유기 용매 혼합비에 따른 고체산화물 연료전지 전해질 지지체용 세라믹 그린 시트성형 및 소결 특성 (Ceramic Green Sheet and Sintering Properties on Solvent Mixture Rate of Electrolyte for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Fabrication)

  • The properties of green sheet were investigated in order to understanding an effects of organic solvent mixture ratio for solid oxide fuel cells fabrication. The purpose of this work is to optimize the slurry condition using the design of experiment to improve green sheet properties. The elongation increased with increasing amount of binder and solvent. With increasing amount of solvent, the air permeability increased but the tensile strength decreased. The best properties of the green sheet appeared amount of the binder 17 wt%, solvent 35 wt% and powder 48 wt%. The optimum condition of green and sintered density for solid oxide fuel cells fabrication was obtained in the sample pressured at 800 $kgf/cm^2$.

Electro-optical Properties of Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Cell with Silver Nanowire Network Electrodes

  • This paper introduces liquid crystal (LC) alignment and its electro-optical properties in the LC cells with silver nanowire (AgNW) networks. The AgNW network was used as an electrode of LC cell as a substitute for an indium-tin-oxide (ITO) film. LC alignment characteristics in the LC cell using AgNW networks, which have two different sheet resistances of $60{\Omega}/m^2$ and $80{\Omega}/m^2$, were observed. The LC alignment characteristics including pretilt angle, LC alignment state, and thermal stability are similar irrespective of sheet resistance of AgNW network. However, twisted-nematic (TN)-LC cell normally operated when using AgNW network with sheet resistance of $80{\Omega}/m^2$. Electrooptical properties of TN-LC cell exhibited competitive performance compared to those of TN-LC cell based on conventional ITO electrode, which allow new approaches to replace conventional ITO electrode in display technology.

  • This paper introduces an optimal design technique for a 250-watt isolation transformer using a recently developed optimization method, dynamic encoding algorithm for searches(DRAS). Although the optimal design technique for transformers dates back to 1970s and local optimization is often undertaken using FEM nowadays, literature concerning global optimization of transformer cores is rarely found against its importance. In this paper, a small isolation transformer is used as a model to be optimized with application of DEAS to corresponding mathematical description. The optimization result confirms that DEAS can be successfully employed to design transformer cores for various design specifications only by changing cost functions.

Ni-Zn-Cu계 페라이트 시트에서 충진 밀도에 따른 시트 휨 현상 (The Effect of Packing Density on the Warpage Behavior of Ni-Zn-Cu Ferrite Sheets)

  • It is necessary for ferrite sheets to be fabricated with high packing density for excellent electrical properties and high strength. In this study, the relationship between the warpage and the packing density of ferrite green sheet, was investigated with amount variation of organic additives. With 0.4 wt% of dispersant, the packing density was about 48% and warpage appeared 0.5~1.3 mm high. With 1.4 wt% of dispersant, the packing density increased up to 57% and warpage appeared 0.8~2.1 mm high. With high packing density, warpage appeared along the edges of specimen, while with low packing density, deformation appeared over whole specimen inhomogeneously. It is thought that inhomogeneous deformation after sintering came from the inhomogeneity in green sheet prepared with badly dispersed slurry. With good homogeneity in green sheet from well-dispersed slurry, isotropic shrinkage is thought to have occurred along the distance from center to edges of specimen during sintering.

An international Comparison Measurement of Silicon Wafer Sheet Resistance using the Four-point Probe Method

  • With approval from the Asia Pacific Metrology Program Working Group on Materials Metrology (APMP WGMM), an international comparison for sheet resistance standards for silicon wafers was firstly conducted among Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) in Korea, CMS/ITRI in Taiwan, and NIM in China, which are national metrology institutes (NMIs), from August 2011 to January 2012. The sheet resistance values of the standards are $10{\Omega}$, $100{\Omega}$, and $1000{\Omega}$; the measurement was conducted in sequence at KRISS, CMS/ITRI, NIM, and KRISS again using the four-point probe method with single and dual configuration techniques. The reference value for the measurement results of the three NMIs was obtained through averaging the values of the three results for each sheet resistance range. The differences between the reference value and the measured values is within 0.22% for $10{\Omega}$, 0.17% for $100{\Omega}$, and 0.12% for $1000{\Omega}$. Therefore, the international consistency for conducting sheet resistance measurements is confirmed within 0.22% through the APMP WGMM approved comparison.

