엘리베이터 하중시험 대체 검사기법 개발 (New Inspection Skill for Load-test of Hydraulic Elevator without Actual Loads)

  • In order to check traction of the elevator, the load-test is positively necessary on the inspection of elevator in Korea. So actual loads are used in the elevator car for the load-test. However, some of advanced countries in Europe, for example Germany, are using the alternative method with no load test instead of traditional load-test. Commonly hydraulic elevator, compared to passenger elevator is mainly used for loading heavy weights. It requires a great deal of labor to carry out load-test. The reason is why we developed a new inspection skill for the load-test of hydraulic elevator without actual loads. The results of studies show that the new method of the load-test can be replace the traditional load-test.

엘리베이터 설치 작업용 시스템 비계의 구조 성능 평가 (Structural Performance Evaluation of System Scaffolding for Elevator Installation Work)

  • This study performed a structural performance evaluation of a system scaffolding for elevator installation work developed in previous studies. The structural performance was evaluated via a structural test conducted to apply the working load specified in the design standard. The deflection of the horizontal member and the stress of each member constituting the system scaffolding were measured. Consequently, the structural safety evaluation including structural behavior and required performance was performed using the deflection and stresses measured from the structural test. The structural test and safety evaluation results based on the heavy working load corresponding to the design load indicated that the deflection, which is the performance criterion of the horizontal member, did not exceed the allowable value. Further, each member's stress, which is a safety evaluation indicator, did not exceed the allowable strength for both horizontal and vertical members with bending behavior and fordable bracing with tensile behavior, while also satisfying the required safety factor. In addition, the results confirmed the safety against deformation, partial damage, and destruction owing to excessive and maximum load. Therefore, the system scaffolding developed in this study satisfies both the structural performance and safety required by the design standards; thus, it can be applied to elevator installation work sites.

가속 열화 모형을 이용한 엘리베이터 와이어 수명 예측 (Estimation of Elevator Wire Life Using Accelerated Degradation Model)

  • Purpose: This study is to estimate the life of elevator wire rope by using the accelerated degradation test with two accelerating variables of applied load and corrosion. Methods: Linear regression method is used to find the pseudo life of elevator wire rope at each combination of accelerating variables and the median life of elevator wire rope at use condition is estimated under the assumption that the life of elevator wire rope follows lognormal distribution. Results: The particular case study demonstrated that the results of the elevator wire life estimation by using the proposed method can provide the better solutions than existing methods. Conclusion: It can be economical to use accelerated degradation model for estimating the life of elevator wire rope.

  • Manufactured easy elevator can drives from the first floor to fifth floor as sequence control circuit in cause opening than existing equipment of experiment and practice, the structure of in the first implementation process are hand-worked control component with push-button, L/S and relay, it is structured a lamp to express that the door open and moving of cage by mechanical action of For/Rev motor-braker of which load. The second structure of implement process to control from the first floor to the fifth floor with the PLC elevator program can control by the sensor of hand-operated function of L/Sl~L/S5 in time that the S/Wl~S/W5 of PLC control panel operates to the For/Rev. The function of two kind process that an elevator is driven by PLC program and the sequence control relay circuit is a mechanical relay sequence control field and it is equipment apparatus of it to get appropriately the technology of For/Rev in that mechanical operating cause of a load using the PLC program. Also the wring circuit using a plug, dissembly. the circuit and the principle of component, and PLC program with the function test can be used the implementation field to the total technology theory about FA.

Development of DC Controller for Battery Control for Elevator Car

  • Among transport vehicles, Special Vehicles (SVs) are seriously exposed to energy and environmental problems. In particular, elevator cars used when moving objects in high-rise buildings increase the engine's rotational speed (radian per second: RPM). At this time, when the vehicle accelerates rapidly while idling, energy consumption increases explosively along with the engine speed, and a lot of soot is generated. The purpose of this paper is to develop a bi-directional DC-DC converter for control of vehicle power and secondary battery used in an elevated ladder vehicle (EC) used in the moving industry. As a result of this paper, the performance test of the converter was conducted. The charging/discharging state of the converter was simulated using DC power supply and DC electronic load, and a performance experiment was conducted to measure the input/output power of the converter through a power meter. Through this experimental result, it was confirmed that the efficiency was more than 92% in Buck mode and Boost mode at maximum 1.2kW output.

Wind Tunnel Test of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

  • A low speed wind tunnel test was conducted for full-scale model of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) Low Speed Wind Tunnel(LSWT). The purpose of the presented paper is to illustrate the general aerodynamic and performance characteristics of the UAV that was designed and fabricated in KARI. Since the testing conditions were represented minor portions of the load-range of the external balance system, the repeatability tests were performed at various model configurations to confirm the reliability of measurements. Variations of drag-polar by adding model components such as tails, landing gear and test boom are shown, and longitudinal and lateral aerodynamic characteristics after changing control surfaces such as aileron, flap, elevator and rudder are also presented. To explore aerodynamic characteristics of an UAV with model components build-up and control surface deflections, lift curve slope, pitching moment variation with lift coefficients and drag-polar are examined. The discussed results might be useful to understand the general aerodynamic characteristics and drag pattern for the given UAV configuration.

복층터널 연결 수직구용 철재브래킷 구조성능 연구 (A study on structural performance of steel brackets in vertical shaft connected to double-deck tunnel)

  • 복층터널은 도심지에서 대심도로 시공되는 특성이 있으므로 복층터널용 수직구는 급기 및 배기구, 대피통로 계단, 엘리베이터, 배전시설, 접속터널 등의 설치공간의 확보가 필요하다. 또한 복층터널용 수직구는 도심지에 시공되는 특성상 공사영향 최소화를 위하여 터널굴착 완료 후 수직구 내부 콘크리트 구조물의 급속시공이 필요하다. 따라서 수직구 내부 슬래브 및 계단용 콘크리트 시공의 프리캐스트화가 필요하며 이러한 수직구 내부 프리캐스트 구조물 지지를 위한 브래킷의 급속시공기술이 필요하다. 브래킷 형태 사례조사 결과 현장타설 방식, 프리캐스트 방식, 철재브래킷 방식 등이 있는데 본 연구에서는 시공속도 향상을 고려하여 경제성이 양호하고 시공성이 우수한 철재브래킷을 개선한 새로운 브래킷에 대하여, 직선형 매립 앵커볼트와 꺾임형 매립 앵커볼트에 대한 구조성능시험결과 소요하중 지지능력을 확보하는 것을 확인하였고 꺾임형 매립 앵커볼트의 하중지지능력이 보다 큰 것을 확인하였다.
