This study numerically investigates thermal comfort in a space cooled by the floor-supply air conditioning system, in which three different supply-return locations, one floor supply-ceiling return and two floor supply-floor returns, are treated. A complementary experiment is peformed to validate the present numerical analysis, and the prediction agrees favorably with the measured data. In the numerical procedure, a simplified model mimicking the inlet flow through the diffuser is developed for efficient simulations. The calculated results show that the ceiling return type is far better in thermal comfort than the floor return ones within the extent of this study, which seems to be caused by effective vertical penetration of the supply air against natural convection. It is also revealed that the arrangement of port locations in the floor supply-floor return system has insignificant effect on the cooling performance. For selecting a proper system, other characteristics including the heating performance should be accounted for simultaneously with the present estimation.

Heat dissipation in the domestic switching room has been gradually increased. Therefore, numerical study on the cooling characteristics of the telecommunication system in a switching room for three kinds of the air supply and return flow system was investigated to develop effective flow system. As a result, the cooling performance of the under floor air supply and overhead return flow system was the best.

In this study, an optimization technique was developed from the application of allocation rule. The results obtained from the water supply analysis and reliability indices analysis of Andong dam and Imha dam which are consist of parallel reservoir system are summarized as the followings; Allocation rule(C) is effective technique at the parallel reservoir system because results of the water supply analysis, storage analysis and reliability indices analysis is calculated reasonable results. Also, reliability indices analysis results are not sufficient occurrence based reliability or quantity based reliability. Thus reliability indices analysis are need as occurrence based reliability, quantity based reliability vulnerability, resilience, average water supply deficits and average storage. And water supply condition is better varying water supply condition than constant water supply condition.

수소의 대표적인 공급방식에는 집중식과 분산식이 있다. 경제성 측면에서 대량수소사용을 위해 집중식이 유리하지만 막대한 공급인프라 구축비용이 단기간에 소요되는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 기존의 천연가스배관에 수소를 혼합공급하는 방법이 주목받고 있다. 본 논문에서의 수소혼합공급의 환경적 유용성을 타수소공급방안과 비교하여 분석한 결과에 의하면 수소혼합공급이 환경적으로 유익하며, 특히 지구온난화 감소에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Although stable and safe drinking water supply to the customers is a basic function of multi-regional water supply systems in Korea, most systems have their vulnerabilities in emergency time due to the branch-type. Application of connections from the other water supply system can provide a solutions for these tentative problems. This paper describes reduction planning of water supply accidents that can minimize a service interruption to customers in multi-regional water supply system by connecting pipe lines between local water supply systems in Mokpo city areas. The result of this study shows that Juam dam multi-regional water supply systems can cover all of the water shortage in southern parts of Jeonnam multi-regional water supply systems by transmitting water through connected pipes between local networks. This can be effective to supply water interactively in various contingencies, when a pipe line accident occurs in southern area of Jeonnam multi-regional water supply systems. On the contrary, southern area of Jeonnam multi-regional water supply systems can cover 99.5 %($62,500m^3/day$) of the water shortage of Juam dam multi-regional water supply systems when service interruptions caused by various pipe accidents occur in the system.

A discharge free Electro-Rheological Squeeze Film Damper (ER-SFD) with predetermined-clearances at leakage ends can inherently eliminate electric discharge problems while still supplying stable leakage control. Test results show that the damping force of the slotted-ring ER-SFD is mainly affected by electric voltage, oil supply pressure, position of the damper and ratio of effective surface area of slotted-rings. As the supply voltage is larger, the amplitudes of both slotted ER-SFD and rotor are decreased at first and second critical speeds. The influence of the oil supply pressure and the effective surface area ratio was shown mainly near the first critical speed. The effective surface area ratio of slotted-rings influences the reduction of flexible rotor vibration. As a result, experimental results confirm that the slotted-ring ER-SFD satisfactorily controls the flexible rotor vibration, while eliminates the inherent electric discharge problems in conventional ER-SFDs.

Information sharing is key to effective supply chain management. In reality, however, it is impossible to get perfect information. Accordingly, only uncertain information can be accessed in business environment, and thus it is important to deal with the uncertainties of information in managing supply chains. This study adopts meteorological forecast as a typical uncertain information. The meteorological events may affect the demands for various weather-sensitive goods, such as beer, ices, clothes, electricity etc. In this study, a beer distribution game is modified by introducing meterological forecast information provided in a probabilistic format. The behavior patterns of the modified beer supply chains are investigated. for two conditions using the weather forecast with or without an information sharing. A value score is introduced to generalize the well-known performance measures employed in the study of supply chains, i.e.. inventory, backlog, and deviation of orders. The simulation result showed that meterological forecast information used in an information sharing environment was more effective than without information sharing, which emphasizes the synergy of uncertain information added to the information sharing environment.

Managers have come to realized that a large and increasing amount of sources for a corporate competitive advantage can be found in their company's supply chain. At a fundamental level, there is a similar consensus that building a collaborative supply management is a more effective way of managing firms' supply chains. This paper is an attempt to examine the effects of collaborative supply management by probing a mechanism which shows how competences and/or performance are transferred from suppliers to markets through the supply chains. Research hypotheses regarding the relationships between collaborative supply management, supplier Performance, buyer internal performance (new product development and operational performance), and buyer market performance were empirically validated by utilizing a structural equation modeling analysis. The research result Indicates the positive impacts of a collaborative supply chain on supply performance as well as buyer internal and market performance, which also well illustrate how the improved competence and/or performance of suppliers engendered from the supplier-buyer collaboration flows throughout the entire supply chain.

This Work intends to study on some issues of business and law in relation to Contract for Turnkey Base System. The continuing advance of export system of the plant with the importance for efficient and effective management emphasizes the need for business and legal approach to uniform international model contract. ICC Model Contract for Turnkey Supply of Industrial Plant by ICC covers a particular category of turnkey contract, i.e. contracts for the supply of a plant or production line to be erected within facilities which already exist or which are constructed by the purchaser. Furthermore, the application of the ICC Model Contract for Turnkey Supply of Industrial Plant leaves much to be desired from a business and legal point of view. Therefore, there would appear to be room for compromise between the supplier and purchaser in respect to make a contact for Turnkey supply of industrial plant.
