As a scientific educational facility, the role of science museum has been enlarged. However there are few study to evaluate the public value of science museum. This paper applies a conjoint analysis to measuring the public value of science museum. At first, this paper chose the attributes of science museum and derived the marginal willingness to pay, As a result, the choice works for selecting a preferred option among three alternatives were within respondents' ability and the derived marginal willingness-to-pay estimates were statistically different from zero. This paper contributes to complementing the existing valuation methods by estimating the attributes of science museum and providing policy-makers with useful methodological framework and quantitative information in the decision-making process related to the policy of cultural facilities.

The purpose of this study collected and analyzed their opinions to found solutions for reducing safety accidents since it is important to educate the students to recognize the importance of safety. We surveyed 350 students from mechanical and metal engineering departments of an engineering high school located in Seoul, and divided them in two categories and asked them about prevention of safety accidents in laboratories. Educational factors found that further directions and educations are needed for the students as to emergency measures in case of safety accidents. Safety education before laboratory classes in crucial, helpful and effective for prevention of safety accidents. Facility factors that further education is needed for students who don't experiments in orderly manner.

This study is to analyze the remodeling method of library in terms of space extension method and urban regeneration by repurposing function in unused facilities through case study. In many case of library extension, horizontal extensions are more frequent than vertical extensions, because there are limits to extend vertically due to high live load estimation by book stacks. Extension schemes was organized by new building extension method in connection with existing buildings, attaching method small scaled mass or linear mass to existing building, connecting method a plurality of existing small buildings, vertical extension method on the top of the structure, underground extension method using special structure. Unused facility remodeling to the library, large scaled buildings can be developed completely to the function of the library through the relocation of the space, while small scaled building needs spatial extension. In the case of spatial extension, existing space that was used for other purposes can be used as a reading room or office, avoiding high live load estimation.

According to the development of scientific technique, approvement of income level, diversification of recreation, etc., modem society human being demand for the facility for communication, education, and information in the community. So, School is watched by the community as a continuing education center where is expropriated diversify demands. On the other hand, the fact is that education program by community demands in the school facility has not been set. Since the amendment of the law on the private sector investment in social infrastructure in January of 2005, the government has been actively promoting Build-Transfer-Lease (BTL) projects. Notably, most new educational facilities have been built as BTL projects. For these facilities, the unit cost per unit area has been applied to predict construction costs. However, since construction costs are mostly managed after the detailed design phase, the costs can be estimated incorrectly. For this reason, cost management is needed in the planning phase, with a sound approximate estimate to prevent the wasteful use of funds. To address this shortcoming, this study aims to develop a quantity prediction model for education facilities using regression analysis in the planning phase. The developed model is focused on the required quantities of reinforced concrete and bricks. In order to achieve the objective, the data of 44 educational facility projects collected from Gyeonggi-do was used in the regression model. This study can be utilized by major stakeholders to accurately predict construction costs by estimating the appropriate quantities of reinforced concrete and bricks in the planning design phase.

BTL projects for educational facilities were conceived in 2005 to supply public facilities in a timely and efficient manner After the projects were completed in March 2007, proper facility maintenance has become an increasingly important issue. However, BTL projects are still in an early developmental stage, and the data on the maintenance and operation of such facilities are not yet available because the operation of the facilities has just begun. Accordingly, this study is conducted to derive maintenance processes and to specify maintenance items for the efficient maintenance of BTL educational facilities. Then, database on the maintenance processes will be created, and a maintenance system module will be designed.

Proceeded with a research with basic data about the qualification standard improvement scheme about the environment school architecture in which a comparison analyze the specialized field of BREEAM system of LEED of the hit environment building qualification standard G-SEED of the domestic and U.S Green Building Counci evaluated with the certification system of the world top class and Building Research Establish, essential item, and mark distribution and weight in this study at this and which I hit with a domestic afterward. The school facility with a hub among the equipment receiving the hit environmental qualification standard, and the range of this research does LEED of the domestic green building certification system February is revised in 2013 G-SEED and which US and BREEAM in UK with a range. The way of the research checked the environment school building certification system and situation hit home and abroad, and a comparison analyze the division of the specialized field of each country qualification standard, essential item, and mark distribution and weight.

Objectives: This study aims to examine the effect of psychological capital on turnover intension and job satisfaction by aged care facility workers. Methods : Samples were obtained from 147 aged care facility workers in one county of Kyungsangbukdo. The study conducted a correlation and a regression analysis to learn how psychological capital (self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resilience) would affect turnover intension and job satisfaction. Results : First, age and marital status turned out to have a positive (+) influence on job satisfaction which would be negative (-) affected by tenure of office. Second, hope, sub-variable of Psychological Capital, affected a negative (-) influence on turnover intension. Third, resilience, sub-variable of Psychological Capital, affected a positive(+) influence on job satisfaction. Conclusions: It is suggested to develop the psychological capital of aged care facility workers, effective welfare system and educational program are required for better job satisfaction.

For prevention of the school violence, many researchers have been conducted the studies based on crime prevention through environment design(CPTED) in the architecture planning phase. However, besides of architecture planning, the study considering the aspect of the facility management is needed during life cycle of educational facilities. In this study, the objective is to propose the effective school facility management for violence prevention based on CPTED method during life cycle of the facilities.

This study was conducted to review the adequacy and applicability of the safety certification system for educational facilities which was implemented in 2021 and to derive possible improvements to the existing certification system. This study analyzed the existing certification system, examined similar systems from abroad, conducted interviews with certification experts, and presented the proposed improved system to experts for review and advice. The proposed model replaced the current certification process with three stages of follow-up management. This allows for problems that may occur in the evaluation process and the composition of evaluators to be prevented by applying a feedback system. In the review stage of the newly proposed certification system, certification experts recommended specifying the detailed standards of certification performance such as criteria for selecting examiners and arbitrators. They concluded that there were no fatal flaws in the overall structure of the evaluation system. According to the results of this review, the proposed evaluation system was proven to be an effective improvement to the existing system.
