국내의 웹 상의 쇼핑 정보 서비스 분류 (Classification of Shopping Information Services on the Web in Korea)

  • In this paper, we review and classify shopping information services for electronic commerce in Korea. Shopping information services for electronic commerce can be divided into shopping mall information service and product information service. Shopping mall information service simply shows and suggests information on the shopping malls that it has in its data store. But product information service provides information about the items of the shopping malls the service has and therefore gives more powerful and convenient interfaces to users. Cutting-edge product information services can perform online comparison shopping facility, which searches and compares the items what the users want on the reasonable basis of economical criteria, such as price. Books, CDs, and Personal Data Assistant(PDA)s are the products of which the specification is clear enough to be described on the Web. And the comparison of the products by the information service is performed on the basis of "price" of the product item. The approach to design and implement product information service can be divided into two categories. The one is an application of data warehousing mechanism, which stores the product information on the regular basis of time and provide it when the users query over the Web-database gateway. The other approach is a shopping agent mechanism, which stores information on "how to shop" and the shopping agent collects the information of product items just after users query about the product and provide the information in real time or notify them by alerting service. Thirty nine shopping information services are compared and classified in this paper and they are extracted from "Naver" and "Yahoo! Korea". The final result shows that most services are just a simple shopping mall information service in growing stage, product information services with data warehousing are lack in product ontology in middle stage, and that product information services with shopping agent are in early stage.

전자상거래 기업의 성공을 위한 소비자 구매의도 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors which Influence Consumers' Purchase Intentions in Electronic Commerce Market)

  • World Wide Web(Web) supports bi-directional communication between corporations and consumers. In the year of Electronic Commerce, close relationships with consumers are more emphasized for corporations. Nowadays, corporations compete with corporations which are located in whole world through the media called Internet. In this competitive environment, to attract consumers' attentions, it is required to develope corporations' Web sites in the way to stimulate consumers' purchase intentions. To verify the elements needed to stimulate consumers' purchase intentions factors which influence consumers' purchase intentions were analyzed. Adaptation, shopping convenience and assurance-reliability were found to be positive factors for consumers' purchase intentions. It was also found that consumers' purchase intentions in electronic commerce market are influenced by previous shopping experiences. Consumers who have previous shopping experiences are mainly influenced by good delivery systems and shopping environments while who have no experiences are influenced by consumers' risks such as performance risk and personal and privacy risk when they intend to purchase products or services.

  • XML(eXtensible Markup Language) based electronic catalog is very useful for searching target information because of its structural and contents based searching support capability. And XML document editing is easier than HTML because of XML document is divided by structure, contents and presentation. This paper is to present a prototype of XML based Electronic Catalog Management System(ECMS) whose system consists of data input, output and manipulation system for inserting, updating, editing and deletion. A proposed system could resolved the problems at virtual intermediary shopping mall invloved in the difficulty of interoperability when customer try to compare similar products at mixed shopping mall and reduced web service costs at independent shopping mall by using XML format. The proposed ECMS offers rapid response capability for product data change of electronic catalog and easy and friendly interoperability among similar products.

  • The mam purpose of this study is to find out how perceived risk elements influence to customers' perceived value and repurchase intention in the electronic commerce environment. To achieve the goal, we set 6 sub-dimensions - privacy risk, social risk, time loss risk, economic risk, psychological risk, and performance risk - based on comprehensive consideration of related studies, and established a research model included 2 factors such as perceived value and repurchase intention to measure performance in internet shopping malls. From 174 customers of the electronic commerce shopping malls survey data have been collected and analyzed based on the covariance structural model method. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, five perceived risk characteristics of privacy risk, time loss risk, economic risk, psychological risk, and performance risk are significantly positive effect on perceived value. Secondly, perceived value IS very significantly related to repurchase intention in electronic commerce shopping malls. Consequently, we discussed the strategies to create perceived value and repurchase intention in electronic commerce environment. Also we suggested the implications and further research directions.

  • A lot of Internet shopping malls strive for obtaining a competitive advantage over others in an increasingly tighter electronic marketplace. To this end, understanding customer preference toward products (or services) and administering appropriate marketing strategy is essential for their continuous survival. However, only a few marketing researchers and practicioners focused on this issue, compared with academic and industry efforts devoted to traditional market segmentation. In this paper, we suggest a methodology of conjoint segmentation for electronic shopping malls. Traditional market segmentation methodologies based on customer's profile sometimes fail to utilize abundant information given while navigating around cyber shopping malls. In this methodology, we do not impose information overload to the customer for preference elicitation, but this methodology, we do not impose information overload to the customer for preference elicitation, but capture automatically generated surfing or buying data and analyze them to get useful market segmentation information. The methodology consists of 4-stages: 1) analyzing legacy homepages, 2) data preparation, 3) estimating and interpreting the result, and 4) developing marketing mix. Our methodology was to give useful guidelines for market segmentation to companies working in the electronic marketplace.

