun, which has the effective footpoint heating source that may play a key role in heating a solar atmosphere with free magnetic energy in it. It is suggested that the heating source could be related to local compression of a plasma in the emerging loop by means of Lorentz force, which converts the magnetic energy to the internal energy of the plasma that is used to reaccelerate a decelerated downflow along the loop, eventually generating the source when the kinetic energy of the downflow is thermalized. By analyzing very high-cadense data obtained from a magnetohydrodynamic simulation, we demonstrate how the local compression is activated to trigger the generation of the heating source. This reveals a characteristic of the emerging loop that experiences a dynamic loop-loop interaction, which causes the local compression and makes the plasma gain the internal energy converted from the magnetic energy in the atmosphere. What determines the characteristic that could distinguish an illuminated emerging loop from a nonilluminated one is discussed.

자동차 부품기업들은 플랫폼 기반 대량맞춤형 제품개발과 생산을 통해 비용절감과 아시아 신흥시장 수주 확대를 목표로 하고 있다. 그러나 신흥시장은 수주량이 적고, 변동성이 높아 목표 달성이 어렵다. 본 연구는 부품기업 관점에서 신흥시장의 수주량 변동성 위험을 적정 수준으로 관리하면서, 영업이익을 극대화할 수 있는 제품 포트폴리오 최적화 방법을 제안한다. 기존 제품 포트폴리오 최적화 접근법과의 차별점은 세가지다. 첫째, 플랫폼 기반 대량맞춤형 생산에 의한 비용 절감효과를 반영한다. 둘째, 수주량 변동성을 고려한다. 셋째, 최소 영업이익률 유지라는 강건성 조건을 반영한다. 실무적으로는 신흥시장 개척의 재무 위험을 최소한도로 유지하면서, 점진적으로 시장점유율을 높여가는 동적 제품개발 전략 수립의 토대를 제공한다. 북미, 유럽, 아시아 18개 업체에 납품하는 다국적 부품제조기업의 파워리프트게이트 제품을 대상으로 실증연구를 수행했다.

In this study we use three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic simulations to investigate how the dynamic state of emerging magnetic field is related to the twist of field lines. Emerging magnetic field forms a magnetic structure on the Sun where various kinds of activity such as solar flares, jets, and coronal mass ejections are observed. To understand the physical mechanism for producing such activity, we have to know the dynamic nature of this structure. Since flares are the manifestation of rapidly dissipating electric current in the corona, we also investigate the distribution of current density inside the structure and examine how it depends on the field-line twist. To demonstrate the dynamic structure of emerging magnetic field, we focus on the factors characterizing the geometric property and stratification of emerging magnetic field, such as the curvature of field line and the scale height of field strength. These two factors show that emerging field forms a two-part structure in which the central part is close to a force-free state while the outer marginal part is in a fairly dynamic state where magnetic pressure force is dominant. We discuss how the field-line twist affects the two-part structure and also explain a possible relation between electric current structure and sigmoid observed in a preflare phase.

본 연구의 목적은 국가GIS 발전을 위해 새로운 정보통신 기술과 인프라를 GIS분야에 접목하기 위한 정책적인 가이드라인을 제시하는 것이다. 지속적인 국가GIS의 발전과 산업활성화를 위해서는 새롭게 부각되고 있는 정보통신 기술들의 발전동향을 정확하게 파악하고 잠재적인 문제점을 파악하여 적시에 반영할 수 있는 기술정책이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문의 구성은 다음과 같다. 1장 서론에 이어 2장에서는 GIS와 연동되어야 할 주요 기반기술인 통신, 보안, LBS. 유비쿼터스 기술 등의 요소기술 현황 및 전망을 살펴보고 표준화 동향을 고찰한 후, 3장에서는 국가GIS 발전을 위한 정보통신 기술도입의 기술 정책적인 가이드라인을 제안한 후 4장에서 결론을 맺기로 한다.
