Using various types of educational media plays an important role in educating students with disabilities. In recent years, augmented reality has emerged as an important technology that can increase the effectiveness of special education programs. This study developed augmented reality contents focusing on the theme 'Weather and Life' in the 'Na' unit of the Basic Special School Curriculum, and explored the possibility of applying the contents to the science education. The contents design instructions and educational programs for this study were developed based on a focus-group interview conducted with five special school teachers and two developers. To explore the possibility of applying the augmented reality contents, a usability evaluation was conducted with 23 special school teachers and 18 students with intellectual disability. The results showed that the augmented reality contents had a high level of usability as the special school teachers received 4.73 and the students with intellectual disability received 4.75 out of 5. As a result of this study, we can draw a conclusion that there is a high possibility of applying augmented reality contents to science education for students with intellectual disability.

In this paper, we propose a novel model and effective authoring strategy of educational contents which improve the drilling effects in the cyber education through Internet. Especially we offer an authoring process of digital contents of engineering departs using JAVA component library technology and concept-based branch method, making the element of the library as unit-contents separated in accordance with their characteristics arid then accessing them at arbitrary instant in the replaying time. In proportion to the proposed model and strategy, the resultant contents shows advanced adaptabilities and interactions so that the contents can be user-oriented considerations. Combining and realizing the proposed authoring strategy for constitution of digital contents, we can get a more efficient scenario of making and drilling especially in the area of engineering or language courses.

In this paper, we propose the Table-top system for using educational contents. Table-top system that is matched visual information and interaction space offers easy and intuitive interface. Moreover, because the effectiveness of education is enlarged if the content for education intuitive recognizes and an interaction, the table top system is suitable. In this paper, the multi touch,that is the advantage of the table top system, was implemented in the content for education manufactured as a flash. This system can solve the member of the instinctive interaction between a user and the contents which was short in the system like the existing desktop.

This study was designed to compare the educational needs and satisfactory about infant care of the mothers in the Post-partum Care Center for development of the educational program. The subjects for this study were 100 mothers in the Post-partum Care Center in Seoul and Buchon. The data were collected during the period from Feb. to March, 2000. The Educational Need and satisfactory for Infant Care was measured by questionnaire that has developed by researchers. The data were analysed by descriptive statistics, paired t-test using SPSS PC+ WIN. The results were as fellow; 1) The educational needs of the mothers in the Post-partum Care Center were high (mean=4.32). 2) The satisfactory of the mothers in the Post-partum Care Center of educational program of infant care were middle range (mean=3.60). 3) The educational needs of infant cares in the Post-partum Care Center were higher than satisfactory of the mothers in the Post-partum Care Center of educational program of infant care(t=7.71 p=.000). 4) The educational need by content was signs, symptoms and management of disorders(i.g. cyanosis, seizure, fever, etc.) were higher than general care of baby(i.g. feeding, diaper change etc.). In conclusion, when the infant caregiver in the Post-partum Care Center teaching the method of infant care to mother, there should be in consideration of educational need of mother. And its educational contents must be included of mental and emotional development and signs, symptoms and management of disorders.

An educational program through therapeutic recreation was developed in order to analyze the effect of enhancement of ego integrity of the elderly. First of all, this study was designed to summarize the concepts of ego integrity and the effects of therapeutic recreation on the elderly and to identify elderly's educational needs of both educational methods and contents from the literature review. The above identified knowledge and information were applied to developing the educational program. The program was composed of 6 sessions with 17 old men and women focused on developing self acceptance using reminiscence on ego integrity through their whole life span and developing positive and active attitudes towards life. And enforcing and evaluation methods were also suggested. The results were as follows. This program showed the significant differences between post-test and pre-test scores in the scale of ego integrity of the elderly. In conclusion, educational program through therapeutic recreation employed for this study has significant effects of increasing ego integrity of the elderly.

The Education has responsibility for predicting the social changes and cultivating global talent which the society needs. The ministry of education, science and technology in govern ment has been the concerns on social educational changes and thus built the '5 31 educational reform policy' in 1995 by the educational reform committee. As a solution of a social change, this paper reviews the three-phase educational information policies, and e-learning and u-learning which are the main technologies in educational information. Also, the technologies of e-learning can be divided into m-learning, t-learning, u-learning, r-learning, game-based learning according to the contents mass media. Among them, this paper introduces the concept of robot-learning, called r-learning, and compares it with u-learning.

The aims of this article were to examine the basic law, contents and concept of educational program for healthy family and provide the jobs and competency of healthy family supporter for educational work. The research objects were 53 healthy family supporters for educational work inclusive of full-time and part-time position. They was analyzed through the survey. The process of research consisted of two parts. One was to suggest their jobs and requirements, the other were to offer their core competency and area for improvement. First, the jobs of healthy family supporters for educational work were the planning and valuation of program. The requirements for the performance of their duties are having a bachelor's degree or a master's degree, career for 1-3years, and a certificate of qualification of healthy family supporters, social worker and family counselor. Second, their competencies were the understanding of education for family life, management for healthy family support center, planning and valuation of educational program, a theory of counsel, community networking, ability of documentation, sociality, communication skill, the ability of solving the problem, the adaptation of various environments, receptiveness, positiveness and so on.

The smart education is performed in the education field, but the contents related to the subject class performed in the various smart devices are insufficient and it is necessary to continue training teacher and learner for the app development education. Therefore this study developed and applied the contents production education program of the game type web app around elementary science 6 grade 1 term utilizing Storyline authoring tools, similar to PowerPoint and be executable in the various devices. After educating students, we investigate the convenience of the use of Storyline, satisfaction level of learning contents work activity, and the continued availability, and etc,. They are interested in the activity of the smart educational contents development and they wished to participate in the continued app development education and activity in spite of it make difficulty for using English menu.

Smart Learning has been introduced in the educational field recently and it has been used in various ways to improve the quality of education. This research is focused on smart learning contents development for settlement in the educational field. It has carried forward studying in smart learning contents development using storyline, which is a kind of application authoring tool. We analyzed previous studies related to smart learning and presented the characteristics of storyline and the process of content development. Furthermore, we developed the content of digit sorting in Information Life for 6th grade elementary students and applied it to the field to evaluate the educational effectiveness. Through experimental results, the mean difference between traditional activities instruction and instruction using smart learning content was not significant. Nevertheless it has been found the immediate feedback and repeating of activities using smart learning has had positive impacts for understanding, satisfaction and learning interest.

The study aims to gain information for developing educational contents to support LPSMB(low-performing students with multicultural backgrounds) through the survey on their personal characteristics, attitudes related to learning, and learning environment. We analyzed a survey of 2,091 students from 200 schools who were low-performing Korean students, LPSMBs, and normally performing students with multicultural backgrounds. Normally performing students with multicultural backgrounds showed statistically significant higher scores on most questionnaires than low-performing Korean students and LPSMBs. However, normally performing students with multicultural backgrounds and LPSMs showed statistically significant lower scores on identity and social relationships. LPSMBs showed lower scores on parents' culture than normally performing students with multicultural backgrounds. We suggested how to support LPSMBs' learning and learning environment based on the survey results.
