Teachers should actively maintain and improve their ICT competency in today's ever changing information society. A standardized system should now be developed to assist educators when choosing courses to improve their ICT competency. Previous ICT competency studies have only measured one's current ICT abilities rather than analyzing the skills necessary for educators to be successful in the educational system. This study developed an assessment tool to measure the ICT competency levels of CEOs who have the potential to be the decision makers in ICT education. In order to accomplish this, the jobs, duties, and tasks of educational CEOs were analyzed against the ICT Skills Standards for Teachers to determine which ICT skills are required by educational CEOs. Sixty-three questions were extracted from this analysis, guiding educational CEOs in the determination of their own ICT skills level.

The re-locatable military facilities are significant in combat zones with limited infrastructures. Military tents are particularly one of the most essential components in the battlefields, During the offensive operation. This study assesses educational effectiveness of the 4D Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is used to deliver educational information with considering re-locatable military facility construction. Furthermore, the real time for constructing temporary concentration camp was measured, By using analysis of variance associated with the educational effects of the 4D BIM. Statistically, understandability of facility construction using 4D BIM was found to be higher than the conventional educational materials with field manual.

The development of computer and information technology in Korean construction industry is accelerating its speed while the education of Universities regarding to those technology is hardly catching up. Students graduated from schools are having difficulties in adapting themselves into the technology and as a result the industry is operating its own educational problem for the newcomers. This research develops the educational program of computer and information technology in school and therefore enhance the adaptability of the students for the industry. The program is open from 2002 up to 2004 liking two courses and including 10 modules and a project. The educational program consists of computer labs and lectures or seminars. The result of the educational program enables students to understand the computer and information technology used in the industry, an to improve the interest and skills of those, and additionally to motivate themselves into participating the continuous research and development of the technology.

Recently junior colleges in Korea have been working to meet changes in industrial and educational surroundings by establishing new departments, integrating and abolishing existing ones, or adjusting departmental quotas. These endeavors need to be based on analysis of industrial policies, both national and international, and of the industrial trend of the region in which the particular college is located. They also need to take into consideration change in educational policies and the direction of the college's specialization. This study aims to provide some foundation materials for these endeavors. As a result, it has considered changes in industrial and educational surroundings and analyzed the whole spectrum of departments existing at Korean junior colleges, with a focus on business-related ones. To summarize, each college offers departments, having taken into consideration its regional, industrial, and educational environments. The result of this study may be utilized by colleges when they establish new departments, integrate and abolish existing ones, and adjust departmental quotas.

The government supports the various systems on the premise of life-long education for improving the qualification of its people and supporting the lifelong career system. These systems help the educational activities for every generation from the teens. Each government department supports the learning activities for those who are related. In addition, each government department systemizes the regular education for advancing the performance of civil servant, by obliging a self-directed system to their member as well as by reflecting this educational activities in a promotion. This style of learning is provided not only offline but also online. However, not all necessary educational contents is furnished within the department. It is sometimes necessary to cooperate with the commissioned education and a professional educational institution. This thesis suggests three model systems while comparing one another. This paper suggests three system model. The first model is e-contents open place. The second model is e-contents open place. Finally, the suggest model is mixed form.

SNS has been emerging as an educational tool, because of its features such as discussion on course topics, feedback from peers and group collaboration. The purpose of this study is to investigate the affecting factors of learner's attitude and intention to use of SNS in college education. Based on prior studies self-efficacy, educational expectancy, subjective norm, habit and enjoyment were identified as affecting factors. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, all factors(self-efficacy, educational expectancy, subjective norm, habit and enjoyment) were found to be significantly related to the learner's attitude and intention to use. Result shows that educational expectancy and enjoyment are much more significantly related to the learner's attitude and intention to use of SNS in college education. It can provide a guideline of effective strategy for SNS utilization in college education.

This study aims to develop the learning model for efficient culinary practice. Today, the environment of culinary education haw an oversupply of cooks who graduated from a lot of culinary schools. From now on , we should consider the quality than the quantity of culinary education. For improving the quality of culinary education, we have to study the learning model for efficient culinary practice. The learning model for culinary practice is based on the educational psychology and the study theories. For achieving the goal of this research, the educational psychology and learning theories need to be adopted to the teaching skill of culinary practice. It should play a very important role in improving the quality of culinary teaching skill in school. But this study has some limitations in this respect, because of being lack of professional studies and data for the educational psychology and leaning theories in the culinary practice part. The next study is needed the significantly adapting result of educational theories in culinary school.

Compiler course is one of the important courses in computer science. It requires more efficient learning environment because of its large coverage scale and complexity. One of its solutions is to provide the integrated development environment for educational compilers which is enable to give practice-oriented class and enhance student's interest. This paper presents the code generation support system developed in an integrated development environment of educational compiler. Our system helps students to understand the process of code generation and visualizes the relation among the source language, AST, and the target language. It makes students develop their own compilers more easily.

오늘날 요구되는 새로운 인재 교육을 위하여 초 중등학교에 다양한 테크놀로지를 수업에 도입하고자 하는 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현직 초 중등학교 교사 37명을 대상으로 테크놀로지를 도입한 과학수업에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 대부분의 교사들은 과학 수업에서 테크놀로지를 도입하는 것의 효과를 인식하고 있었으나, 구체적으로 실행할 방법적인 측면에서 고민하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 앞으로 테크놀로지를 활용한 과학 교수법을 개발하고, 이를 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 교사들의 수업전문성을 발달시킬 교사 교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 후속연구가 필요하다.

Nowadays, social environment is rapidly changed toward globalization and information age, and which demands the new paradigm for active utilization of information system in the field of education and many others. The effort to adapt tele-communication technique to educational facilities and the planning to make virtual university come true are needed immediately. Intelligent Building system should be applied to educational facilities to cope with the changing and progressing building system. As a result of the surveying eleven domestic universities, it was found that library management system, administration automation system and office automation system were already introduced, but campus infrastructure such as network system and tele-communication system between buildings in campus have been constructed now. As the conclusion of this study, impeding factors and improvement direction for active utilization of intelligent building systems in university facilities were presented.
