Based on the survey of existing academic programs and interviews with entrepreneurs, this study presents a new education system for entrepreneurial management and new venture creation. Specifically, seven venture educational programs are suggested. As degree programs, ⅰ) new venture interdisciplinary program and ⅱ) venture MBA program are presented. Also, ⅲ) advanced venture management program, ⅳ) venture capitalist training program, and ⅴ) potential entrepreneur training program are suggested as non-degree programs. In addition, special and supporting programs such as ⅵ) technological entrepreneurship seminar and vii) new venture forum are explained. Finally, some examples of typical entrepreneurial management courses are presented and policy implications are suggested.

  • The experimental software such as Cabri II, The Geometer's Sketchpad, etc. provides dynamic environment which construct and explore geometric objects interactively and inductively. It has the effects on mathematics itself differently from other technologies that are used in instruction. What is its characteristics\ulcorner What are the educational implication of it for the learning of geometry\ulcorner How is mental reasoning of geometric problems changed by transformation of the means of representation and the environment to manipulate them\ulcorner In this study, we answer these questions through the review of the related literatures and the analysis of textbooks, teaching materials using it and curricular materials. Also, we identify implications about how the criteria for choosing geometic content and the ways of constructing context, for orchestrating the students' exploration with the secondary geometry curriculum, can be changed.

  • Distance learning for students with intellectual disabilities can prove beneficial, particularly if adjusted to their educational characteristics and needs. This study seeks to identify the views of parents living in Saudi Arabia, regarding the opportunities offered by distance learning for students with intellectual disabilities, alongside their challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research employed qualitative methods using semi-structured interviews with six parents of students with intellectual disabilities. The results revealed a number of both opportunities and challenges, including issues related to the family, in addition, the data highlighted difficulties related to the educational process (i.e. a lack of variety of educational methods) and technical issues related to access to the Internet and the insufficient computer skills of both teachers and students. The findings have several important implications for future practice, including the need for training workshops for parents concerning the online platform, as well as further research to determine students' perspectives of their experiences with distance learning.

  • The Korean government initiated an educational policy regulating academic acceleration in schools (e.g., regulating teaching or assessing above-grade-level content) in order to normalize public education and prevent the growth of private tutoring. To analyze whether the policy is achieving its intended goals, this study examined how high school mathematics teachers responded to the policy. The findings indicate four distinct teacher responses: the teachers would teach above-grade-level lessons in classes, but not assess them on a test; the teachers sought academic acceleration to prevent excessive private tutoring, although the policymakers thought that teachers' academic acceleration results in an excessive demand for private tutoring; the teachers were willing to teach above-grade-level content for students, but they were reluctant to teach below-grade-level content due to the time constraints; and the teachers recognized that the policy limited their curricular autonomy, even though it was intended to ensure their autonomy. Implications for mathematics teacher educators and policymakers are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation method for online design education. Online education has established itself as the primary form in the educational field, however, there are unsatisfactory response from instructors and students due to rapid conversion of online education. Due to the transition of educational method, online class contents have become optimized and online educational experiences became accumulated. However, clear education criteria is essential. This study states importance of two parts: establishing an evaluation system based on design thinking for online design education and finding appropriate online platforms for interaction between instructors and students. The research results provide implications for ensuring the efficiency of design education and are expected to contribute significantly to the future education field.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among the elderly's motivation to participate in lifelong education, educational satisfaction and life satisfaction. Three types of participation motivation(goal-orientation, activity-orientation and learning orientation) and four components of educational satisfaction(educational content, educational environment, instructor quality and educational result) were examined in this study. The sample of this study was composed of 307 elderly people attending in 6 community colleges for the aged located in Seoul metropolitan area. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed employing multiple regression analysis as a main data analysis method. This study found that participation motivation in lifelong education had a positive effect on educational satisfaction and that educational satisfaction had a positive effect on quality of life. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed and the directions for future research were suggested.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide implications for National Curriculum design for elementary and secondary school, by analyzing social indices of students' real life based on Oliva's three types of demand for education. Three types of demand are physical, social-psychological and educational demand. Methods: This study mainly analyzed recent research data and existing studies relevant to social indices to show students' real life. Results: Three types of social indices about educational demand showed that students have many difficulties in much learning time, lacking in sleeping time and physical activities, much stress and suicide attempt. It is supposed that learning and academic achievement is the main factor to make such kind of stress. Conclusion: Health & safety education, self-esteem inspiring education, reduction of learning burden, physical activities etc are needed to be more reflected in National Curriculum design in the future.

  • This study is to explore effective implementation strategies of elective-based curriculum in high schools, and to infer some implications for the improvement of school facilities. For the purpose, this study did three things. First, it tried to find the degree to which students are provided with the courses they want to take for the elective-based curriculum. Second, it explored effective implementation strategies of elective-based curriculum in high schools with the introduction of students' 'pre-application and lottery-allotted system' of high school admission. Third, it tried to infer the changed policy's implications for the improvement of school facilities. As a result of the study, three points are to be emphasized for the future plan and design of high school facilities. First, different school facilities are needed for each school because each school would implement different types of school curricula. Second, schools should be provided with different sized classrooms and different number of classrooms because three different types of students are assigned for each school as a result of new students' allocation policy. Third, new measures should be taken to provide students who are assigned to unwanted schools with opportunities to take courses outside their schools because students assigned by lottery system cannot have so much opportunity as students who are allocated to chosen schools.
