모바일 GIS 환경에서 효율적인 고도 정보의 전송 기법 설계 (Design of Efficient Transmission Method of Elevation Information in Mobile GIS Environments)

  • 모바일 GIS 환경에서 등치선을 표현하기 위해서는 지형도와는 별도로 서버로부터 해당 수치 데이터를 전송받아야 한다. 이때 전체 데이터를 전송받는 것은 모바일 환경의 특성상 무리가 따른다. 그리고 대표값을 전송받아 보간법으로 중간 데이터를 생성하는 기법은 계산 오버 헤드와 등치선의 정확도 문제가 있다. 이 논문에서는 고도정보를 이용하여 생성하는 등고선 정보를 모바일 클라이언트로 효율적으로 전송하기 위한 자료구조와 알고리즘을 소개한다. 제시한 기법은 전송할 고도 데이터의 볼륨과 전송시간을 최소화하는데 초점을 맞춘다.

지형분석을 이용한 산지토양 탄소의 분포 예측과 불확실성 (Spatial Prediction of Soil Carbon Using Terrain Analysis in a Steep Mountainous Area and the Associated Uncertainties)

  • Soil carbon(C) is an essential property for characterizing soil quality. Understanding spatial patterns of soil C is particularly limited for mountain areas. This study aims to predict the spatial pattern of soil C using terrain analysis in a steep mountainous area. Specifically, model performances and prediction uncertainties were investigated based on the number of resampling repetitions. Further, important predictors for soil C were also identified. Finally, the spatial distribution of uncertainty was analyzed. A total of 91 soil samples were collected via conditioned latin hypercube sampling and a digital soil C map was developed using support vector regression which is one of the powerful machine learning methods. Results showed that there were no distinct differences of model performances depending on the number of repetitions except for 10-fold cross validation. For soil C, elevation and surface curvature were selected as important predictors by recursive feature elimination. Soil C showed higher values in higher elevation and concave slopes. The spatial pattern of soil C might possibly reflect lateral movement of water and materials along the surface configuration of the study area. The higher values of uncertainty in higher elevation and concave slopes might be related to geomorphological characteristics of the research area and the sampling design. This study is believed to provide a better understanding of the relationship between geomorphology and soil C in the mountainous ecosystem.

지역특성을 고려한 건축 디자인 개념 표현 과정 (A Study on the Representation Process of Architectural Design Concepts considering Regional Characteristics)

  • It was the purpose of this study that propose architectural design process through analysis of concepts considering regional characteristics. The procedure of this study was as follows : First, classifying design process through investigating paper-survey and case studies. And We would investigate representation process of design concepts applied to design competitions entries. Finally, we would investigate design process applied to buildings in various districts. In the results, we could find that domestic architects were applying to site plan, floor plan, elevation plan, section plan and mass plan-led design process to express design concepts. And according to survey on buildings in various districts, we could verify that architects were applying various design process to express design concepts according to site characteristics. These results could help architects to design appropriately, according to site characteristics.

공동주택 실내공간 아트월의 구성특성 분석 (Analysis of Constructional Characteristics of Art-walls in Apartment Houses)

  • This study aimed at analyzing physical characteristics of art-walls which is a focal point in contemporary interiors of the apartment houses. The factors for the analysis were types of apartments, positions, widths, compositions of elevation, and materials of art-walls. 89 art-walls were selected for the analysis ranging from $76m^2$ to $187m^2$. The result shows that wood was mostly applied to art-walls in small types of apartment in combination with other materials, and the composition of elevation was asymmetric. If the width of art-walls became smaller, the elevation was dominantly designed with symmetrical grid using tiles. Tiles turned out to be the general material for the single-applied material. However, if more than two materials were applied to art-walls, wood was chosen as the main material. Regardless of the types of apartment, big-sized art-walls were usually designed in the living room, and two different types of materials were applied to the walls. It reveals that art-walls of apartment houses have been planned and designed with focuses on the living room in the housing space. To make a modular panel for the art-walls, 400mm and 800mm sizes were both suggested, 400mm for the smaller composition, and 800mm for the larger composition of the art-walls. A Wall image is becoming more essential to the living space these days, because it can be both decorative and also supportive to residents' various individualities. Therefore, it is expected that further researches on art-walls are continuously performed, and also various designs of art-walls based on the modular system are developed in the near future.

