유전알고리즘을 이용한 기본설계 단계에서의 구성설계 (Configuration Design using a Genetic Algorithm in the Embodiment Design Phase)

  • This paper proposes a representation for the embodiment design of mechanical structures and a genetic algorithm suited for the representation. In order to represent early stages and latter stages of the embodiment design, the designs are modeled as simultaneous multi-objective optimization problems of parametric designs for parts and of layout generation for structures. The study, thus, involves genotypes that are adequate to represent phenotypes of the models for the genetic algorithm to solve the given problems. We demonstrate the implementation of the genetic algorithm with the result applied to the gear equipment design.

슈퍼모던 패션 디자인의 공간성 구현 연구 (A Study on Space Embodiment of Supermodern Fashion Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the change of modern space concept and analyze how to adopt and embody the change in modern fashion. The study researched wearer's costume space and analyzed space shown in supermodern fashion design by classifying it into response to non-space, allowance of wearer-based space, scientific space of architectural skill and embodiment of space image. As a study method, literature and study material of sociology, anthropology, fashion sociology and design field were referred. For picture data of supermodern fashion work, specialized book, designer, brand collection material and internet site pictures were collected and analyzed. The study result shows the following features of fashion design space embodiment corresponding to the change of supermodern environment. First, supermodern design secures closet space like pocket for portable objects and uses design space in order to provide the space for convenience of movement. Second, supermodern design creates wearer-based independent space in order to secure person's physical and mental stability in city environment. Third, supermodern design uses space scientifically from the aspect of detail and shape by applying space of architectural skill to space. Fourth, supermodern design shows aesthetic feature that embodies interpretation of space by conceptualizing space image and using fashion.

개념설계에 치중하는 기초설계 과목 개발 (Developing the Course of Cornerstone Design Concentrating on Conceptual Design)

  • In order to note some points necessary for developing the cornerstone design course concentrating on conceptual design through that students acknowledge that engineering design is not to make things but to produce knowledge not only meet requirements of clients, users, and stake holders but also to solve problems, this paper describes the contents for the course that covers conceptual design as well as embodiment design, explains some ways and tools both for guiding students and for asking for study of lecture materials, and discuss things to be considered when faculty designs the course.

  • 오늘 날 많은 로봇들이 탁상용으로 개발되면서, 사용자들은 작업환경에서 로봇과 음성을 기반으로 상호작용을 한다. 그러나 현재 기술적 한계로 인하여, 대안이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 생체신호 중 무조건 반사를 활용하여 사용자와 상호작용을 하는 로봇을 디자인하고자 본 연구를 설계하였다. 본 연구에서는 생체신호를 로봇에 보다 효과적으로 적용하기 위하여, 로봇 외형의 구체화 정도와 로봇의 반응 속도에 따라 사용자가 느끼는 로봇에 대한 전체적 서비스평가와 인지된 로봇의 지능, 적합성, 신뢰성, 사회성을 평가하였다. 실험 결과 로봇의 외형이 구체화되지 않은 2D로봇보다 외형이 구체화된 3D 로봇이 인지된 지능과 적합성이 긍정적으로 평가되었고, 반응 속도가 느릴 때보다 반응 속도가 빠를 때 전체적 서비스평가와 인지된 로봇의 지능, 적합성, 신뢰성, 사회성에서 긍정적으로 평가되었다. 또한 서비스, 신뢰성, 사회성 평가에서 로봇 외형의 구체화 정도와 로봇 반응 속도에 따른 교호효과가 있었다.

  • We present a framework of an intelligent design system for embodiment design of machine tools which can support efficiently and systematically the machine design by utilizing design knowledge such as objects(part), know-how, public, evaluation, and procedures. The design knowledge of machining center has been accumulated through interview with design experts of machine tool companies. The processes of embodiment design of machining center are established and represented by the IDEF0 model from the field surveys. We also introduce a hybrid knowledge representation so that the system can easily deal with various and complicated design knowledge. The intelligent design system is being developed on the basis of object-oriented programming, and all parts of a design object, machining center, are also classified by the object-oriented modeling.

  • 본 연구는 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용 디자인(HCI Design)에서 사용자 중심적인 디자인 기술개발의 원리를 포착하기 위한 방법의 일환으로 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용에서 재현되는 모든 시각적 단서들의 전형을 "비쥬얼 토큰(Visual Tokens)"이라는 개념적 모델로 파악하였다. 또한 비쥬얼 토큰의 각 세부 속성과 컴퓨터 환경 노출 정도에 따른 사용자 유형 중의 하나인 초심자(naive user),일반사용자(casual user), 숙련가(expret uesr) 그룹과의 상관관계를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 피험자 설문 및 인터뷰로써 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로는 HCI 디자인 구현의 기초자료가 되는 사용자 중심적인 가이드라인을 제시하였으며 HCI 분야에서의 디자인적 접근방법을 모색하였다.방법을 모색하였다.

컴퓨터통합제조시스템을 위한 수명주기 모형 (A Life Cycle Model for Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems)

  • In this paper, we propose a 7-phase life cycle model which applies to Computer Integrated Manufacturing systems. The model emphasizes product design and manufacturing design activities of CIM to secure the critical success factors of CIM systems such as high quality, adaptability, productivity, and flexibility. It is argued that the product design aspect would be divided into three phases-conceptual design, embodiment design, and detialed design. The conceptual design phase is to build a conceptual model of the product based on requirements and specifications which reflect "the voice of the customer". THe embodiment design phase utilizes specific design tools such as DFM, CAE, and CAD, and results in a concrete model of the product and parts. The detailed design phase is to crete a working prototype of the product and design tools such as DFA. CAD and CAM are employed in this phase. The output of the product design activity is to be the input for the manufacturing design activity. Using the proposed model, one can effectively and efficiently manufacture a high-quality, low-cost product with short delivery time, and above all achieve customer'ssatisfaction.isfaction.

  • Modern house degraded by object of possession by industry and capitalistic development, and it is losing genuine meaning as order system to secure perpetuity of dwelling. Paradigm of space embodiment need first of all laying stress on human's life to overcome such modem dwelling crisis. In modern age Europe, Adolf Loos tried to embody residing space of human center within modernistic developing of technology, urbanization etc.. For such reason, Raumplan is worth reviewing. By treatise that research about Raumplan is many already presentation of the results of ones study do. But most discussions were limited by opinion which is 'Three-dimensional space plan techniques' that give attention to in physical characteristics of Raumplan, and by opinion which is 'Adolf Loos' criticism about culture with outside society. We reconsidered Raumplan in side of general paradigm of residing space embodiment that started from relevant resident's life in treatise that see as such reason. As a result, we knew that is near in residing space original target that Raumplan wishes to embody human's life to space, and this nowaday suitable candidate for marriage as excellent thanks for residing crisis conquest of done situation quote may.

  • ADAS 기능의 상용화에 따라 자율주행 시스템 체험에 대한 필요성이 높아지면서, 인공지능 에이전트의 역할이 주목받고 있다. 이 연구는 자기효능감 자극과 에이전트 체화 효과를 검증하기 위한 자율주행 체험 실험이다. 시뮬레이터 실험을 통해 자기효능감 자극의 유무, 에이전트 체화의 유무에 따른 사회적 실재감, 인지된 위험, 그리고 인지된 용이성 요인의 효과를 측정하였다. 분석 결과, 자기효능감 자극은 사회적 실재감, 인지된 위험에 긍정적 영향을 주고, 에이전트 체화는 인지된 용이성에 부정적 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구결과에 기반하여 부분자율주행 시스템의 수용도를 높일 수 있는 에이전트 설계 가이드라인을 제안하였다.
