In the Republic of Korea, mathematics has always been a major blame for huge private expenditures on so-called "private education," which consists of private tutoring and lessons at "private academies of extra curricula." The private spending on out-of-school education often exceeded public expenditures on schools. In 1997, South Korean Ministry of Education reformed curriculum of mathematics along with other subjects to ease the burden of private education. The aim of this curriculum change was to put a boost on individual students' interests, affections and other attributes toward school mathematics. The essential distinctiveness of the new curriculum of mathematics compared with the previous one is as follows: 1. The implementation of so-called "differentiated curriculum" for grades 1-10. 2. 30% reduction of contents in mathematics and the reconciliation of contents. 3. Elective subjects for mathematics for grades 11 and 12. 4. More uses of technology in mathematics teaching. Firstly, we examine the background of the curriculum reform and analyze the new curriculum according to awareness of educational administrators, teaching environments of schools and readiness of mathematics teachers. Then we find out what kinds of problems it has and look for some suggestions for remedies.

This study was conducted by community survey of 215 community health practitiner's posts and literature review of official documents. The result was as follows ; 1. The role and responsibility of community health practitioner's post must be studied by the community health practitioner and the community health leader, and on the basement of community health needs, community development plan, and reforom of health care system. 2. Comprehensive health care of community is very important role and responsibility of community health practitioners. However, it was supervised by the senior community health practitioner in provincial government. 3. The community health practitioner must be trained by formal inservice educational program focused on comprehensive health care. 4. The community health practitoner must be the health guider and health leader as the member of community.

The paper describes the major developments in agricultural engineering education at Silsoe College in the U.K. over the period 1960 to the present. It seeks to relate these developments to the profound changes which have taken plane in the agricultural , agricultural engineering, food and allied industries during the past three decades which are outlined. The emergence of deep public concerns about environmental and animal welfare issues combined with the reform of Europe's Common Agricultural Policy (C.A.P). now in train have had a major impact on the evolution of educational provision within the College and on the profit of its research. It is concluded that prospects for the discipline and profession remain healthy provided the new agenda is addressed.

School library is the place of educational meeting and cultural communication. School Libraries Promotion Act legislated in 2007 bring about library law's unity absence, the subject of works, arrangement standard of professional personnel, establishment of contents and scope, and matter of qualification and so on. This study investigated the process established of School Libraries Promotion Act, a proposal bill, a purpose bill, and the main contents. As a result it is to propose revision of bill after analysis of the question enacted School Libraries Promotion Act.

Teachers are overwhelmed not only by teaching but also by school and classroom managerial works. Many of those managerial works are repeated through a year. One way to reduce teachers' work significantly is making a software to replace those repeated managerial works. The purpose of this study is developing the software for the Classroom management, It will lessen down teacher's burden of classroom related managerial works and will allow teachers to concentrate on teaching. We expect that the software decreases the problem caused by time when teacher try to manage open education, and make the open education successful.

One of the most fundamental problems in education in Korea up to yet is that teaching-learning activities in the classroom are carried out without considering each student\\`s interest, ability aptitude and other attributes. In 1995, National committee on Educational Reform of Korea recommended big changes on various aspects of the education system of the nation. In 1997, just before so-called the \\\"International Monetary Fund (IMF) crisis \\\" in Korea, Ministry of Education announced the seventh amendment of national curriculum. The foundation of new national curriculum is the implementation of a \\\"differentiated\\\" curriculum. Also, the new curriculum strongly suggests \\\"performance assessment\\\", which was introduced to the nation in mid 1990\\`s. However, most mathematics teachers have reluctant to both new curriculum and performance assessment.

This paper presents an analysis of the Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable Future (TLSF) program, an innovative teacher education and regular professional development by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) employing the curriculum analysis framework created by Posner. Using this framework the analyst found that the TLSF design is based on good research in regard to learning, teaching, and assessment now driving efforts to reform environmental teacher education. Ongoing development of the TLSF program in the research setting of an international level permits ever deeper connection with emerging curriculum theory and curriculum practice and allows new linkage as ideas are tested in research classrooms.

This article discusses and reviews the mathematics education of F. Klein who had a leading role in the reform movement of mathematics education from the late 19th century. We are mainly investigated the 'Erlanger Antrittsrede' in 1872 that showed Klein's view on early mathematics education and the 'Meraner Lehrplan f$\"{u}$r Mathematik' in 1905 that Widely known, the basis of the curriculum of modern mathematics education. Based on this, We discusses the educational implications-the purpose and methods of mathematics education, teacher education and so on.

Scientificc inquiry has been a major goal and a vehicle to teach science in schools since Curriculum Reform Era. Based upon the Laudanian philosophy of science, scientific inquiry problems were classified and their characteristics were identified. Science inquiry problems could be classified as empirical and conceptual problems. Empirical problems consist of unsolved, solved, and anomalous problems. Internal and external conceptual problems are included in conceptual problems. Effective teaching methods for solving empirical and conceptual science problems are discussed. The implications of Laudanian philosophy of science for science teaching were also discussed.
