배전선로 부하량 및 발전량 분석을 통한 신재생 접속허용용량 기준 상향에 대한 연구 (Increasing Hosting Capacity of Distribution Feeders by Analysis of Generation and Consumption)

  • 본 논문은 신재생을 배전계통에 추가 수용하기 위해 배전계통의 접속허용기준을 상향하여 운전하는 방안을 검토하고 실증한 결과를 분석하는 내용을 다룬다. 대한민국의 배전계통의 경우, 일반적인 공용배전선로는 최대 10 MVA까지 신재생이 접속할 수 있도록 규정하고 있으며 신재생으로 인해 발생하는 역조류에 의해 계통전압이 전기사업법에서 지정한 범위를 초과하지 않아야 한다. 그러나 배전계통에 상시 존재하는 최소부하 및 발전원의 발전 특성에 따라 신재생을 추가 접속할 수 있는 여유용량이 존재할 수 있음을 고려해야 한다. 따라서 배전계통의 접속허용용량 기준 상향 검토를 위해, 신재생이 접속허용한도인 10 MVA만큼 최대한 접속된 상황에서 모든 신재생이 배전계통운영자에 의해 감시되고 있는 배전선로를 선정하여 단계적인 추가 접속을 시행하였다. 신재생으로 인한 배전계통의 전력조류와 전압 프로파일 영향을 분석함으로써 현재의 기준을 초과하여 신재생을 접속 시킬 때 발생 가능한 계통영향 분석과 더불어 향후 고려해야할 요인을 정의한다.

  • 전기로 슬래그는 철강 생산 공정에서 발생되는 산업 부산물로서 그 발생량이 꾸준히 증가하고 있어 효율적인 재활용 방안이 요구되고 있다. 전기로 슬래그는 f-CaO 및 f-MgO에 기인한 팽창성이 우려되어 대부분이 노반재로 사용되었지만, 현재는 체적안정성을 확보한 전기로 산화 슬래그를 콘크리트용 골재로 사용하는 것이 가능하게 되었다. 이 연구에서는 콘크리트용 전기로 산화 슬래그 골재를 사용한 RC 보의 부착 특성에 관하여 고찰하기 위해 부착 파괴를 유도한 Ichinose식 단순보형 실험을 실시하였다. 실험 결과, 전기로 산화 슬래그 골재를 사용한 실험체는 천연골재를 사용한 경우보다 동등 이상의 부착 성능을 발휘하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 전기로 산화 슬래그 굵은골재를 사용한 실험체는 콘크리트 압축강도의 영향을 고려하여도 천연골재보다 1.5배 이상의 높은 부착 강도를 나타내었다.

  • It is fascinated research theme to store electric energy as much as possible and to utilize it at the point of proper time. Especially, the demand for energy storage devices has been increased based on the interest for distributed generation and smartgrid. As the results for a number of researches on it, various types of energy storage devices have been developed. Each devices have its own dynamic characteristics, power capacity, and storage capacity followed by storage mechanism. In this paper, the comparison research for various energy storage devices has been performed based on power capacity, storage capacity, discharging time, lifetime, efficiency, and cost. Application researches of SFES(superconducting flywheel energy storage), characterized as 300kW-100kWh, have been performed also.

  • This paper has calculated DSM's latent capacity through a survey investigating electric arc furnaces in over 2,000 toe companies and related organizations. The latent capacity of DSM calculated with the same time load factor is considered in this paper. The time load factor depends on the probability of each electric arc furnace of the value to work and the consideration of experts and technician's experience. Also, this paper verifies the reliability and application of unposed capacity which compared the old latent capacity of Load Management with KEMCO and KEPCO's Direct Load Control gathering capacity.

신재생에너지 예측을 위한 송전선로의 계량 데이터 계산 방법 (Calculation Method of Dedicated Transmission Line's Meteological Data to Forecast Renewable Energy)

  • This paper introduce Renewable Energy forecasting technology, which is a part of renewable management system. Then, calculation method of dedicated transmission line's meteorological data to forecast renewable energy is suggested. As the case of dedicated transmission line, there is only power output data combined the number of renewable plants' output that acquired from circuit breakers. So it is need to calculate meteorological data for dedicated transmission line that matched combined power output data. this paper suggests two calculation method. First method is select the plant has the largest capacity, and use it's meteorological data as line meteorological data. Second method is average with weight that given according to plants' capacity. In case study, suggested methods are applied to real data. Then use calculated data to Renewable forecasting and analyze the forecasting results.

