  • This paper proposes a algorithm for several mobile robots navigation. There are three parts in this algorithm. First part generates robots turning angle and moving distance for goal approaching, sencond part generates robots avoiding angle and avoiding distance for static obstacles or other robots and third part adjust between robots moving distance and avoiding distance. Most simulation results of this algorithm are very effective for several mobile robots traveling in unknown field.

재식거리 및 파종기 이동에 따른 수수자원의 분얼발생 및 생장 특성 (Effect of Planting Distance and Seeding Date on the Tiller Occurrence, Growth Characteristics of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) Resources)

  • 재식밀도 및 파종기 이동이 수수의 분얼발생 및 생육 수량에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 기계화 수확을 위한 분얼양상 및 생육특성에 대한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 수행한 결과 재식밀도에 따른 분얼경수는 조간 60 cm보다 80 cm에서 많았으며, 주간거리가 30 cm로 늘어날수록 증가하였다. 유효경비율은 조간 60 cm가 80 cm보다 높았으며, 주간거리가 15 cm에서 30 cm로 늘어날수록 감소하여 재식밀도가 낮아질수록 분얼경수가 증가하였으며, 유효경비율은 감소하였다. 파종기 이동에 따른 수수 3품종 분얼경수는 5월 2일 파종기(1차)에서 가장 높았으며, 파종기가 늦어질수록 분얼경수가 감소하였으며, 유효경 비율은 5월 23일(2차) 파종기에서 가장 높았다. 품종별로는 황금찰이 분얼경수가 1.2개로 가장 많았으며, 목탁수수가 0.8개로 가장 적었다. 재식밀도에 따른 수수의 출수소요일과 성숙소요일은 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 밀식할수록 간장은 증가하였으나 수장, 수당립수, 천립중 모두 감소하였다. 수량은 재식밀도 $60{\times}20cm$에서 가장 높았다. 파종기가 늦어질수록 출수소요일, 성숙소요일, 간장 및 경직경은 감소하였으나 수장과 수당립수는 증가하였다. 주경의 천립중과 수당립수는 6월 13일(3차) 파종기에서 가장 높았으며, 수량은 5월 2일(1차) 파종기에서 가장 많았다.

병원내 심폐소생술 모형에서 환자와 구조자의 거리 및 위치에 따른 가슴압박의 질 비교 (Comparisons of the qualities of chest compression according to various positions of rescuer to patient at the in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation model)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to evaluate the distance and location of the rescuer to patient for the effective chest compressions qualities. Methods: The subjects were 42 students who earned the basic lifesaving technique and had informed consents to participate in the study from May 1 to 20 in 2013. The position of the rescuers included model-0(reference point), model-1(10 cm distance), model-2(20 cm distance), and model-kn(kneeling up). Results: The mean depth of compression was $50.6{\pm}6.6mm$ in Model-0, $48.7{\pm}8.2mm$ in Model-1, $44.2{\pm}10.4mm$ in Model-2, and $51.8{\pm}6.0mm$ in Model-kn. There were statistically significant differences between each Model(p<.001). Conclusion: The closer distance between rescuer and patient could provide more effective chest compressions. Kneeling on the bed stance provided the deeper chest compression consistently than the stool stance.

  • Purpose: The current study seeks to examine the effects of stabilizing reversal(SR) and rhythmic stabilization(RS) in proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques on static balance in normal female adults. Methods: Subjects included 20 healthy women in their 20s. They were randomly divided into SR and RS groups. To assess static balance before and after PNF intervention, the good balance system was used to measure the interior and exterior center of pressure (COP) movement distance, front and rear COP movement distance before and after the intervention, and velocity moment. Results: Interior and exterior COP movement distance, front and rear COP movement distance, and velocity moment decreased in the SR group, but no statistically significant differences were observed. In the RS group, the interior and exterior COP movement distance declined without any significant difference, while the front and rear COP movement distance and velocity moment significantly decreased. The interior and exterior COP movement distance, front and rear COP movement distance, and velocity moment declined more in the RS group than in the SR group. Conclusion: The findings of the current study indicate that the RS technique is more effective than the SR technique for improving the balance ability of healthy female adults. The results of this study can thus be utilized in the selection of effective interventions for improving the balance ability of healthy female adults.

  • This article identifies the problems and substantiates the directions for the development of distance learning technologies in the training of personnel. An example of using digital media to create a remote access laboratory is given. The article is devoted to the definition of the main aspects of the organization of distance education. Rapid digitization, economic, political and social changes taking place in Ukraine necessitate the reform of the education system. First of all, it concerns meeting the educational needs of citizens throughout their lives, providing access to educational and professional training for all who have the necessary abilities and adequate training. The most effective solution to the above-mentioned problems is facilitated by distance learning. The article analyzes the essence and methods of distance learning organization, reveals the features of the use of electronic platforms for the organization of this form of education in different countries of the world. The positive characteristics of distance learning are identified, namely: extraterritoriality; savings on transport costs; the interest of modern youth in the use of information tools in everyday life; increase in the number of students; simplicity and accessibility of training; convenient consultation system; democratic relations between the student and the teacher; convenience for organizations in training their employees without interrupting their regular work; low level of payment for distance education compared to traditional education; individual learning pace; new teacher status. Among the negative features of online education, the author refers to the following problems: authentication of users during knowledge verification, calculation of the teacher's methodological load and copyright of educational materials; the high labor intensity of developing high-quality educational content and the high cost of distance learning equipment; the need to provide users with a personal computer and access to the Internet; the need to find and use effective motivation mechanisms for education seekers.

