  • Embedding is a mapping an interconnection network G to another interconnection network H. If a network G can be embedded to another network H, algorithms developed on G can be simulated on H. In this paper, we first propose a method to embed between Hierarchical Cubic Network HCN(n, n) and Hierarchical Folded-hypercube Network HFN(n, n). HCN(n, n) and HFN(n, n) are graph topologies having desirable properties of hypercube while improving the network cost, defined as degree${\times}$diameter, of Hypercube. We prove that HCN(n, n) can be embedded into HFN(n, n) with dilation 3 and congestion 2, and the average dilation is less than 2. HFN(n, n) can be embedded into HCN(n, n) with dilation 0 (n), but the average dilation is less than 2. Finally, we analyze the fault tolerance of HCN(n, n) and prove that HCN(n, n) is maximally fault tolerant.

  • The majority of event detection in real-time embedded sensor network systems is based on data fusion that uses noisy sensor data collected from complicated real-world environments. Current research has produced several excellent low-level mechanisms to collect sensor data and perform aggregation. However, solutions that enable these systems to provide real-time data processing using readings from heterogeneous sensors and subsequently detect complex events of interest in real-time fashion need further research. We are developing real-time event detection approaches which allow light-weight data fusion and do not require significant computing resources. Underlying the event detection framework is a collection of real-time monitoring and fusion mechanisms that are invoked upon the arrival of sensor data. The combination of these mechanisms and the framework has the potential to significantly improve the timeliness and reduce the resource requirements of embedded sensor networks. In addition to that, we discuss about a privacy that is foundation technique for trusted embedded sensor network system and explain anonymization technique to ensure privacy.

  • The objective of this study was to design and implement a gateway for remote monitoring a combine. Many researchers have designed and implemented trouble-shooting system of agricultural machine. but the system didn't have network system or used wired network system. But monitoring machine have been operated in the out of door. In such an environment, each machine have to be operated under on a guarantee of mobility and stability. Thus, we have developed a gateway with an embedded system including the XScale PXA255 processor and wireless network device. We have also built an embedded Linux kernel and several devices. We developed an embedded application for monitoring a combine and this application is also capable of receiving signals from other clients and sending them to a server via Wireless LAN. Finally, results of performance evaluation which measured CPU share and memory sizes have shown that it is possible to provide monitoring service stably.

  • In this paper, In this paper, analyzed structure of home networking used in USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) and embedded systems for home automation was implemented on the Android operating system. Developed a system for building a home network using wireless communication, so it is possible to minimize the difficulty of installation. Home automation system has built based on pre-defined ID according electronic components that make a house. In addition, a data structure suitable for home automation was defined and developing application programs based on Android OS according to packet structure, embedded system for home automation was developed.

  • Low-power and lossy networks (LLNs) comprised of thousands of embedded networking devices can be used in a variety of applications, such as smart grid automated metering infrastructures (AMIs) and wireless sensor networks. Connecting these LLNs to the Internet has even greater potential, leading to the emerging concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). With the goal of integrating LLNs into IoT, the IETF has recently standardized RPL and 6LoWPAN to allow the use of IPv6 on LLNs. Although there already exist several studies on the the performance of RPL and embedded IPv6 stack in LLN, performance measurement and characterization of TCP over RPL in multihop LLNs is yet to be studied. In this article, we present a comprehensive experimental study on the performance of TCP over RPL in an embedded IPv6-based LLN running over a 30-node multihop IEEE 802.15.4 testbed network. Our results and findings are aimed at investigating how embedded TCP interoperates with common Linux TCP and underlying RPL (and vice versa), which furthers our understanding of the performance trade-offs when choosing TCP over RPL in IPv6-based LLNs.

  • This paper propose a control network system based on IEEE1394 for a multi body robot control. The IEEE1394 has the characteristic of high speed(400Mbps), real-time, stability and plug&play. And IEEE1394 also supports freeform daisy chaining, branching and hot plugging, which reduce cabling complexity and make a system simple. Especially, multi host and broad casting support network data sharing method which is suitable for control network for multi body robot. Through experiment, we show that the proposed control network can interface 48 joints (BLDC motors, gears, and encoders) and four 6-axis force/torque sensors with 4Khz communication bandwidth, which is adequate for a multi body robot.

  • Recently, LEE et al. proposed an attribute-based authenticated key agreement protocol over home network, which aimed to support authentication and key agreement between user and home server. However, if the home server is attacked in the protocol, the effects are influenced to the overall home network components severly. Thereby, this paper proposes a new ticket-based authentication protocol using user attributes between user and home devices to solve the problem. The proposed protocol supports the various levels of security to user by diversifying the network accessibility depending on user attribute. Thereby, the protocol could support more secure home network services.

  • This paper proposes a configuration automation technique to minimize service interruption time in the event of a corporate network access layer switch failure. The automation is achieved without the need for a separate external system, as the network setting information is stored in a container inside the switch, enabling rapid recovery without requiring separate storage. This approach ensures the continuity of network services and demonstrates the efficiency of configuration automation. The proposed technique improves corporate network stability by providing a quick response in the event of a failure.

  • In this paper, we propose the integrated security management framework supporting the trust for the ubiquitous environments. The proposed framework provides the gathering and analysis of the security related information including the location of mobile device and then dynamically configures the security policy and adopts them. More specially, it supports the authentication and delegation service to support the trusted security management for the ubiquitous networks. This system also provides the visible management tools to give the convenient view for network administrator.
