Design of high speed-low voltage LVDS driver circuit with the novel ESD protection device (새로운 구조의 ESD 보호소자를 내장한 고속-저전압 LVDS Driver 설계)

  • In this study, the design of advanced LVDS(Low Voltage Differential Signaling) I/O interface circuit with new structural low triggering ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection circuit was investigated. Due to the differential transmission technique and low power consumption at the same time. Maximum transmission data ratio of designed LVDS transmitter was simulated to 5Gbps. And Zener Triggered SCR devices to protect the ESD phenomenon were designed. This structure reduces the trigger voltage by making the zener junction between the lateral PNP and base of lateral NPN in SCR structure. The triggering voltage was simulated to 5.8V. Finally, we performed the layout high speed I/O interface circuit with the low triggered ESD protection device in one-chip.

It consists of PLVTSCR (P-type Low Voltage Trigger SCR), control NMOS and RC network. The triggering voltage was simulated to 3.6V. And the latch-up characteristics were improved. Finally, we performed the layout high speed I/O interlace circuit with the low triggered ESD protection device in one-chip.

  • Poly etch 설비에서 발생하는 dechuck 불량에 의한 Dynamic Alignment(DA) error는 poly etch 설비에서의 고질 적인 문제이다. 발생 원인은 ElectroStatic Chuck(ESC)의 노후화 혹은process plasma에 의한 attack 등으로 ESC와 wafer간 dechucking이 진행될 때 wafer내의 전하가 완전히 discharge되지 못하여 wafer Sticking에 의한 sliding이 발생되며 심해지면 Dynamic Alignment(DA) Error가 발생한다. DA error 발생 되면 particle down으로 wafer는 scrap 되며 DA error가 지속적으로 발생하는 설비는 ESC 교체를 하고 있다. ESC 교체비용도 매우 크며 교체 전까지 설비가 멈추어있는 시간적인 손실이 발생하게 된다. Dechucking을 진행할 때 Wafer에 잔존하는 전하를 제거 하여 Wafer의 sticking을 줄여 DA error를 근원적으로 방지하기 위해 plasma를 이용하여 wafer와 ESC를 하나의 electric circuit으로 연결시키는 방법으로 wafer에 잔존하는 전하를 제거 시키고자 하였다.

  • In this paper, a new active interphase reactor for twelve-pulse diode rectifiers is proposed. The proposed system draws near sinusoidal currents from the utility. In this scheme, a low kVA(0.02 $P_o$ (PU)) active current source injects a triangular current into an interphase reactor of a twelve-pulse diode rectifier. The modification results in near sinusoidal input current with less than 1% THD. Experimental results are provided from a 208V, 10kVA rectifier system.

  • The spraying status of the electrostatic sprayer was evaluated by processing surface spraying images of the natural leaves. Water solution of the fluorescent material was used as a spray medium. The image of the lights reflected by fluorescent droplets was captured under UV light using a color CCD camera. Coverage rate, particle density, and the size distribution of particles were analyzed from the surface images of leaves under various spraying conditions such as spraying nozzle angle and object distance. Spraying characteristics of the electrostatic sprayer was evaluated in comparison with the conventional one. In a case of electrostatic sprayer, coverage rate and particle density increased by the average of 1.57times and 1.01times respectively under various nozzle angles and distances. The number of particle under the diameter of 50 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ also increased significantly.

Transient Response of a Permeable Crack Normal to a Piezoelectric-elastic Interface: Anti-plane Problem

  • In this paper, the anti-plane transient response of a central crack normal to the interface between a piezoelectric ceramics and two same elastic materials is considered. The assumed crack surfaces are permeable. By virtue of integral transform methods, the electro elastic mixed boundary problems are formulated as two set of dual integral equations, which, in turn, are reduced to a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind in the Laplace transform domain. Time domain solutions are obtained by inverting Laplace domain solutions using a numerical scheme. Numerical values on the quasi-static stress intensity factor and the dynamic energy release rate are presented to show the dependences upon the geometry, material combination, electromechanical coupling coefficient and electric field.

  • The characteristics of servo systems are desired to be independent for any unpredicted operational condition. The relation between input current and output flowrate of the servovalve is dependent on the load pressure and the idea of compensation using the load pressure feedback is fundamental theory in this paper. With this idea, this paper researches the performance improvement of hydraulic position control system. Static characteristics of compensated system is analyzed by means of analog computer simulation, digital computer simulation and experiment for nonlinear model and linearized model, respectively.

  • This paper describes a switching-level simulation model and scaled hardware model for SSSC, which is useful for analyzing the dynamic interaction between the SSC and the power transmission system. A detailed simulation model with EMTP was developed to verity the SSSC operation with control system, and its increasing capability of power transmission through the line for a typical one-machine infinite-bus system. The simulation results of the developed model are compared with the experimental results froma scaled model fo 2KVA rating for evaluation the whole system operation.

  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis of electro-magnet (EM)-permanent magnet (PM) hybrid levitation and propulsion device for magnetically levitated (maglev) vehicles. Several machine characteristics such as levitation force with/without control current and thrust are described. In order to verify the analysis results and feasibility of high-speed operation of the maglev vehicle, real-scale static test set is implemented and tested.

  • The unbalance heavy-load elevation driving systems are composed of rotating link-mechanism and hydraulic cylinder which actuates elevation and compensates the static unbalance moment of supporting mechanism. Control and compensation of gun driving is very difficult because these mechanism imply highly nonlinearities due to hydraulic fluid characteristics and mechanical rotation of link-mechanism. In this study, through the analysis of manufactured link-mechanism, the optimal link-mechanism design of the elevating system is suggested. Also to estimate the control performance of the unbalance heavy-load elevation servo-control driving system, modeling and simulation of the system are carried out. To prove the reliability of performance estimation program,simulation results are compared with the experimental results. Both results are similar, therefore this program will be helpful to study the control performance improvement of the system.