트루텍 빌딩의 3차원 입체 커튼월 시공 (Construction of Aluminum Curtain Wall with 3D Elevation for TRUTEC Building)

  • 트루텍(TRUTEC) 빌딩은 서울 마포구 상암동 DMC(Digital Media City) 단지 내에 위치한 오피스 빌딩이다. 본 건물은 독일 설계사무소의 원설계를 바탕으로 국내 실시설계가 이루어졌으며 지하 5층 지상 12층 중규모 건물로서 그 외관을 독특한 3차원 입체 유닛을 활용한 커튼월로 마감하였다. 기존의 커튼월 공사에서 보여주었던 평면적인 모델을 탈피하고 알루미늄 바를 3차원 입체 가공함으로써 사각형 박스의 단순하게 보여질 지 모르는 입면을 독특하게 구현해해는 데 성공했다. 18개월의 공기를 준수하기 위해 커튼월 공사는 공사계약시점부터 주요 공정으로 분리되어 공정관리가 이루어졌으며, 지속적인 공정 업데이트 및 유기적인 이해당사자 회의를 통해 디자인 현안들을 해결해 나갔다. 최초 시도되는 형태의 입면과 알루미늄 바의 가공방법에서 발생할 수 있는 리스크를 최소화하기 위하여 단계별 Mock-Up을 실시하였으며, 피드백을 통해 예상되는 문제점들을 도출하고 분석하였다. 이를 통해 촉박한 공기의 준수와 품질 확보를 이룰 수 있었다.

위상비교 방식을 이용한 2차원 방향탐지 정확도 분석 (Accuracy Analysis of 2-D Direction Finding Based on Phase Comparison)

  • 본 논문에서는 신호의 고각과 방위각을 추정하기 위한 위상비교 방식의 방향탐지 정확도에 대해 분석하였다. 안테나 4개를 균일 배치한 구조와 3개를 균일 배치한 구조의 고각과 방위각 추정에 대한 분석적 표현을 제시하였고, 방향탐지 오차를 분석하였다. 또한 정확도, 형상, 채널수 관점에서 두 구조를 비교하여 방향탐지 장치 설계에 대한 방향을 제시하였다. 방향탐지 분석결과는 시뮬레이션 결과와 유사한 분포를 나타내고, $1.2^{\circ}RMS$ 이내의 차이를 갖는 것을 확인하였다. 분석 결과로부터 SNR 20 dB, 베이스라인 길이가 반파장일 때, 안테나 4개를 균일 배치한 구조의 경우, 안테나 3개를 배치한 구조에 비해 고각 방향탐지 정확도는 1.15 배 높으며, 방위각 방향탐지 정확도는 서로 동일함을 확인하였다. 또한 2차원 방향탐지 구조는 1차원 방향탐지 구조에서 발생하는 코닝에러가 제거되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This study is to suggest design types and to identify design characteristics of traditional style public buildings. Since the types of such buildings became very diverse recently, proper classification criteria is essential for future design and evaluation. The demand for such buildings is continuously increasing, but the types of design is very varied; thus it seems important to identify the present design conditions, and to be able to suggest desirable directions for better designs. The research analyzes 31 examples of public buildings in Gwangju Metropolitan City and South Jeolla Province, where there are large number of traditional style public buildings than anywhere else in Korea, and tried to analyzed site plan, elevation, space, details and organizes Design types. This study can help to roughly identify the problems of existing design as well as to suggest improvements in the future design.

An interpolation method of b-spline surface for hull form design

  • This paper addresses the problem of B-spline surface interpolation of scattered points for a hull form design, which are not arbitrarily scattered, but can be arranged in a series of contours permitting variable number of points in the contours. A new approach that allows different parameter value for each point on the same contour has been adopted. The usefulness and quality of the interpolation has been demonstrated with some experimental results.
