탄성지반위에 놓인 비국소 자기-전기-탄성 나노 판의 구조안정해석 (Structural stability analysis of nonlocal Megneto-Electro-Elastic(MEE) nano plates on elastic foundation)

  • 본 논문은 탄성지반위에 놓인 비국소 자기-전기-탄성 나노 판의 구조안정에 관하여 1차 전단변형이론을 이용하여 분석하였다. 4변이 단순지지된 자기-전기-탄성 나노 판의 좌굴하중을 구하기 위하여 Navier 방법을 적용하였다. 기존의 연구들에서는 2방향 좌굴해석은 거의 연구되지 않았다. Maxwell 방정식과 자기-전기 경계조건에 따라 자기-전기-탄성 나노 판의 두께 방향에 따른 자위 및 전위의 변화가 결정된다. 자기-전기-탄성 나노 판의 탄성이론을 재 공식화하기 위하여 Eringen의 비국소 미분 구성 관계식을 사용하였고 변분이론을 이용하여 비국소 탄성이론의 지배방정식을 연구하였다. 탄성지반의 효과는 Pasternak의 가정을 적용하였다. 비국소 이론과 국소 이론의 관계를 계산 결과를 통하여 분석하였다. 또한, 전위 및 자위의 크기, 비국소 매개변수, 탄성지반 매개변수 그리고 폭-두께 비에 따른 구조적 안정문제를 연구하였다. 분석 결과들은 전위 및 자위의 효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 계산 결과들은 자기-전기-탄성 재료로 구성된 신소재 구조물에 관한 향후 연구의 비교자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper presents the magnetic equivalent circuit analysis of a double-excited, two-degree-of-freedom (DOF) motor. The double-excited, 2-DOF motor is a laminated structure, making it easy to manufacture and giving it simple operating principles. We explain the structure of the 2-DOF motor and analyze the static characteristics using a magnetic equivalent circuit (MEC) to reduce analysis time. The feasibility of MEC analysis was confirmed by experimental results of the tilting, panning motion. We also confirmed the occurrence of holding torque in every motion.

  • Although Equvalent Magnetic Circuit (EMC) method. Using lumped parameter and numerical analysis method are widely used for electric machine analysis. these are neither always accurate enough nor sometimes available to easily use. Moreover three dimensional finite element method (3D-FEM) is inherently unsuitable for electric machine performance evaluation due to its poor computational efficiency, such as too long calculation time and difficulty in modeling for analysis. In this paper, Nonlinear Equivalent Magnetic Circuit (NEMC) method in combination with 2D-FEM is proposed to analyze the electric machine requiring 3D-FEM, and this method applys to torque evaluation for rotary actuator of Electro Magnetic Electronic Controller Power Steering (EM-ECPS).

  • This paper analyzes the electro-mechanical characteristics of the spindle motor in a computer hard disk drive due to the trapezoidal and sinusoidal driving methods. The driving circuit equation is modified by considering the switching action of PWM inverter, and is coupled with the Maxwell equation for the analysis of the magnetic field. Mechanical motion of a rotor is calculated by solving Newton-Euler equation. Electro-mechanical excitation and dynamic response are characterized by analyzing the free response of a rotating rotor and Fourier analysis of the excitation force.

  • Hybrid Electric Vehicles(HEVs) have seriously come into prevalence recently as car manufacturers and consumers have become more aware of the environmental and economic problems of conventional vehicles. For the alternative power-train and battery cooling systems in HEVs, an effective thermal management system is required, and many automakers are interested in using Brushless DC(BLDC) motors for cooling fans for the overall traction unit's performance and energy saving capability. This paper presents the development status of BLDC motors as major parts of the power-train, i.e. the engine cooling and battery cooling fans of HEVs. A design that uses BLDC motors for the power-train and each battery cooling fan, is successfully implemented through using electro-magnetic analysis, and prototype BLDC motors are examined. As experimental results, the BLDC motors achieved an efficiency of 85% as engine cooling fans and 72% as a battery thermal management fan motor. The electric cogging noise is significantly reduced by changing the skew of the slot pitch angle and optimizing the magnetic shape.

  • The induction heating is more efficient for a plate bending because of its easy operation and control of working parameters compared with the heating by torch. In this study, a more efficient method was proposed for the prediction of plate bending. The existing analysis method using the axi-symmetric coil model could not handle the varying temperature during the heating and the forming process for curved plates like a saddle or a concave type curvature. The proposed method using some discrete steps in this study could overcome these difficulties and show more accurate, reasonable results in temperatures and deflections of fiat or curved plates. This method is composed of multi-disciplinary analyses such as an electro-magnetic analysis, a heat transfer analysis and a deformation analysis based on inherent strain approach.

다분할 해석법에 의한 장형코일의 곡가공 연구 (A Study of Bending Using Long Type Coil by Discrete Method)

  • The induction heating is more efficient for a plate bending because of its easy operation and control of working parameters, compared with the heating by a gas torch. The existing axis symmetric analysis method could neither handle initial curved plates nor be used in the optimization of coil shapes because of its limit of an axis symmetric coil shape. But the proposed method using some discrete part models and analysis processes could overcome these difficulties and show more accurate results in temperatures and deflections of flat or curved plates with initial curvature than those in the existing axis symmetric analysis method. This method is composed of the multi-disciplinary analyses such as an electro magnetic analysis, a heat transfer analysis and a deformation analysis based on inherent strain approach per each step. Traditionally, the coil shape in the induction heating is circular shape and it needs the moving process along heating lines. To overcome this, the 'Long Type Coil' with some linear parallel coils was proposed. It did not need the moving process along heating lines and reduced the heating process time. The results of experiments were compared with those of the simulation.

  • The authors have been studying about and electro-magnetic compass with a three axis magnetic sensor in order to provide and accurate ship's magnetic heading which the compass deviations can automatically compensated in the compass itself, and the theory how to derive the poisson's coefficients from ship's magnetism measured with three axis magnetic sensor. This paper describes on the analysis of deviation derived from the measured values that obtained to measure the various magnetic fields at the compass position of the M. S. ARA, training ship of Cheju University with three axis magnetic sensor at Cheju near sea from 25th, Oct, to 13th, Nov. in 1994.

  • 중저압 분야에서 가장 많이 사용되는 차단기는 진공차단기이다. 진공차단기는 $SF_6$에 비하여 간단하며, 아크소호 능력 또한 뛰어나다. 이런 진공차단기에서 차단성능에 가장 중요한 부분이 진공차단부이다. 본 논문에서는 constricted arc와 diffuse arc에 관하여 서술하였으며, contrate type 진공차단부의 다양한 형상변경에 따른 직교자계와 축자계에 대한 3차원 전자계 해석을 수행하였다. 3차원 전자계해석으로 얻어진 결과는 새로운 진공차단부 개발에 커다란 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
