본 연구의 목적은 지역주민에게 수준 높은 참고봉사를 제공하기 위한 공공도서관의 가상참고정보봉사 협력모형 개발에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구의 방법으로 사례조사와 공공도서관 사서를 대상으로 인터넷 설문조사를 실시하였으며 전국의 514개 공공도서관 가운데 375개관(73%)이 설문조사에 참여하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 협력참고정보데이터베이스의 구축, 가상참고데스크의 운영, 그리고 연령별 주제별 정보안내 및 교육 등의 내용으로 구성된 '통합형 가상참고실'의 구축을 제안하였다.

교육학 분야 전문기관의 전자게시판에 접수된 참고질문의 유형과 하위주제 영역간의 관계를 파악하기 위해 교육학의 23개 하위 주제영역을 대상으로 6개 질문유형을 가지고 242건의 질문을 분석하였다. 순수한 참고질문은 56.14%로 상당히 높은 수치를 보였으며, 도서실 게시판에 접수된 질문은 교과교육, 교과서, 교육일반, 교수 학습영역에서 조사형 질문이 많았으나 교육통계연구센터 게시판에는 교육제도, 고등교육, 학생 학부모 분야에서 즉답형 질문이 많이 접수되었다. 분석결과 발견된 문제점에 대한 개선방안으로는 메뉴구조 개선으로 이용자의 편의성 확보, 검색기능과 응답기능 갖춘 디지털참고질의 데이터베이스 구축, 웹폼 참고질의양식 사용, 용도에 적합한 전자게시판 사용, 참고질의 관련 주제를 장서개발정책에 반영할 것이 제안되었다.

정보 사서들이 도서관 메일링 리스트라는 전자 커뮤니케이션 매체를 어떻게 활용하고 있으며, 이러한 매체의 변화가 정보 서비스 영역에 미치는 영향은 무엇인지를 살펴보았다. 정보 서비스의 도구로서 도서관 메일링 리스트가 지니고 있는 유용성을 파악하기 위해 동의대학교 도서관 메일링 리스트의 메시지 항목 중 정보 질문의 빈도와 답변의 정도, 그리고 정보 질문의 유형을 분석하였으며 메일링 리스트를 이용한 정보 질문 처리의 문제점들을 논의하였다.

본 연구는 연구자가 도서관을 직접 방문하여야만 정보입수가 가능하던 전통적 정보조사제공서비스에서 보다 향상된 전자정보조사제공서비스로 연구자가 네트워크를 통하여 원격지에서 정보서비스를 받을 수 있는, 연구자에게 보다 편리한 인터페이스를 제공해주는 시스템이다. 본 시스템을 구축하기 위한 기초연구로 연구자들의 정보이용행태 조사를 위하여 연구자 300명에게 설문조사를 하였으며 실제 이용 연구자들로부터 시스템 평가를 받았다. 그 결과 본 시스템은 연구생산성 향상에 매우 유용한 시스템으로 평가되었다.

무선랜에서 QoS를 지원하기 위해 제안된 IEEE 802.l1e의 HCCA (HCF Controlled Channel Access)는 폴링에 의한 채널 제어 방식이다. 즉 HCCA는 중앙 제어 방식이기 때문에 자원을 분배하기 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘이 필요하며 IEEE 802.11e 표준에는 Reference 스케줄러가 제시되어 있다. Reference 스케줄러븐 폴링 리스트에 있는 모든 스테이션들을 동일한 주기로 폴링하기 때문에 잦은 폴링으로 인해 오버헤드 면에서 비효율적이며, TXOP (Transmission Opportunity)의 활용률 면에서도 낮다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하고자 스테이션들의 MSI (Maximum Service Interval)에 따라 폴링 주기를 단계별로 나누어서 스케줄링하기 위한 트래픽 스케줄링 및 수락 제어 (admission control) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘에서는 스테이션들이 자시의 MSI와 가능한 비슷한 주기로 폴링되기 때문에 Reference 스케줄러에 비해 폴링 오버헤드가 감소하게 되며, TXOP 활용률도 증가하게 된다. 시뮬레이션을 통한 Reference 스케줄러와의 성능 비교는 제안된 알고리즘이 전체적인 전송률 면에서 더 높은 성능을 보이고 더 많은 수의 스테이션이 서비스가 가능함을 보여준다.

