  • Many researchers make efforts to develope an effective material with anti-tracking property. Specially, the porcelain type insulator is required exchanging to polymer insulator according to the environmental consideration. In this paper, we have developed the estimation system using the translated IEC-60587 test for the application of actual insulator. Those approach has been very successful applied to the various practical insulator.

  • We have obtained disordered carbon by pyrolyzing PPP in a nitrogen atmosphere for 8 hour at 700$^{\circ}C$. AC impedance property was measured with the PPP-based carbon/EC-DEC/Li cell. The impedance spectra of the cell were measured during the 1st discharge proceed. As the result of measurement the cell resistance decreased in intial discharge, but increase in final discharge.

Spectroscopic Properties and Ligand Field Analysis of cis-Dinitrato(1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane)chromium(III) Nitrate

  • The luminescence and photoexcitation spectra of cis-[Cr(cyclam)(NO3)2]NO3·½ H2O (cyclam=1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) taken at 77 K are reported. The infrared and visible spectra at room-temperature are also measured. The vibrational intervals of the electronic ground state are extracted from the far-infrared and emission spectra. The ten electronic bands due to spin-allowed and spin-forbidden transitions are assigned. With observed transitions, a ligand field analysis has been performed to determine the bonding property of nitrate group in the chromium(Ⅲ) complex. According to the results, it is found that nitrate ligand has weak σ- and π-donor properties toward chromium(Ⅲ).

  • SOI(Silicon-On-Insulator) MOSFET의 전기적 특성에 미치는 게이트 산화막과 계면준위 밀도의 관계를 조사하였다. 결함이 발생하지 않는 얕은 소스/드레인 접합을 형성하기 위하여 급속열처리를 이용한 고상확산방법으로 제작한 SOI MOSFET 소자는 급속열처리 과정에서 계면준위가 증가하여 소자의 특성이 열화된다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 $H_2/N_2$ 분위기에서 후속 열처리 공정을 함으로써 소자의 특성이 향상됨을 볼 수 있었다. 이와같이 급속열처리 공정과 $H_2/H_2$ 분위기에서의 후속 열처리 공정이 소자 특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 소자 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 게이트 산화막과 채널 사이의 계면준위 밀도를 분석하였다. 그 결과, n-MOSFET의 경우에는 acceptor-type trap, p-MOSFET의 경우에는 donor-type trap density가 소자특성에 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

An Efficient High Voltage Level Shifter using Coupling Capacitor for a High Side Buck Converter

  • We propose an efficient high voltage level shifter for a high side Buck converter driving a light-emitting diode (LED) lamp. The proposed circuit is comprised of a low voltage pulse width modulation (PWM) signal driver, a coupling capacitor, a resistor, and a diode. The proposed method uses a property of a PWM signal. The property is that the signal repeatedly transits between a low and high level at a certain frequency. A low voltage PWM signal is boosted to a high voltage PWM signal through a coupling capacitor using the property of the PWM signal, and the boosted high voltage PWM signal drives a p-channel metal oxide semiconductor (PMOS) transistor on the high side Buck converter. Experimental results show that the proposed level shifter boosts a low voltage (0 to 20 V) PWM signal at 125 kHz to a high voltage (370 to 380 V) PWM signal with a duty ratio of up to 0.9941.

Relationship among User's Security Need Sufficiency, Customer Satisfaction and Life Satisfaction in Electronic Security System (기계경비시스템 이용자의 안전욕구충족과 이용만족 및 생활만족의 관계)

  • This study aims at diagnosing the relationship among user's security need Sufficiency, customer satisfaction and life satisfaction in electronic security system. For the achievement of this study selected electronic security system users in Seoul as a population for about 25 days from June 20$^{th}$, 2008 to July 15$^{th}$, 2008, segmented. This study selected 378 peoples by distributing 400 unities in total for each 80 peoples throughout purposive sampling method. The final 302 samples were used in statistics. Collected data was analyzed based on the aim of this study using SPSSWIN 16.0, and factor analysis, reliability analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis and path analysis were used as statistic techniques to analyze. The conclusions are the followings; First, The higher bodily, environmental, mental, informational, and physical security need the more body and property protection satisfaction and facility customer satisfaction. The higher bodily, environmental, and mental security need the more employee service satisfaction. Second, The higher bodily, environmental, informational, and physical security need are perceived, the more influence is marked with life satisfaction and security life satisfaction. Third, The higher personal and property protection, facility, and employee service satisfaction the more security life satisfaction. Also, the higher customer service and personal and property protection satisfaction are perceived, the more influence is marked with life satisfaction. Fourth, Security need sufficiency has little influence on life satisfaction directly, but it has high influences on life satisfaction through customer satisfaction of electronic security system.

  • This paper deals with a new design method for a small-size rotating machine with high power. In order to achieve high performance, secondary excitation by Nd-Fe-B magnets and the grain oriented electrical steel sheets were selected and a new design using dual rotors is proposed. The outline of the high-performance rotating machine will be presented and the results of the finite element analysis by using this method combined with the E&SS modeling will be shown in the paper.

  • The effect of microsilica content modified with silicone-modified epoxy on electrical and mechanical properties of cycloaliphatic epoxy/microsilica system was investigated. The cycloaliphatic epoxy resin was diglycidyl 1,2-cyclohexanedicarboxylate and curing agent was an anhydride. Surface of microsilica was modified with silicone-modified epoxy. Electrical breakdown strength, the most important property for electrical insulation materials was tested. Tensile and flexural tests were also performed using universal testing machine (UTM). The microcomposite with 60 wt% microsilica shows maximum values in electrical breakdown strength.

  • This paper presents a method for combining classifier which is constructed by fuzzy and neural network classifiers and uses classifier fusion algorithms and selection algorithms. The input space of combing classifier is divided by the extended hyperbox region proposed in this paper to guarantee non-overlapped data property. To fuse the fuzzy classifier and the neural network classifier, we propose the fusion parameter for the overlapped data. In addition, the adaptive learning algorithm also proposed to maximize classifier performance. Finally, simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.
