도시철도용 구동기어의 설계 요소에 대한 소음 기여도 분석 (Noise Source Identification of the Design Elements of the Driving Gear for the Urban Railway)

  • As the railway noise guideline of the Ministry of Environment after 2017 is strictly enforced, the noise level at stationary condition of urban railway is demanding the reduction about 2 dB(A). And the noise level at running condition is reduced by 6 dB(A) at 80 km/h. Therefore, the devices that causes noise shall arrange for the improvement plan of noise reduction for each device. In this paper, we carried out a technical review of the driving gear used to drive the vehicle from a variety of noise-induced equipment of a urban railway. Analyze the causes of the current noise levels and noise cause about the driving gear used in current urban railway and this study analyzes the noise level and noise cause the drive gear being used in the current urban railway. Finally, in this paper proposes a scheme for reducing the noise that can be designed to reduce the noise with considering the noise cause analysis.

  • Current freight electric locomotives (132 ton) of the eco-friendly and can carry large cargo logistics as a means of generation has increased the demand at home and abroad. Especially, Freight electric locomotives to increase the traction, it is easy to mass and rapid transport. In addition, Freight electric locomotives is no exhaust and low noise compared to diesel -electric locomotives and it can be eco-friendly transportation. CO_CO BOGIE of Freight electric locomotives has no the center pivot and Traction_Rod and Spring of CO_CO BOGIE is mounted on the body. These freight electric locomotives to be satisfied with the safety regulations. Carbody development satisfied Implementation of optimum body and collision is the focus. Accordingly, the different approach in the upper and lower carbody structure and interior and equipment placement is needed. On this paper, the contents give explanation of cases on carbody design composed of freight electric locomotives now developed and process of improvement by structure analysis and collision analysis.

표준화된 알루미늄 전동차의 개발 (Development of the Standardized Aluminum Electric Motor Car)

  • In this paper, design and construction process for the standardized electric motor car according to standard specification is described. Aluminum extrusion profiles and power and control system made domestically are used in the electric motor car. Also, plug-sliding door system for noise reduction and automatic train control system are developed and applied. Through the development of the electric motor car, most electric and control systems can be substituted by domestic standard systems, and safety and reliability of electric motor cars can be secured.

  • Objectives : The mechanical properties of Korean electric cupping systems are studied via experimental measurements. The study aimed at establishing the fundamentals of industrialization and systemization of oriental medicine device industry, as well as improving the quality of life for many Koreans. Methods : We reviewed the studies on traditional cupping as well as modern one to fine necessary factors for electric cupping systems. To characterize the mechanical properties of Korean electric cupping systems, we measured the pressure characteristics of commercially available electric cupping system by using an automatic pressure acquisition system and a standard cup. The pumping capability was checked at 40 seconds, and the stability of the suction cup was checked at 600 seconds. We also acquired the noise level of each system in clinical setting. To check the portability of each system, we also measured its physical dimensions. We scrutinized system manuals provided by the system manufacturers. Results : It took less than 5 second to reach the pressure if the connection between the air hose and the vacuum valve of the cupping system was secure. Pressure diminished to no more than 10% for 600s for all systems. Noise levels were 55~70 dB. Increase in pressure was too fast to control for a designated vacuum level except for one product. Conclusions : The Pumping ability of the systems is impressive and reliable. Pressure retention ability of each cup is quite reliable and reproducible. Therefore, their mechanical performances were worthy of recommendation. Some of them had noise level higher than 60 dB and they were bothersome. It was also suggested that the control for low to middle pressure needed to be accomplished by the cupping system.

  • The engine mount of vehicle systems is role of support engine mass and isolate noise and vibration from engine disturbance forces. One of attractive candidates to achieve this goai is to utilize a semi-active ER engine mount. By applying this, we can effectively control damping force and hence the noise and vibration by just controlling the intensity of electric field. However, control performance of the engine mount may be very sensitive to temperature variation during engine operation. In this work, we Investigate dynamic performances of ER engine mount with respect to the temperature variation. In order to undertake this, a flow-mode type of ER engine mount is designed and manufactured. Displacement transmissibility is experimentally and numerically evaluated as a function of the electric field. The ER engine mount is then incorporated with full-vehicle model in order to investigate vibration control performance. After formulating the governing equation of motion, a semi-active controller is designed. The controller is implemented through a hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS), and control responses such as acceleration level at various engine speeds are evaluated in the frequency and time domains.

  • Corona characteristics of conductors are dependent on the electric field conditions in the immediate vicinity of the conductors. In case of DC transmission line, particularly, the space charge plays an important role in the electric field distribution. Therefore, DC corona cage simulation is necessary for long-term test in the same conditions. This paper presents the results of designing and constructing hardwares such as DC power supply, measurement system and DAS to carry out the simulation. The corona cage longitudinally is divided into five equal length sections and three inner sections of those are isolated from the ground of outer cage. The measurement items are radio noise, corona current, television noise, audible noise and meteorological conditions. In the next step, various simulations about the type and configuration of two or three candidate conductors will be conducted. And then finally an environmentally-friendly conductor for HVDC overhead transmission line will be decided.

  • With the increasing the importance of emotional quality of vehicle, the sound quality of systems with electric motor components has become increasingly important. Electric motors are used for windows, seats, sun roof, mirrors, steering columns, windshield wiper, climate control blowers, etc. In this paper, a study was conducted to identify sound quality factors that contribute to customer's satisfaction and preference of the window lift system. Jury test for subjective evaluation was carried out and sound quality index was developed. Averaged sound pressure level and sharpness were significant factors when glass moves down. Also, maximum loudness at stop section and averaged loudness were significant factor when glass moves up. Noise source identification was carried out for the reduced the loudness and sharpness during glass transferred section and impulsive noise at stop section, Using the source identification result, several improvement points were applied. And finally, the degree of sound quality improvement was judged using sound quality index.

송전철탑 Compact화에 따른 전기환경 영향 연구 (A Study on the Environmental Effects of Compact Tower in Transmission Line)

  • The continuous increase demand for electric power leads to the additional construction of transmission facilities, but it is not easy to acquire right-of-way for transmission facilities. Therefor, there is a need for compact tower that can be built on a narrow right-of-way the compact tower with polymer insulation arm is a solution. It can be upgrading conventional 154 kV transmission line voltages to 345 kV levels. However transmission voltage is increasing, environment interference (corona noise, radio interference, etc.) will occur gradually. This environment interference is depending on the electrical clearances of tower and configuration of conductors. Therefore the analysis of the factors of environmental interference is necessary in order to upgrading transmission voltage. This paper presents the design factor of a compact tower to meet the environmental interference standard.

  • The solution for PFC(Power Factor Correction), as a regulation in energy Policy, is becoming a hot Issue in every country because of the shortage of electrical energy. Therefore, a new improved idea for PFC problem has been introduced in this study. A lot of merits, effective cost by simple circuit, reduced PCB size, lighter than reactor in the view of weight, lower level of screen noise by leakage inductance in CTV applications, have been stated by comparing to the earlier method of using a Reactor. All test results in this statement were done by using a power device of STR-G9600 series based on the real load condition of color television. furthermore, the study shows that the test results also meets the IEC-1000-3-2 class D, which regulates the PFC when input power of a set is more than 75watts. More improved PFC in other applications hopes to be implemented by using the proposed method.
