The mechanics, electronics and manufacturing technology have been developed rapidly. Nowadays vehicle stability becomes more and more important then ABS (Anti-lo7k Brake System), ASR (Anti-Slip Regulator), TCS, (Traction Control System), ESP (Electronic Stability Program), and VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) which actively control the vehicle stability actively has been improved. In this study, instead of automatic transmission, CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is used because of the continuously gear ratio changes. It can effectively transfer the torque from engine to tire more than other gear transmission. The modeling is simplified assuming that there are no resistance parameters.
In this paper, we propose an accumulation encoding scheme based on double random phase encryption (DRPE) for multiple-image transmission. The proposed scheme can be used for a low-complexity DRPE system due to the simple structure of the accumulation encoder and decoder. For accumulation encoding of multiple images, all of the previously encrypted data are added, and hence the accumulation encoding can improve the security of the DRPE-encrypted data. We present a scheme for encryption and decryption for DRPE-based accumulation encoding, and a method for accumulation encoding and decoding. Finally, simulation results verify that the DRPE-based accumulation encoding scheme for multiple images is powerful in terms of data security.

Double random phase encryption (DRPE) is one of the well-known optical encryption techniques, and many techniques with DRPE have been developed for information security. However, most of these techniques may not solve the fundamental security problem caused by using fixed phase masks for DRPE. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a key phase mask updating scheme for DRPE to improve its security, where a spatial light modulator (SLM) is used to implement key phase mask updating. In the proposed scheme, updated key data are obtained by using previous image data and the first phase mask used in encryption. The SLM with the updated key is used as the second phase mask for encryption. We provide a detailed description of the method of encryption and decryption for a DRPE system using the proposed key updating scheme, and simulation results are also shown to verify that the proposed key updating scheme can enhance the security of the original DRPE.

Network coding is a promising technology that increases system throughput by reducing the number of packet transmissions from the source node to the destination node in a saturated traffic scenario. Nevertheless, some packets can suffer from end-to-end delay, because of a queuing delay in an intermediate node waiting for other packets to be encoded with exclusive or (XOR). In this paper, we analyze the delay according to packet arrival rate and propose two network coding schemes, iXOR (Intelligent XOR) and oXOR (Optimal XOR) with Markov Decision Process (MDP). They reduce the average delay, even under an unsaturated traffic load, through the Holding-${\chi}$ strategy. In particular, we are interested in the unsaturated network scenario. The unsaturated network is more practical because, in a real wireless network, nodes do not always have packets waiting to be sent. Through analysis and extensive simulations, we show that iXOR and oXOR are better than the Distributed Coordination Function (DCF) without XOR (the general forwarding scheme) and XOR with DCF with respect to average delay as well as delivery ratio.

In the draft of the IEEE 802.11s standard, a tree topology is established by the proactive tree-building mode of the Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol (HWMP). It is used for cases in which the root station (e.g., gateway) is an end point of the majority of the data connections. In the tree topology, the root or central stations (e.g., parent stations) are connected to the other stations (e.g., leaves) that are one level lower than the central station. Such mesh stations are likely to suffer heavily from contention in bottleneck links when the network has a high traffic load. Moreover, the dependence of the network on such stations is a point of vulnerability. A failure of the central station (e.g., a crash or simply going into sleep mode to save energy) can cripple the whole network in the tree topology. This causes performance degradation for end-to-end transmissions. In a connected mesh topology where the stations having two or more radio links between them are connected in such a way that if a failure subsists in any of the links, the other link could provide the redundancy to the network. We propose a scheme to utilize this characteristic by organizing the network into concentric tiers around the root mesh station. The tier structure facilitates path recovery and congestion control. The resulting mode is referred to as Tier-based Proactive Path Selection Mode (TPPSM). The performance of TPPSM is compared with the proactive tree mode of HWMP. Simulation results show that TPPSM has better performance.

The possibility of implementing nonuniform residual dispersion per span (RDPS) in optical links with net residual dispersion (NRD) controlled by precompensation and postcompensation for 960 Gbps WDM transmissions is studied and discussed. The fiber optic communication links investigated in this paper consist of inline dispersion management (DM) for each fiber spans and optical phase conjugator (OPC) at mid-way of total transmission length in order to compensate for WDM signal distortions due to group velocity dispersion (GVD) and nonlinearities. It is confirmed that the effect of nonuniform RDPS distribution on system performance is not significant. It is also confirmed that the optimal NRD is obtained to be one of two values of +10 ps/nm or -10 ps/nm, which depend on the deciding of NRD controlled by precompensation or postcompensation, and the exact RDPS configurations. The effective NRD ranges resulting eye opening penalty (EOP) below 1 dB are independent on the exact RDPS distribution for relative low launch power. Therefore, results show the possibility of implementing the flexible optical links to expand network construction for WDM transmission of high bit-rate capability.
This paper covers that modem performance test is effected by traffic and analysis of the result in TETRA network. The SDS is a method of the between PEIs transmission. And only SDS message type-4 is used to test. The range of the SDS message data length is from 10 to 140 bytes with an increment of 10 bytes. For each length transmitted 1000 times for each delay of inter-transmissions 0.5 second, 1.0 second and 1.5 second. The modem used in the test is the Unimo MU-1000MD by UNIMO Corp.
In 3D ultrasound color Doppler imaging (CDI), 8-16 pulse transmissions (ensembles) per each scanline are used for effective clutter rejection and flow estimation, but it yields a low volume acquisition rate. In this paper, we have evaluated three flow estimation methods: autoregression (AR), eigendecomposition (ED), and autocorrelation combined with adaptive clutter rejection (AC-ACR) for a small ensemble size (E=4). The performance of AR, ED and AC-ACR methods was compared using 2D and 3D in vivo data acquired under different clutter conditions (common carotid artery, kidney and liver). To evaluate the effectiveness of three methods, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were generated. For 2D kidney in vivo data, the AC-ACR method outperforms the AR and ED methods in terms of the area under the ROC curve (AUC) (0.852 vs. 0.793 and 0.813, respectively). Similarly, the AC-ACR method shows higher AUC values for 2D liver in vivo data compared to the AR and ED methods (0.855 vs. 0.807 and 0.823, respectively). For the common carotid artery data, the AR provides higher AUC values, but it suffers from biased estimates. For 3D in vivo data acquired from a kidney transplant patient, the AC-ACR with E=4 provides an AUC value of 0.799. These in vivo experiment results indicate that the AC-ACR method can provide more robust flow estimates compared to the AR and ED methods with a small ensemble size.
Digital goods are defined as intangible and non-physical goods, composed of a combination of digital signals, electronically represented as 0 and 1. They are also called as digital products, electronic transmissions, information goods, digital contents, computer information, etc. Digital goods are now traded both domestically and internationally as well as on-line and off-line. Korean government revised the Basic Law on Foreign Trade to include digital goods and services as the scope of foreign trade in 2001. Trade volume of digital goods are increasing in Korea. The supply chains of digital goods from producing the components to selling globally to consumers are different from conventional physical goods. Mostly, digital goods are traded on the license basis rather than ownership contract. End User License Agreements(EULAs), such as shrink-wrap, click- wrap, or browser-wrap licenses are very popular in online transactions. Unlike conventional physical goods. the breach of license contract is closely linked with the infringement of intellectual property rights. Digitalized intellectual property is easy to copy and transmit in the cyber space. In cases of legal disputes from the breach of license contract, commercial arbitration or on-line alternative dispute resolutions(ADRs) are regarded as better approach to solve them rather than court sues. For promoting more secure and reliable international trade of digital goods. arbitration clauses should be included in most of license contracts.