  • 인터넷 사용이 급속히 확산되면서 많은 기업들이 전자상거래를 적극적으로 도입하고 있으며 시장규모도 급속도로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 전자상거래에 대한 연구성과는 그 중요성과 사회적 관심에 비해 매우 미약한 실정이다. 특히 고객 요구사항은 온라인 구매의향에 많은 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 이에 대한 정확한 이해가 선행되어야만 할 것이다. 본 연구는 전자상거래에서 중요시되는 구매의향에 대한 성공요인을 분석함으로써 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 설계 운영, 전략수립 등에 시사점을 제공하기 위함이다. 연구결과 가격 및 사용자편리, 쇼핑몰 배송 등에 대한 신뢰, 속도 및 오류방지가 쇼핑물 구매의향에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판명되었다.

  • 쇼핑몰의 급속한 발전은 기업과 소비자간 중간유통단계를 거치지 않고 직접 연결이 가능하게 되었으며, 이로 인해 중간마진과 물류비용을 절감할 수 있게 되었다. 나아가 무역방식과 금융방식 모두 획기적인 변화가 예상되고 있다. 국내외 전자상거래 시장이 급격히 발전함에도 불구하고 전자상거래의 성공요인에 관한 연구는 실제 미흡한 상태로 이에 대한 연구는 매우 유용한 일이라 판단된다. 본 연구결과 가격 및 보안, 쇼핑몰 인터페이스 및 신뢰, 사용의 편리성이 고객만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 인지도가 높은 쇼핑몰일수록 고객만족도가 높은 것으로 규명되었다.

A Unified Model of Web-Based Shopping Systems Diffusion

  • Although the research on electronic commerce is plentiful, there is little empirical research related to Web-Based Shopping Systems (WBSS). This is especially so in global electronic commerce circumstances. WBSS are the fastest growing segment of digital economies and are perceived as driving forces of electronic commerce in terms of global markets and digital business. Using WBSS, organizations have a new chance of their business evolving successfully as global marketers. This paper develops a unified model to assess the diffusion of WBSS. Factors that impact WBSS diffusion are identified and analyzed as the basis for empirical testing. A set of propositions is developed that allows operationalization of the model. The ultimate goal is to provide the new research insights for the academic circles and the practical guidelines for organizations wishing to undertake WBSS.

인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Active Plan of Internet Fashion Shopping-Mall)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the present conditions and problems of the Internet Fashion Shopping-Mall, grope for as active plan to the Internet Fashion Shopping-Mall as a strategic method of fashion industry. The fashion industry of Internet Electronic Commerce has good prospect, and I propose the following some strategic plans of Internet Fashion Shopping-Mall. On the basis of my study, as a means of technology supplement, Virtual Reality System, such as 3D System or the newest Electronic Dressing Room System to solve the problem of products'an actual feeling, should be needed for consumers to feel as they really put the clothes on. Second, to offer more diversity programs, such as consumer sensitivity program, additional service, fashion news, life information and so on, are needed for companies to come over again the consumers to connect to the shopping-mall site. And, to build more perfect security terms of payment systems, such as ICash, Disital Cash, Net Check, Internet Insurance and so on, should be introduced for consumers to pay and furnish their personal information. If these technological developments are realized, Internet Fashion Shopping-Mall products will be a great success.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the present conditions and problems of the Electronic Commerce, specially by the fashion companies that utilize the Internet and to propose using plans of Internet Electronic Commerce as a strategic method of fashion companies that have a information-oriented mind to adapt itself to modern century. On the basis of my analysis, I propose some using plans of Internet Electronic Commerce by the fashion companies as follows. As a means of construction method, it is need for the pertinent companies to have an information-oriented mind and then to construct the low-expense but high-speed communication Infrastructure. As an operation and management method, positive web site advertisements plans, such as promotion, using various mass media, subscribing to the Internet search engines and dissemination of products information, etc., are need for companies to attract the consumers to connect to the web site. Second, to offer more satisfactory experiences, it is need for companies to frame the integrated shopping mall as a strategic alliance in the management of shopping mall. To frame the integrated shopping mall is also effective in solving financial problems of shopping mall management and introducing of security system As a means of technology supplement, security management systems, such as SSL or SET, should be introduced for consumers to pay the price and furnish their personal informations. Second, new technology developments, such as the newest simulation programs using Virtual Reality to solve the problem of products' actual feeling, should be need for consumers to feel as they really put clothes on. If these technological developments are realized, fashionable products will be dealt in the Internet shopping mall as well and the marketability of Internet shopping mall will be expanded.
