Digital Watermarking using the Channel Coding Technique (채널 코딩 기법을 이용한 디지털 워터마킹)

  • Digital watermarking has similar concepts with channel coding thechnique for transferring data with minimizing error in noise environment, since it should be robust to various kinds of data manipulation for protecting copyrights of multimedia data. This paper proposes a digital watermarking technique which is robust to various kinds of data manipulation. Intellectual property rights information is encoded using a convolutional code, and block-interleaving technique is applied to prevent successive loss of encoded data. Encoded intelloctual property rithts informationis embedded using spread spectrum technique which is robust to cata manipulation. In order to reconstruct intellectual property rights information, watermark signalis detected by covariance between watermarked image and pseudo rando noise sequence which is used to einbed watermark. Embedded intellectual property rights information is obtaned by de-interleaving and cecoding previously detected wtermark signal. Experimental results show that block interleaving watermarking technique can detect embedded intellectial property right informationmore correctly against to attacks like Gaussian noise additon, filtering, and JPEG compression than general spread spectrum technique in the same PSNR.

  • This paper presents a method of constructing telematics terminal embedded architecture for DMB TPEG data service The proposed embedded architecture was designed for terminal. Also, we use WIPI which was used for standard based on mobile middle-ware, and TPEG decoding which was used for Window CE. We can see the advantage compare with previous methods.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented for multi-axis force control systems of an intelligent robot. Linux operating systems are ported to an embedded system which Include a Xscale processor to implement a web based monitoring system. A device driver is developed to receive data from multi-axis force sensors of intelligent robots. To control this device driver, a socket program for Labview is also developed.

  • The development of an unmanned vehicle basically requires the robust and reliable performance of major functions which include global localization, lane detection, obstacle avoidance, path planning, etc. The implementation of major functional subsystems are possible by integrating and fusing data acquired from various sensory systems such as GPS, vision, ultrasonic sensor, encoder, and electric compass. This paper focuses on implementing the functional subsystems, which are designed and developed by a graphical programming tool, NI LabVIEW, and also verifying the autonomous navigation and remote control of the unmanned vehicle.

  • In this work, an efficient test algorithm and BIST architeture a for embedded memories are presented. The proposed test algorithm can fully detect stuck-at fault, transition fault, coupling fault. Moreover, the proposed test algorithm can detect nighborhood pattern sensitive fault which could not be detected in previous march test algoarithms. The proposed test algorithm perposed test algorithm performs testing for neghborhood pattern sensitive fault using backgroung data which has been used word-oriented memory testing.

  • This paper finds solutions for using ZigBee in wireless networked control system (WNCS). The round trip time delay and packet loss rate of the WNCS are measured. On the basis of these measured data, a playback buffer is used to solve the variable time delay in WNCS, and a Smith predictor is introduced to compensate for the time delay. The WNCS was able to be actually constructed to perform DC motor position control with 40 Hz sampling frequency.

  • In this paper, we present a hard disk drive embedded digital satellite receiver with scene change detection for video indexing. This receiver can store, retrieve and classify the broadcast data by implementing an interface between the conventional digital satellite receiver and digital storage media. Using this system, user can obtain more information for efficient video retrieval.

  • In this paper, a spatial-based perceptual watermarking considering human visual system (HVS) that is proposed for small-size images such as internet shopping-mall image. In our method, a multi-bit data can be embedded in luminance component of color images still keeping the perceptual quality of image. Experimental results demonstrated that watermarks can be strongly embedded while preserving a good fidelity.