Development of a Handheld Sheet Resistance Meter with the Dual-configuration Four-point Probe Method

  • A handheld sheet resistance meter that can easily and quickly measure the sheet resistance of indium tin oxide films was developed. The dual-configuration four-point probe method was adopted for this instrument, which measured sheet resistance in the range from $0.26{\Omega}/sq$. to $2.6k{\Omega}/sq$. with 0.3 % ~ 0.5 % uncertainty. The screen of the instrument displayed the sheet resistance when the probe was in contact with the sample surface and the value continued to be displayed during the probe contact. Even after separating the probe from the surface, the value was still displayed on the screen and could be read easily. A feature of the instrument was the use of the dual-configuration technique to reduce edge effects markedly compared with the single-configuration technique and its ease of operation without applying correction factors for sample size and thickness.

  • 염화제이석을 출발물질로 하여 예열을 병용한 광무부착방식으로 유리 박판 위에 SnOf수명전극을 형성시켜 그의 Sheet 무항과 광투과률에 미치는 Sb연가량와 영향을 실행적으로 검토하였다. Sheet 저항을 전극작성시의 기판유리의 표면 온도가 높을수록 낮아지며 백색광에 대한 투과률을 Sheet 저항저하와 더불어 증가되는데 최대 약 93{%)였다. 기판표면온도는 700(℃) 부근이 적당하며 같은 표이온도의 경우 출발물질에서의 Sb/Sn의 비율이 약 0.6(%)일 경우 최저의 저항치를 얻을 수 있었다. Transparent eloctroaes of polycrystalline till-oxide films doped with antimony are prepared on the substrate of microscopic cover g1ass by modified spray method and from SnCl4 Solution. Their electrical and optical properties are investigated in relation to the surface temperature of the substrate glass and to antimony concentration in the starting materials. The sheet·resiststrace of the film electrodes and transmittance for incandescent light depen on tile antimony concentration and surface temperature of substrates at the time of making films. The transmittance increases with decrease of sheet resistance of the film. The optimum sheet·resistance was obtianed in the case of the antimony concentration 0.6(%) approximately , and the max. transmittance was 93(%).

  • In this paper, we analyze the electrical characteristics of PV depending on distance among solar cells before and after lamination process. From the result, the PV module's maximum power increases about 3.37% when solar cells's distance is 10mm. And the maximum power increases up to 8.42% when solar cells's maximum distance is 50mm. It is assumed that PV module's surface temperature decreases because of increasing distance between solar cells that would give high power generation. Also, short distance between solar cell and frame result in contamination on glass. When considering reduced maximum power caused by contaminant, from that. we can fabricated PV module of lower cost with high performance.

  • We studied the dielectric properties and voltage dependence on slice XLPE sheet from 22 kV and 154 kV power cables. Interface structures are XLPE/semiconductor and XLPE/water/semiconductor capacitance and tan6 of 22 kV, 154 kV were 52/42 pF and $7.4\times{10}/^{-4}, 2.15\times{10}^{-4}$, respectively in these results, the trend was increased with the increase of temperature the tan$\delta$ of XLPE/semiconductive layer and XLPE/water/ semiconductive layer were increased as compared with that of XLPE Temperature reliability of tan$\delta$ was small.

  • This study used EPR's sheet and cable as a specimen, and measured residual voltage depending on the induced voltage, thickness of the sheet, and shape of the sheet and cable. The results of the study lead to the following conclusion: 1) The residual voltage increased in proportion to the induced voltage as time increases; 2) The residual voltage of the basic mixed specimen and practical mixed specimen increased as time increased; 3) The peak of the cable appeared earlier than that of the sheet in both of the basic mixed specimen and practical mixed specimen.
