본 연구는 지속적으로 증가가 예상되는 폐교시설의 효율적인 활용을 위하여 활용지표의 개발을 통해 폐교 활용 시 객관적인 의사결정을 위한 목적을 가진다. 연구 단계는 크게 폐교 활용 예비지표 도출, 빅데이터를 활용한 최종지표 도출, 지표의 정량화 단계로 구분하여 진행하였으며, 최종적으로 지표를 정량화함으로써 객관화하였다. 향후 지표를 기준으로 시설에 적용 및 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구는 지금까지 폐교시설의 활용을 위한 계획 및 연구에 있어서 시도되지 않았던 빅데이터 분석기법을 적용한 것에 그 의의가 있다.

본고에서는 교육 빅데이터의 개념, 가치, 처리 기술 및 분석 방법 등을 탐색하였다. '온라인과 오프라인 교수 학습 활동의 투입, 과정, 산출을 통해 생산되는 국가, 지역, 학교, 교사, 학생 수준의 자료'로 정의할 수 있는 교육 빅데이터는 Hadoop으로 대표되는 분산 컴퓨팅 기술을 통해 효율적으로 처리할 수 있다. 대규모 교육 자료에서 의미있고 유용한 결과를 도출하기 위해 주로 사용되는 분석 방법에는 교육 데이터 마이닝, 학습 분석학과 시각 자료 분석학이 있다. 교육 데이터 마이닝은 학생과 교사, 학교의 다양한 수준에서 자료를 폭넓게 분석하는 측면이 강한 반면에 학습 분석학은 학생 수준에서의 자료 분석에 더 초점을 맞추는 경향이 있으며, 시각 자료 분석학은 자료에 대한 분석 자체보다는 분석 결과를 효과적으로 표현하는 방식에 초점이 주어져 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 통계 분석과 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용하여 대학정보공시 자료 속의 새로운 패턴이나 의미 있는 결과를 도출함으로써 대학의 교육역량 및 경쟁력을 나타내는 지표 개선에 유용한 지식을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교육/연구성과를 나타내는 취업률, 기술이전건수, 전임교원 1인당 논문수 지표의 영향요인 탐색 및 의사결정나무 모형 도출과 대학평가 관련지표를 이용한 대학의 군집분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대학 교육/연구성과 지표의 공통 영향요인은 신입생충원율, 재학생충원율, 전임교원 1인당 학생수로 나타났다. 군집분석에서는 전체 대학, 대학규모별, 소재지별로 각각 실시하였을 때 유명대학, 예체능 비이공계 종교지도자양성 대학, 그 외 대학으로 군집이 형성되는 양상을 보였고, 그 주요 영향요인으로는 대학 교육/연구성과 지표인 취업률, 기술이전건수 등으로 나타났다.

Education is one of the pillars of sustainable development. For this reason, the discovery of useful information in its process of adaptation to new challenges is treated with care. This paper aims to present the initiation of a process of exploring the data collected from the results obtained by Romanian students at the BBaccalaureate (the Romanian high school graduation) exam, through data mining methods, in order to try an in-depth analysis to find and remedy some of the causes that lead to unsatisfactory results. Specifically, a set of public data was collected from the website of the Ministry of Education, on which several classification methods were tested in order to find the most efficient modeling algorithm. It is the first time that this type of data is subjected to such interests.

The main goal of higher education institutions is to present a high level of quality education to its students. This study uses data mining techniques to extract educational data from cumulative databases and used them to make the right decisions. This paper also aims to find the factors affecting students' academic performance in Majmaah University, KSA, during 2010 - 2017 period. The study utilized a sample of 6,158 students enrolled from two colleges, males and females. The results showed a high percentage of stumbling and dismissed between graduate and regular students where more than 62.5% failed to follow the plan. Only 2% of students scored distinction during their study of all graduated since their grade point average, secondary level, was statistically significant, where p<0.05. Dismissed percentage was higher among males. These results promoted some recommendations in which decision-makers could take them in considerations for better improvement of academic achievements: including of specialized programs to follow-up in regards to stumbling and failure. Utilization of different communication tools are needed to activate academic advisory for dismiss and dropout evaluation.