  • In this study, the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations were conducted to verify the cooling capacity of the cryocooler used for pre-cooling of hydrogen gas. Based on the experimental results, the effect of the flow rate on a copper pipe attached to the bottom of the cryocooler was investigated. In this study, the temperature data was calculated through the change of boundary condition for heat flux in the copper pipe. In addition, the cooling capacity of the cryocooler for pre-cooling hydrogen gas was considered by calculating the cooling temperature according to the flow rate in the certified operating range. Consequently the pre-cooing system for hydrogen gas was validated with a reasonable accuracy through CFD simulations.

시험선로 결빙방지를 위한 융설시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Snow Melting System for the Anti-freezing Testing Road)

  • The snow melting system by electric heating wires which is adopted in this study is a part of road facilities to keep surface temperature of the road higher than freezing point of water for melting the snow accumulated on it. The system is designed to increase traffic safety and capacity. The electric heating wires are buried under paved road at a certain depth and operated automatically and manually. Design theory, amount of heating, and installation standard vary according to economic situation, weather condition, and installation place where the system applies. It is tried to figure out that the appropriate range of required heat capacity and installation depth and intervals for solving snowdrifts and freezing problems with the minimum electric power consumption. The most important factors to design the system are calculation of heating capacity depending on weather condition and depth and interval of the electric heating wires depending on air condition respectively. The study were performed under the range of the air temperatures($-2^{\circ}C,\;-5^{\circ}C,\;-8^{\circ}C$), the intervals of the electric heating wires(70mm, 100mm, 125mm), and the installation depths(50mm, 70mm, 100mm). The ready made commercial program package was used to verify the experimental results.

Analysis on Temperature Distribution and Current-Carrying Capacity of GIL Filled with Fluoronitriles-CO2 Gas Mixture

  • Fluoronitriles-$CO_2$ gas mixtures are promising alternatives to $SF_6$ in environmentally-friendly gas-insulated transmission lines (GILs). Insulating gas heat transfer characteristics are of major significance for the current-carrying capacity design and operational state monitoring of GILs. In this paper, a three-dimensional calculation model was established for a GIL using the thermal-fluid coupled finite element method. The calculated results showed close agreement with experimentally measured data. The temperature distribution of a GIL filled with the Fluoronitriles-$CO_2$ mixture was obtained and compared with those of GILs filled with $CO_2$ and $SF_6$. Furthermore, the effects of the mixture ratio of the component gases and the gas pressure on the temperature rise and current-carrying capacity of the GIL were analyzed. Results indicated that the heat transfer performance of the Fluoronitriles-$CO_2$ gas mixture was better than that of $CO_2$ but worse than that of $SF_6$. When compared with $SF_6$, use of the Fluoronitriles-$CO_2$ gas mixture caused a reduction in the GIL's current-carrying capacity. In addition, increasing the Fluoronitriles gas component ratio or increasing the pressure of the insulating gas mixture could improve the heat dissipation and current-carrying capacity of the GIL. These research results can be used to design environmentally-friendly GILs containing Fluoronitriles-$CO_2$ gas mixtures.

  • Recent environmental issues such as exhaust gas and greenhouse effect make the agricultural machinery market takes into account the hybrid and electric propulsion technology used in automotive engineering. Generally the agricultural machinery, particularly an agricultural tractor, needs large load capacity and long continuous operating time comparing with conventional vehicles. In case of a pure electric tractor, it is necessary for considering large capacity batteries and long charging time. Therefore we take an AER extended PHEV (All Electric Range extended Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) power transmission system in developing an electric tractor in this study. First we propose a PHEV powertrain structure in order to substitute the conventional diesel engine equipped tractor. And we performed the road tests using a conventional mechanical tractor with various load conditions, which were classified and statistically treated real agricultural works. The test results were analysed with respect to the power characteristics of the power source. Finally using the test result, we designed two-stepped reduction gear ratios in the proposed an electric tractor powertrain for carrying out typical agricultural works.

  • This paper uses Monte Carlo technique, which is one of probabilistic methods of estimating the economical quantity of electric power generation in consideration of voltage stability in the aspect of power generation companies. In the power exchange system in Korea, when power generation companies participate in tenders for power generation capacity at the power exchange, they need to determine their power supply capacity considering the stability of electric power system. Thus, we purposed to propose an algorithm for estimating economical power generation capacity in theaspect of power generation companies, through which we can estimate the margin for voltage stability through P-V curve analysis by capacity according to the change of power generation capacity in a simulated system and to conduct Monte Carlo simulation in consideration of the margin
