  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan to improve the level of acceptance of related technologies and the transition to smart factories of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises by using 'technology readiness' and 'integrated technology acceptance model'. To this end, the research hypothesis was verified by collecting questionnaire data from 130 small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Korea and conducting path analysis.   • The purpose of this study is to restore religious education at home. Currently, Korean church education is facing a crisis. First, there is a decrease in the number of children in the church due to the problem of the low fertility rate. Second, the number of young people leaving the church is increasing. As a result, Maneun Church and church schools are being reduced or closed. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to change from church school-centered education to family-centered faith education. This is because the restoration of faith education is also connected with the restoration of the Korean church in crisis. As an alternative to overcome the current crisis of church education, it is necessary to return to the original form of religious education. In other words, we must return to the way God commanded religious education through parents at home. The most important thing is to overcome and recover from the absence of religious education at home. A Christian home becomes a place of education that fulfills the primary responsibility of religious education for children. God has given his parents the primary authority and responsibility for the religious education of their children. However, amid changes in society and home, the educational function of the home was entrusted to other educational institutions or specialized teachers. Parents of Christian families tend to delegate their children's religious education to church schools by neglecting their educational authority and responsibility. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to reinforce that parents should have a Christian view of faith education and become the main agents of their children's faith education. Parents have the authority, responsibility, and duty as teachers for religious education given by God. The educational authority and responsibility of parents originate from God. God has commanded his parents to bring up their children in faith. Therefore, for parents to become the main agents of their children's religious education, restoration is needed in Christian home education. Therefore, the task of restoring the Christian family as a place of effective Christian education and fulfilling the educational mission of faith that God has given to parents is, first, that parents and the church must recognize the importance of Christian home education anew. Second, parents must have the correct awareness and mission in the Christian view of children. The mission of parents in a Christian home is to teach, train, and admonish their children in the Lord so that they can live with Christian values. Third, the church should actively support home education and form a deep bond between church education and home education.

  • The aim of this study is to examine the changes of approach methods of research framework in the history of Korean economic geography during the last fifty years($1956{\sim}2005$). The five factors that have influenced Korean economic geography are Korean geography, European, American, and Japanese geography, fundamental theories of economics and business administration, regional problems, and culture. The study of Korean economic geography can be divided into four periods: 'period of cradle of economic geography($1956{\sim}1962$)', 'period of establishment of economic geography(1963$\sim$later 1970s)', 'period of leap of economic geography(the former half of 1980s$\sim$the former half of 1990s)', and 'period of transition of economic geography (since later 1990s)'. And research framework of Korean economic geography has changed from the regional structure theory in 'period of leap' to the spatial system of economies and network theory in 'period of transition'. Spatial system of economies and network theory consists of spatial system of world economies, spatial system of national economies, spatial system of regional economies, spatial network of enterprise economies, and spatial network of information economies.

Understanding the Breast Cancer Experience: a Qualitative Study of Malaysian Women

  • Breast cancer is the most common and leading cause of cancer mortality among Malaysian women. Despite good survival rates, the diagnosis of cancer still invokes the feeling of stress, fear and uncertainty. Because very little is known about the experiences of Malaysian women with breast cancer, a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews to explore the lived experience of newly diagnosed breast cancer. Using a purposive sampling method, 20 Malaysian women newly diagnosed with breast cancer, including Malays (n=10) and Chinese (n=10) were recruited in two main public hospitals in Kelantan. Similarities and divergence in women's experience were identified through thematic analysis of interview transcripts. Three themes emerged from the data: uncertainty experience of the illness, transition process and fatalistic view of breast cancer. In many ways, these findings were parallel with previous studies, suggesting that the experience of breast cancer is to a certain extent similar among women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. This study adds to the sparse literature concerning the experience of illness following breast cancer diagnosis among the Malays and Chinese. More importantly, this study addressed areas that were previously lacking, specifically in depth information on breast cancer experience from a developing country with a multi-ethnic population. The results of this investigation provide preliminary information to healthcare professionals on the impact of illness and cultural influence on survivorship to plan for appropriate education and supportive programme in order to meet the needs of breast cancer women more effectively.

An Analysis of the Actual Status about the Connection of Teaching and Learning Mathematics between Elementary School and Junior High School (초.중학교 수학 교수학습 연계 실태 분석)

  • There is a difference in quality between transition from elementary school to junior high school and the simple change of grades. This time is also a critical time that many students would be to abandon the mathematics. According to experience in conjunction with mathematics, this timing can be either bright or dark outlook with relation to mathematical development. Thus, at this turning point, it is necessary to analyze what changes the students are experiencing in teaching and learning mathematics, what such changes effect the students, whether or not there is room for improving such changes etc. Therefore, in this study, by comparing and analyzing math lessons of 6th grade in elementary school and 1st grade in junior high school, we investigate the difficulties of teaching and learning mathematics experienced by students who have been placed in the turning point and suggest implications to help them to land softly into junior high school.

Effect of BSO addition on Cu-O bond of GdBa2Cu3O7-x films with varying thickness probed by extended x-ray absorption fine structure

  • We investigated the relation between the Cu-O bond length and the superconducting properties of $BaSnO_3$ (BSO)-added $GdBa_2Cu_3O_{7-x}$ (GdBCO) thin films by using extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy. 4 wt.% $BaSnO_3$ (BSO) added $GdBa_2Cu_3O_{7-x}$ (GdBCO) thin films with varying thickness from $0.2{\mu}m$ to $1.0{\mu}m$ were fabricated by using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method. The transition temperature ($T_c$) and the residual resistance ratio (RRR) of the GdBCO films increased with increasing thickness up to $0.8{\mu}m$, where the crystalline BSO has the highest peak intensity, and then decreased. This uncommon behaviors of $T_c$ and RRR are likely to be created by the addition of BSO, which may change the ordering of GdBCO atomic bonds. Analysis from the Cu K-edge EXAFS spectroscopy showed an interesting thickness dependence of ordering behavior of BSO-added GdBCO films. It is noticeable that the ordering of Cu-O bond and the transition temperature are found to show opposite behaviors in the thickness dependence. Based on these results, the growth of BSO seemingly have evident effect on the alteration of the local structure of GdBCO film.