  • 가상공간이 교수-학습 목적의 가능성을 인정받아감에 따라 가상원격교육체제에의 관심이 집중되고 있다. 2001년 3월 학위를 수여하는 원격대학의 정식개교를 앞두고 가상원격의 방법으로 진행되는 교육에 대한 기대가 팽배해 있는가 하면 동시에 그 교육의 질에 대한 우려가 강하게 제기되고 있는 것 또한 사실이다. 이에 본 연구는 교육의 새로운 환경으로 빠르게 성장해가고 있는 가상원격교육체제의 질을 총체적으로 관리, 평가할 수 있는 준거모형을 5개 영역으로 구분하여 개발, 제시해 보았다. 새롭게 부각되고 있는 가상원격교육체제의 질 관리를 위한 평가 준거의 정립은 매우 중요함에도 그 동안 새로운 체제를 평가할 수 있는 통합적 모형이 미비했음을 감안하면 가상원격교육체제의 평가에 이론적 기초가 되는 본 평가모형의 구안은 체제의 총체적 평가 및 질 관리에 유용한 지침을 제공해 줄 것으로 판단된다.

Smart AGV system using the 2D spatial map

  • In this paper, the method for an effective and intelligent route decision of the automatic ground vehicle (AGV) using a 2D spatial map of the stereo camera system is proposed. The depth information and disparity map are detected in the inputting images of a parallel stereo camera. The distance between the automatic moving robot and the obstacle detected and the 2D spatial map obtained from the location coordinates, and then the relative distance between the obstacle and the other objects obtained from them. The AGV moves automatically by effective and intelligent route decision using the obtained 2D spatial map. From some experiments on robot driving with 480 frames of the stereo images, it is analyzed that error ratio between the calculated and measured values of the distance between the objects is found to be very low value of 1.57% on average, respectably.

Content similarity matching for video sequence identification

  • To manage large database system with video, effective video indexing and retrieval are required. A large number of video retrieval algorithms have been presented for frame-wise user query or video content query, whereas a few video identification algorithms have been proposed for video sequence query. In this paper, we propose an effective video identification algorithm for video sequence query that employs the Cauchy function of histograms between successive frames and the modified Hausdorff distance. To effectively match the video sequences with a low computational load, we make use of the key frames extracted by the cumulative Cauchy function and compare the set of key frames using the modified Hausdorff distance. Experimental results with several color video sequences show that the proposed algorithm for video identification yields remarkably higher performance than conventional algorithms such as Euclidean metric, and directed divergence methods.

지하 매설 교차 관망 내 강.연성관의 상호작용에 관한 연구 (Study for Rigid and Flexible Pipe Interaction at the Crossing Point of Underground Pipeline Network)

  • 본 연구는 지중에서 배관이 교차할 때 상부 강성관이 하부 연성관에 영향을 미치는 유효 깊이와 유효 길이에 대한 개념을 이용하여 두 매설 배관의 교차 정도와 배관 사이의 거리에 따른 하부 매설 배관의 영향범위를 파악 하고자한다. 이를 위하여 상부 배관과 하부 배관을 각각 원심력 철근콘크리트관과 가스수송용 강관으로 구현하였다. 이때 1.0m에 매설된 상부 배관으로부터 하부 배관은 각각 0.5m에서 5m의 매설심도를 가지며 두 배관의 교차각을 0, 30, 60, $90^{\circ}$로 변화하여 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 유효깊이는 두 매설 배관의 교차각이 증가함에 따라 증가하며, 두 매설관 사이의 거리가 증가함에 따라 감소하다 일정 값으로 수렴하게 된다. 또한 두 교차 배관의 교차 각 증가에 따른 유효길이와 휨응력 합의 관계를 정리하였다.

사이버교육 효과의 영향요인에 관한 실증적 연구: 공공조직을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on Critical Success Factors in Implementing the Web-Based Distance Learning System : In Case of Public Organization.)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate critical success factors for effective implementation of web-based distance learning system. First of all, four critical success factors are theoretically derived from reviewing previous research. They are: (1) learner-related factor including the variables such as teaming ability, learning attitude, and attending motivation, (2) environmental factor including the variables of physical and mental support for learners, (3) instructional design factor represented by one variable, the degree of appropriateness of learning contents, and (4) the factor concerning the level of self-directed learning readiness embracing the variables such as curiosity for learning, openness towards challenge of learning and affection for learning. Subsequently, the relationships between these four critical success factors and the degree of learning satisfaction are empirically investigated. The data for empirical analysis of the research are collected from 1,020 respondents who have already passed the web-based distance learning courses which have been implemented in Information and Communication Officials Training Institute. Out of 1,020 responded questionnaires, 875 data were available for statistical analyses. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the most important factor for successful implementation of the web-based distance learning system is shown to be the instructional design factor, and in the next place, the self-directed learning readiness factor, the environmental factor and the learner-related one in sequence. Secondly, additional analysis of the variables included in the instructional design factor shows that availability of practical information and knowledge is the most influencing variable, and next, interesting composition of contents, reasonable learning amount, optimal level of instruction, and understandable explanation are significantly important in the descending order. Lastly, among learning motivators, strong intention of acquiring business knowledges and skills is found to be the most important satisfier in the web-based distance learning. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing the web-based distance learning system. And, the practical implication of this study is to propose efficient and effective guidelines for developing and operating the web-based distance learning system in the various kinds of organizations.
