  • Magnesium alloys are expected to be widely used fur the parts of structural and electronic appliances due to their lightweight and EMI shielding characteristics. While the die casting has been mainly used to manufacture the parts from the magnesium alloys, the press forming is considered as an alternative to the die casting for saving the manufacturing cost and improving the structural strength of the magnesium alloy parts. However, the magnesium alloy has low formability at room temperature and therefore, in many cases, forming at elevated temperatures is necessary to obtain the required material flow without failure. In the present study, square cup deep drawing tests using the magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet were experimentally conducted at various elevated temperatures as well as room temperature, and the corresponding finite-element simulations, which calculated the damage evolution based on the Oyane's criterion, were conducted using the stress-strain relations from the tensile tests at various temperatures. The formability predictability by the finite-element analysis was investigated by comparing the predicted damage distributions over the deformed AZ31 sheet at elevated temperatures with the corresponding experimental deformations with failures.

절삭 공구 자동 선정 프로그램 개발 (Development of Automatic Cutting Tool Selection Program)

  • The computer related techniques have been developed rapidly in the field of metal removal industry. The electronic catalog for mechanical elements is one of such developments realized in recent years. As the emergence of the electronic catalogs in the 90s, it breaks the restriction of the traditional catalog and becomes a helpful and efficient tool in the field. In this paper, we develop an electronic catalog for the cutting tools of the Korea Tungsten Co. Ltd. The catalog consists of three parts: a preprocessor for tool selection, a database for tool, and a postprocessor for search result. A preprocessor for tool selection is developed under a user-friendly consideration. A database for tool consists of milling, drilling, and reaming tools with a list of cutters, inserts, and components. A postprocessor for search result consists of weight, dimension. drawing, product order number etc. of the tools. It also suggests the optimized cutting condition of the selected tool using a neural network technique which is done by an independent research group.

칼라화상관 전극 프로그레시브금형의 자동설계시스템개발 (Development of an Automatic Design System of Progressive Die for making CPT grid)

  • This paper describes a computer-aided die design system of progressive die for making CPT grid. An approach to the development of the automatic design system is based on knowledge-based rules. The developed system is designed by considering several factors, such as grid geometry and punch profile. Grid, a key component of electronic gun, is formed through a sequence of many operations, among which the pilot piercing, beading, notching, bending, swaging and slotting etc. Using the developed system, design parameters are determined and output is generated in graphic forms. Therefore the developed system provides part drawing and the assembly drawing of die set.

중계기를 이용한 TOA 및 TDOA 기반의 위치추정 기법 (Location Estimation Technique Based on TOA and TDOA Using Repeater)

  • 무인화 기술의 획기적인 발달로 인해, 사용자 또는 객체의 위치를 정확히 추정하는 위치추정기술(Location Detection Technology : LDT)이 매우 중요하게 부각되고 있다. 대표적인 위치추정기술로 도달 시간을 측정하여 위치를 계산하는 TOA(: Time of Arrival)와 신호의 도달 시간차를 이용하여 위치를 계산하는 TDOA(: Time Difference of Arrival) 방식이 있다. 이들 기술은 3개 이상의 기지국들로부터 수신된 신호들을 기반으로 TOA의 경우에는 원을 TDOA의 경우에는 쌍곡선을 그려 교점을 계산해 위치를 추정하는 기술이다. 도심의 경우 전파 음영지역이 많이 발생하는데, 이 문제점을 개선하기 위해 많은 중계기가 설치되어 있다. 이러한 중계기를 거쳐서 수신되는 신호를 기반으로 단말기의 오차를 추정할 시 심각한 오차가 발생하게 된다. 본 논문은 중계기를 거쳐 수신된 신호를 이용하여, 위치를 정확하게 추정할 수 있는 기술을 제안한다. 제안된 기술은 한 개의 중계기와 두 개의 기지국으로부터 수신된 신호를 기반으로 TOA 및 TDOA 기법을 이용하여 단말기의 위치를 추정한다.

수중유도무기의 정비성 향상을 위한 전자식 기술교범 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Interactive Electronic Technical Manual to Improve the Maintainability for Underwater Guided Weapon)

  • Delayed repair to the failure of weapon system can cause enormous damages to military operation. Various materials like diagnostic equipment, general and special tools, technical manuals(maintenance manual and illustrated parts breakdown) and drawing documents are required for maintenance. For existing weapon systems the distributed environment of these various materials reduces the maintenance effectiveness of maintenance crew. In this paper, to provide the information of maintenance procedures and supply to the maintenance crew we develope a digital interactive electronic technical manual of the technical documents which can be used easily in computer through question and answer method and improve maintenance effectiveness and minimized repairing time.

