This study developed a design to estimate the location of rescue demander using the sound system at disaster site, in the conditions of indoor positioning cannot be performed properly. It is a location tracing system through smart phone application. It generates sound wave information of rescuer at the rescue site, and it can be used as assistant means for indoor location tracing at the disaster site using sound wave receiving measurement technology.

Systemic health conditions increase with advancing age, and may be linked to poor self-reported oral health. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association between systemic health conditions and poor self-reported oral health among Korean elderly. The study used a nationally representative sample of Koreans (2012 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey) aged 65~98 years (n=1,595). Systemic health conditions in this population were assessed by the presence of one or more of the following conditions: obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and hypercholesterolemia. The relative risk of poor self-reported oral health according to the occurrence of systemic health conditions was estimated by multivariate logistic regression after controlling for several potential confounders (i.e., socio-demographic factors, oral health behaviors, health behaviors, and psychological factors). After adjustment for these confounders, the relative risk of having poor self-reported oral health was greater among the elderly with one or more systemic health conditions than in those without a systemic health condition. The odds ratio of having poor self-reported oral health according to the occurrence of systemic health conditions was 1.51 (95% confidence interval, 1.08~2.12). Among the Korean elderly, perception of poor oral health was associated with the presence of one or more systemic health conditions. Future studies are needed to examine the detailed causal relation between systemic health conditions and poor oral health longitudinally.

This study is the research on sensitivity in the web. The main purposes of the study are to present the objective criteria on sensitivity of web users and to help embodiment of successful design. The study has overall two main subjects, which are the contents and results. They are as follows. First, the study is going to develop sensibility factors and the sensitivity structure model. Second, based on the study above, the further stage focuses on the correlation between sensibility and figurative factors in the web design. By understanding of the correlation between sensitivity and figurative factors, the study assist designer in the embodiment of successful sensitivity design. And it shows one of the various approaches to sensitivity. In the end, it can be considered as a process to make an objective criteria on sensitivity design at the same time expected to play a role providing designers with rational guideline on work and evaluation and helping the presentation of successful sensitivity design.

Branding is a process of building the relationship between a brand and consumers. This process can also happen in a space that reflects brand characteristics, and this kind of branding is called space branding. This way can strengthen a brand image by delivering its profound impressions with synesthetic experiential services for consumers. In terms of brand extension, particularly, it is possible by space branding to apply the image and value of the parent brand to spatial design so as to expect the direct effect of experiential brand recognition. As a result of case analysis for space branding - the scope of which was limited to hotels - specific ways of embodying a brand into space were largely classified into three types: the first is the 'embodiment of visual elements' that directly embodies a brand's logos, colors, forms, and textures into space; the second is the 'experience of brand content' that mainly adopts the way of giving impressions with events or customer services, or of inducing direct experiences combined with exhibition function; and the third is the 'symbolic expression of brand characteristics' that indirectly expresses the strong concept or image of a brand - a type in contrast to the first direct type. These ways of space branding change the general abstract feeling of a brand's qualities into specific spatial experiences, thus now settling as one of the ways of marketing that are direct, strongly sustainable, and the most effective.

The synchronization algorithm of IEEE 802.11a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) has three consecutive processes, which use a short code training symbol, a long code training symbol and a pilot symbol respectively. But in using this synchronization processes, the actual embodiment has two problems. First, the synchronization process has the complex structure using a long code training symbol and a pilot symbol. Second, since the long training symbol is only compensated with the offset correction coefficient, it can not be trusted perfectly. If the equalizer coefficient is obtained in this unstable period, the system performance is degraded. In particular, the system performance becomes worst in case of the 54 Mbps transmission system using the maximum length of data. In this paper, the new algorithm is proposed which can resolve the embodiment complexity of synchronization processes and structural defect, and also it is confirmed by simulation.

Architectural embodiment of a national identity has long been a significant topic in Korean architectural circles. For this reason, it must be helpful to examine the so-called, 'National Romanticism' of Finnish architecture around 1900 in that Finnish architects of the time struggled to embody their national identity through their projects. Considering the historical and linguistic affinities between Finland and Korea, the Finnish architectural situation draws . our additional attention. This paper aims at showing its historical background, the meaning of each type of buildings in the stream, and limitations it implies. The atmosphere of Finnish nationalist movement, which was provoked by [Kalevala] publications (1835; 1845) and shown in Karelianism, was heightened by Tsarist Empire's Russification programme of Finland in the late 19th century Architecture was one of the most important genres expressing her national identity. Finnish national romantic architecture could be divided into three. The first is a log house style for artists' studio house, motivated by the Finnish vernacular farmstead - especially by Karelian farmhouse. This type of building signifies the Finns' will to return to their motherly soil. The second is a stone architecture style for public buildings, inspired by Finnish church or castle of an early medieval time. By using roughly-cut granite as the main exterior material, buildings of this type symbolise the toughness of legendary heroes and Finns' desire for national Independence. The third type of building was based on both of the former or more dependent on architects' Imagination and creativity. However, Finnish national romantic architecture has been criticised by some critics owing to its decorative, eclectic and self-indulgent characteristics. Probably, it was not really national but rather inter-national because of the Influences of English Arts and Crafts Movement, the American Richardsonian architecture and the continental Art Nouveau. And the negative images of 'national' and 'romantic' made some historians coin other terms like 'national realism' or 'material realism'. As another limitation, one raises the low degree of its contribution to the entire architectural history. Despite these criticisms, however, this paper argues that Finnish national romantic architecture is meaningful in itself, particularly because it illustrates vividly Finns' struggle to search for their national identity and, after all, their craving for national independence.

Digital high resolution cameras are widely available, and are increasingly use in digital close-range photogrammetry. And photogrammetry instruments are developing rapidly and the precision is improving continuously. The building of 3D terrains of high precision are possible and the calculation of the areas or the earthwork volumes have high precision due to the development of the techlique of the spatial information system using computer. Using the digital camera which has capacity of keeping numerical value by itself and easy carrying, we analyze the positioning error according to various change of photographing condition. Also we try to find a effective method of acquiring basis data for 3D monitoring of high-accuracy in pixel degree through digital close-range photogrammetry with bundle adjustment for local terrain model generation and 3D embodiment of tumulus. In the study is about to efficient analysis of digital information data fer conservation of cultural properties.

In this paper, we did pursue the embodiment of a mouse pointing system which help the handicapped and people of not familiar with using electronics use electronic devices easily. Speech Recognition and 3-axis acceleration sensors in conjunction with a headset, a new mouse pointing system is constructed. We used speaker dependent system module which are generating the BCD code by recognizing human voices because it has high recognition rate rather than speaker independent system. Head-set mouse system is organized by 3-axis accelerometer, sound recognition module and TMS320F2812 processor. The main controller, TMS320F2812 DSP-processor is communicated with main computer by using SCI communications. The system is operated by Visual Basic in PC.