지난 십여 년간 학생의 학습 과정에서 생성되는 방대한 데이터를 다양한 분석기술을 적용하여 학생의 학습 성과 및 교육 환경을 개선하기 위한 관련 연구들이 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 교육데이터의 분석 결과를 성공적으로 활용하고 있는 대학의 사례들을 살펴본 후, 기존 사례 연구를 통해서 보다 구체적으로 분석 목적별로 어떤 데이터와 분석 기법이 사용되는지 정리하였다. 그리고 고찰 결과를 토대로 기존 분석의 한계점 및 향후 분석 방향에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

급격한 IT 환경의 변화에 따라 스마트 시대의 다양한 디지털 데이터가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 영역에서 빅데이터를 활용한 서비스와 관련 기술들이 연구 및 개발되고 있다. 스마트교육에 있어서 빅데이터의 활용도는 학생, 교사, 학부모 등의 입장에서 많은 잠재력을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 빅데이터에 대해 알아보고, 교육적 활용 시나리오에 대해서 살펴본다. 또한 빅데이터를 통한 맞춤형 교육 서비스를 도출하고, 이를 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 교육용 빅데이터 처리 기술을 분석하고, 빅데이터 처리를 위한 시스템을 설계하고, 교육용 빅데이터를 활용하기 위해서 필요한 교육 서비스 방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 방안이 제대로 적용될 수 있는지 시범적으로 업무과 교육을 위한 클라우드 기반에서 동작하는 테스트 플랫폼을 구현하였다. 이를 교사들이 직접 사용해 보고 나서, 업무와 교육에서의 흥미도, 즐거움, 도구 사용 느낌, 긴장감이나 걱정, 자신감 등을 토대로 설문을 실시하고, 그 결과를 분석하여 교육용 빅데이터를 사용하기 위한 기반을 마련하고자 한다.

With the recent advancement of technology, there has been an increase in professional development activities, including teachers using blogs to share practical knowledge and reflect on teaching and learning. This study was conducted to identify the contents of practical knowledge shared through the K-12 teachers' blogs. To achieve the research objective, 70,571 blog posts were collected from 329 blogs of K-12 teachers in Korean and analyzed using text mining techniques. The results of the study are as follows. First, practical knowledge sharing activities using teacher blogs have increased. Teachers posted a lot of blogs during the semester. Second, primary school teachers share various curriculum activities, reflections on project classes, class management, opinions related to education, and personal. Third, secondary school teachers share summaries and reviews of curriculum, materials related to college entrance exams, various instructional materials, opinions related to education, and personal experiences on their blogs. This study suggested that blogs are widely used as a venue for sharing practical knowledge of teachers, and that blogs can be a useful way to develop professionalism.

Data mining technique was used to track student's performance during years studding in college and determine the impact of GPA_SEC on the GPA student rates according to the current academic advising method used on student's status. The study utilized a sample of 5436 individuals were drawn from two colleges in Majmaah University, KSA during 2013-2018 period. The results showed that the student's completion status in terms of graduation, dropout, Stumbling or dismissed was classified according to the average grades of admission from secondary school GPA_SEC. The results show the effect of the current academic advising that most of students gain less grades comparing with GPA_SEC in addition that the higher GPA_SEC was the higher graduation, dropout and dismissed decreased when GPA_SEC was high.. Therefore, the study recommends tracking students academically to evaluate their results of each semester to find out the causes of the deficiencies and addressing them within the departments.

본 연구의 목적은 텍스트 마이닝을 활용하여 한국의 주요 언론 매체를 통해 드러난 학교 공간 혁신 정책의 실행과 관련 이슈를 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 언론에서 발행한 학교 공간 혁신 관련 기사 총 519개를 수집하여 빈도 분석과 네트워크 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과를 기반으로 학교 공간 혁신의 특징을 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 학교 공간 혁신은 미래교육에 대한 대응으로 추진되고 있다. 둘째, 사용자가 학교 공간 혁신의 주체로 참여한다. 셋째, 전문가는 협력 체제를 갖추어 학교 공간 혁신을 지원하고 있다. 넷째, 학교 공간 혁신에 지역사회를 적극적으로 참여시키고 있다. 다섯째, 교육부와 교육청의 주요 사업으로, 상향식과 하향식이 조화를 이루어 진행되고 있다. 본 연구 결과는 학교 공간 혁신 정책의 주요 이슈를 이해하고, 차후 연구와 실천에 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