  • The aim of this study was to analysis the transformation of family ethics as appeared in Korean history. The contents of this study consist of two parts: literature reviews on the specific features of family ethics with lived history from the period of the Three States to 1950 decades and a survey research on family ethics and its transition after 1950 decades. For the latter, Questionnaires were distributed to the different each generations, from which 1194 data were obtained. The results can be summarized as follows: The transition of thought such as Buddhism, Confucianism and the change of economics condition are found to have impact on the family ethics in Korea. In contemporary history, The Korean War(6 ${\cdot}$ 25) had great influent on the change of the family ethics. Recently the conflict among the family members and family problems are influenced by the valiables such as generation and sex, especially with the changes of consciousness of feministic perspective. More over, while only miner change had appeared in Family Ethics during the society still remained in Eastern Value orientations before Cho-seon dynasty, the transformation Family Ethics seems to be the greatest with the cultural shock by the introduction of the Western Values depending on the religions and locality. Nevertheless, family-Centered orientations and confucianism(Hyo) have continued to remains as relatively important values.

The α-Effect in Hydrazinolysis of 4-Chloro-2-Nitrophenyl X-Substituted-Benzoates: Effect of Substituent X on Reaction Mechanism and the α-Effect

  • Second-order rate constants ($k_N$) have been measured spectrophotometrically for the reaction of 4-chloro-2-nitrophenyl X-substituted-benzoates (6a-6h) with a series of primary amines including hydrazine in 80 mol % $H_2O$/20 mol % DMSO at $25.0^{\circ}C$. The Br${\o}$nsted-type plot for the reaction of 4-chloro-2-nitrophenyl benzoate (6d) is linear with ${\beta}_{nuc}$ = 0.74 when hydrazine is excluded from the correlation. Such a linear Br${\o}$nsted-type plot is typical for reactions reported previously to proceed through a stepwise mechanism in which expulsion of the leaving group occurs in the rate-determining step (RDS). The Hammett plots for the reactions of 6a-6h with hydrazine and glycylglycine are nonlinear. In contrast, the Yukawa-Tsuno plots exhibit excellent linear correlations with ${\rho}_X$ = 1.29-1.45 and r = 0.53-0.56, indicating that the nonlinear Hammett plots are not due to a change in RDS but are caused by resonance stabilization of the substrates possessing an electron-donating group (EDG). Hydrazine is ca. 47-93 times more reactive than similarly basic glycylglycine toward 6a-6h (e.g., the ${\alpha}$-effect). The ${\alpha}$-effect increases as the substituent X in the benzoyl moiety becomes a stronger electron-withdrawing group (EWG), indicating that destabilization of the ground state (GS) of hydrazine through the repulsion between the nonbonding electron pairs on the two N atoms is not solely responsible for the substituent-dependent ${\alpha}$-effect. Stabilization of transition state (TS) through five-membered cyclic TSs, which would increase the electrophilicity of the reaction center or the nucleofugality of the leaving group, contributes to the ${\alpha}$-effect observed in this study.

An Analysis on Third Graders' Multiplicative Thinking and Proportional Reasoning Ability (초등학교 3학년 학생들의 곱셈적 사고에 따른 비례 추론 능력 분석)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to survey multiplicative thinking levels and its characteristics of third graders in elementary school and to analyze how to use it when they solve the proportional problems. As results, the transition thinking ranked the highest among the four kinds of thinking levels when the $3^{rd}$ graders solved the multiplication problems. It means that the largest numbers of students still can not distinguish the additive and multiplicative situations completely and remain in the transition thinking, which thinks both additively and multiplicatively. In addition, the performance of solving proportional problems was distinguished from the levels of thinking. Through this study, we can give some implications of the importance of multiplicative thinking and instructional methods related to multiplication.

A Study of Family Values on Newspaper Articles in May as 'Family Month' ('가정의 달' 신문 기사에 나타난 가족가치관 연구)

  • This study aims to find out tendencies of transition of family values in newspapers which were published in May. The study was conducted on content analysis of Chosun and Donga daily newspapers in odd dates of May from 1970 to 2014. Based on preceding research, family values were classified into sub areas such as 'Value of Family,' 'Value of Marriage,' 'Value of Children,' 'Value of Filial Piety' and 'Value of Sex Role.' The collected articles were classified into five sub areas. This study collected 288 articles considering overlap count. According to the study, the newspapers seem to be interested in 'Value of Family' and 'Value of Children', but not 'Value of Marriage'. And academic, social, political efforts to improve family life or raise a necessity to change family values can evoke mass media's interest about family values. Meanwhile, some newspaper articles appear to support an opinion that 'The Healthy Families Act' postulates a claim like 'the traditional family is a normal family'. It seems that newspapers misunderstood about 'The Healthy Families Act.' So we should judge what is more right between two opinions because mass media can reconstruct reality. The tendency of transition of family values is actually slight or the tendency of family values in newspapers cannot show actual family values. Moreover, we have to reconsider that highlighting just 'paternity' can make men overlook other roles in the household like caring for children or cleaning.