In this paper, we propose two receiver structures of the impulse radio (IR) system to improve its performance in multipath environments. Recently, the impulse radio system has drawn much attention for future high-speed wire-less communication services. The conventional IR receiver directly correlates received signals with the ideal reference waveform, which results in performance degradation in multipath environments. The Key idea of the proposed receiver structures is to reflect the multipath Characteristics into the IR receiver. One is to deconvolve the received waveform with estimates of the multipath gains to obtain the transmitted waveform while the other is to modify the reference waveform of the correlator according to the estimates of the multipath gains. We examine the performance of the proposed schemes for the statistical indoor wireless communication channel model using computer simulation.

Telematics is an emerging industrial field made up of the convergence of technologies. The key technologies for Telematics are server-side technology, terminal-side technology, communication-related technology, and positioning technology. Standardization in Telematics is now getting more notice these days. Domestic situation is explained for several related facilities such as ETRI, TTA, and Telematics Standardization Forum. In this paper, we will focus especially on the standard reference model that is the most fundamental framework of Telematics technology standardization. In the reference model, the Telematics system is composed of Telematics client part, communication part, and Telematics server part. The Telematics client part consists of terminal, positioning device, and car electronic devices. Communication part can be composed of various telecommunication channels such as CDMA, WLAN, DMB, WiBro, etc. which can guarantee the seamless two-way communication. Telematics server part is composed of TSP(Telematics Service Provider) server and CP(Contents Provider) servers gathering and managing the various Telematics services. This Telematics reference model is expected to be utilized as the base architecture in developing the technology and standards from now on.

컴퓨터매개커뮤니케이션(CMC) 환경에서 운영되는 디지털도서관(DL)은 전통적인 도서관(TL)에서 제공하던 정보서비스의 영역과 제공방법에 새로운 대안을 제시해 주었고, TL은 정보제공 환경의 변화에 따른 새로운 패러다임으로의 이동이 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 환경하에 DL의 정보서비스는 불특정 다수 이용자들에게 시공간을 초월한 정보서비스의 영역학대와 즉시적이고, 능동적인 대처가 가능한 상호작용 커뮤니케이션 채널의 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 논고는 CMC 환경에서 정보서비스를 제공하는 DL과 이용자간의 상호작용을 위한 커뮤니케이션 채널에 대해 개괄적인 내용을 검토하고, DL에서 제공할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 채널의 유형을 살펴보았다. DL에서의 커뮤니케이션 모형개발을 위해 DL의 커뮤니케이션 특성과 국내 현황에 대한 선행연구 결과를 토대로 DL의 효과적인 정보서비스 제공을 위한 커뮤니케이션의 모델을 제시하고, 향후 CMC 환경에서 제공되는 DL과 정보이용자간의 효율적인 커뮤니케이션 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 국내 대학도서관의 온라인 참고서가 구축현황과 참고서가 접근을 위한 접근점 및 온라인 참고정보원의 유형을 분석해 보고자 하였다.서울.경기지역 소재41개 대학도서관을 조사대상으로 홈페이지의 직접 접속을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 41개 관 중 30개 관에 참고서가가 구축되어 있었으며, 참고정보원에 접근하기 위한 홈페이지상의 메뉴로는 "이용자서비스", "전자정보원", "참고정보원"의 순이었다. 제공되고 있는 참고정보원의 유형은 도서관별로 다양하였으며, "명부/명감", "사전", "통계", "백과사전"의 순으로 밝혀졌다. 국내 대학도서관의 온라인 참고서가 구축 및 활성화를 위하여 선정을 위한 평가기준의 설정 및 적용, 접근의 용이성, 주제별 접근방법, 참고정보원의 계속적인 갱신 및 추가 등을 제언하였다.

Facing the era of intelligence, the demands for changes of e-Government system appears to be rising upon the development of AI, VR, IoT and other new technologies. However, it also comes with the increasing possibility of mobile digital divide among regions, ethnicities and social classes. As the e-Government Service is only available for specific groups, the national government should proactively build an information environment to promote the convenient access and use of e-Government Service comprehensively by all the people. In the light of the sociodemographic characteristics, this study tests whether the difference is statistically significant involving the mobile digital divide between different groups with the analysis of variance, while determining the relationship between the mobile digital divide and the usage intention of e-Government Service through multiple regression analysis. The main findings of this study are as follows. First, there are differences and statistical significance between groups of different ethnicities and regions on accessibility with electronic products and networks. Second, there are obvious differences and statistical significance between groups of different ages, educational levels and ethnicities on the competency and usability of electronic products and networks. Third, the accessibility to electronic products and networks has no effect on the usage intention of e-Government Service, while the competency and usability of electronic products and networks have a strong positive impact on the usage intention of e-Government Service. The author hopes that the research findings of this paper can provide reference suggestions and opinions for bridging the digital divide among regions in China and promoting the popularization of the e-Government Service.