휴머노이드 로봇의 실시간 드로잉을 위한 윤곽선의 궤적 좌표 집합 추출 알고리즘 (An Extraction Algorithm of Trajectory Point Set on Contours for Real-time Drawing of Humanoid Robot)

  • 휴머노이드 로봇이 인간처럼 그림을 그리기 위해서는 순서를 가지는 드로잉 좌표 집합이 필요하다. 하지만 기존 영상 처리를 통한 윤곽선에서의 좌표 집합은 순서가 없고 로봇 암을 들어 올리는 좌표가 없다. 또한 불필요한 좌표가 다수 포함되어 있어서 효율적인 드로잉을 하기가 어려워 드로잉하는데 시간이 많이 걸린다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 3축으로 구성된 휴머노이드 로봇 암이 드로잉하기 위한 좌표 집합을 추출하는 알고리즘을 개발한다. 이를 구현하기 위해서는 로봇이 드로잉하기 위한 윤곽선 추출 알고리즘과 추출한 드로잉 좌표 집합에서 드로잉 순서와 로봇 암을 들어 올리는 점을 전체 좌표 리스트에 포함해야 한다. 제안하는 알고리즘이 추출하는 좌표 집합은 캠 영상으로부터 입력되는 컬러 이미지에서 이미지 프로세싱을 거친 윤곽선을 입력으로 하며, 추출한 좌표들의 순서와 로봇 암의 드로잉 시작점을 삽입함으로서 빠르고 효율적인 로봇 드로잉 좌표 집합 추출 알고리즘을 구현한다. 또한 제안하는 추출 알고리즘을 휴머노이드 로봇에 적용하여 실험하였으며, 좌표 추출 알고리즘의 정확성과 효율성을 비교하였다.

ZnO 박막 증착 공정 모델링에 의한 품질 예측 기법 (Quality prediction method by using ZnO thin film deposition process modeling)

  • ZnO deposition parameters are not independent and have a nonlinear and complex properties respectively. Therefore, finding optimal process conditions are very difficult and need to do many experiments. To predict ZnO deposition result, neural network was used. To gather training data, Si, GaAs, and Glass were used for substrates, and substrate temperature, work pressure, RF power were $50-500^{\circ}C$, 15 mTorr, and 180-210 W respectively, and the purity of target was ZnO 4N. For predicting the result of ZnO deposition process exactly, sensitivity analysis and drawing a response surface was added. The temperature of substrate was evaluated as a most important variable. As a result, neural network could verify the nonlinear and complex relations of variables and find the optimal process condition for good quality ZnO thin films.

  • Existing real estate markets are monopolized because they are capital intensive and have information asymmetry. However, with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technology is converging in various industries based on information technology (IT), and the real estate market is also developing a new field called "PropTech". According to this trend, new PropTech technologies are emerging in various real estate services sectors in Korea, but the electronic contract system, which accounts for the largest portion of the real estate industry, is still cited as a complex identification process and long processing time. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an improvement plan for the current electronic contract system through the introduction of blockchain technology, which is drawing attention with the development of PropTech, and explore the possibility of introduction by producing an experimental model of blockchain-applied electronic contract system in a programming language.

Analysis of Iran's Air Defense Network and Implications for the Development of South Korea's Air Defense Network

  • This study analyzes the current status and prospects of Iran's air defense network, focusing on the Russian-made S-300 system, and derives implications for the development of South Korea's air defense network. Iran's air defense network exhibits strengths such as long-range detection and interception capabilities, multi-target processing, high-altitude interception, and electronic warfare response. However, it also reveals weaknesses, including lack of mobility, difficulty in detecting low-altitude targets, obsolescence, training level of operating personnel, and vulnerability to electronic warfare. Real-world cases confirm these weaknesses, making the system susceptible to enemy evasion tactics, swarm drone attacks, and electronic warfare. Drawing from Iran's case, South Korea should establish a multi-layered defense system, strengthen low-altitude air defense and electronic warfare capabilities, foster the domestic defense industry for technological self-reliance, and enhance international cooperation. By addressing these aspects, South Korea can establish a robust air defense network and firmly protect its national security. Future research should aim to secure and analyze materials from the Iranian perspective for a more objective evaluation of Iran's air defense network and continuously track Iran's efforts to improve its air defense network and the trend of strengthening drone forces to predict changes in the Middle East security situation.

  • The multistage precision forming process for aperture of electronic guns consists mainly of drawing and swaging operations. The multistage forming sequence is analyzed in view of production industry, and based on the industrial investigation. The processes are simulated by the finite element code MARC. The elastic recovery, strain and stress distribution, and the die forces are summarized.
