인성교육을 위한 학급경영시스템 설계 및 구현 (The Design and Implementation of Class Management System for Humanity Education)

  • 인성교육은 세계 어느 나라를 막론하고 형식적 교육이 이루어진 이후로 교육의 가장 궁극적이고 핵심적인 문제가 되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 다인수 학급에서 결여되기 쉬운 아동, 교사간의 인간관계의 친밀성, 신뢰성, 개방성을 촉진하고, 아동 상호간의 집단 활동을 통해 긍정적 인간 관계를 경험하기 위한 "인성교육을 위한 학급경영시스템"을 구축하였다. 학급경영시스템은 단순한 자료제시에서 벗어나 인성요소를 통합적으로 지도하는 통합시스템의 성격을 지니고 정보화의 급속한 발전 속에 학생들의 컴퓨터 활용능력뿐만 아니라 정보사회에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 시스템 모델이다.

  • 근래 인터넷의 활성화로 인하여 교육기관 또는 교육자들이 나름대로 웹기반 교육 시스템을 각자 개발하여 운영 및 관리되고 있으나 웹 교육 시스템 개발시 응용하고 있는 컴포넌트 개발은 미비한 형편이다. 컴포넌트를 사용하여 웹 교육 시스템을 개발하면 재사용성, 호환성, 확장성, 개발기간 단축, 개발비용 절약 등 여러가지 기대효과를 얻을 수 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 교육 시스템의 기능에 따라서 웹 교육 관련 컴포넌트를 분류하고, 컴포넌트 개발과정을 모델링하고, 클라이언트/서버환경을 지원하는 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 컴포넌트를 재사용할 수 있는 컴포넌트 플랫폼을 선정하여 보았다. 이러한 웹 교육 컴포넌트의 도입은 웹 기반 교육 시스템 개발에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

학문분야별 평가인증제 운영에 관한 질적 사례 연구: 한의학을 중심으로 (A Qualitative Study on Steering of Education Accreditation: With Case Study on Korean Medicine Education)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this article is to develop steering of program accreditation system in Korean Medicine Education through meta-evaluation. For this study, the subjects of our research were categorized as the accreditation criteria and system, results and effects, tasks for improvement on Korean Medicine Education. Methods: We conducted Focus Group Interview on 102 full-time professors with experience of participating on accreditation of Korean Medicine Education from 12 college of Korean Medicine Education and we analyzed it by thematic analysis. Results: The accreditation criteria and program evaluation system of Korean Medicine were listed as 'Confusion about the goals of program evaluation', 'High hurdles on accreditation', 'obsession to success cases', 'Small college complaints about applying the same criteria', 'Dilemma of quantitative and qualitative evaluation'. The results and effects of program evaluation in Korean Medicine Education were listed as 'Establishment of base infrastructure for basic medical education', 'Benchmarking and exchanging opinions through evaluation certification', 'Resistance to documents and document-based evaluation', and 'Double-sided of evaluation certification'. As for the tasks for further improvement, the following list is suggested. 'Actively promote evaluation certification', 'Simplification and standardization of forms', 'Requesting for activating about Evaluation committee', 'Need for consulting before regular evaluation'. Conclusion: It is necessary to upgrade the accreditation system and make efforts to improve the issues discovered for better Korean Medicine Education.

e-Learning 표준에 기반한 주문형 교육 시스템 (Education On Demand System Based on e-Learning Standards)

  • 본 논문은 VOD(Video On Demand) 기반 온라인 교육 시스템의 한계점들을 분석하고 이에 대한 대안으로 e- Learning 표준에 기초한 EOD(Education On Demand) 시스템의 디자인과 구현에 대해 기술한다. EOD 시스템은 XML로 표현되는 메타 정보와 컴포넌트 기술을 사용하여 학습 컨텐츠 라이프사이클 전반에 적용되는 저작 도구, 컨텐츠 서버, 학습 정책 시스템 그리고 뷰어로 구성된다. 구성요소간의 모든 정보 교환은 SCORM 표준에 기반한 메타 정보로 표현되어 효과적인 컨텐츠 관리와 자동화를 가능하게 한다. 또한 학습자의 상호작용 및 피드백 정보를 통합 관리하여 학습 정책 시스템을 통해 개별 학습자에게 맞추어진 학습 지도를 제공 할 수 있다. 이러한 EOD 시스템을 통해 단순한 컨텐츠 제공을 넘어선 발전된 형태의 온라인 교육 시스템에 대해 고찰해 본다.

보육교사 양성학과 평가·인증 방안 및 실무추진체계 연구 (A Study on the Accreditation Method and Implementation System of the Childcare Teacher Education Department)

  • Objective: In this study, a department accreditation system was introduced as a specific way to improve the professionalism of childcare teachers, and evaluation indicators for department accreditation and the implementation system were derived to find a practical direction. Methods: According to the purpose of this study, related laws and websites were reviewed. In addition, in order to investigate opinions on the composition and implementation system of qualification indicators, a meeting was conducted with professors of the department of childcare teacher education and other qualification experts. Results: In order to introduce a department accreditation system for childcare teacher education, it is necessary to specify the relevant laws, and that the operation of an organization affiliated with a public institution is appropriate for the practical implementation of the system. In addition, an evaluation index plan composed of three indicators of educational conditions, curriculum, and performance areas was derived. Conclusion/Implications: In this study, a practical preparation plan, such as evaluation indicators and an implementation system, was presented for the introduction of a department accreditation childcare teacher education system. It is expected that this study will contribute to the successful establishment of the accreditation system of childcare teacher education.

한국의 의예과 교육: 무엇이 문제이고 무엇이 해법인가? (How Can We Improve Premedical Education in Korea?)

  • When a new educational system for college students in South Korea was established in 1946, the National Committee for Educational Planning adopted a 6-year curriculum of medical education, consisting of a 2-year premedical component and a 4-year medical component. For more than half a century, the premedical curriculum has received little attention. However, it is very important for premedical students to have a range of experiences that could be useful in their future medical careers. In 2005, another change was made to the system of medical education, in which medical schools without a 2-year premedical curriculum were established. This began to stimulate interest in premedical education, and more and more professors have become interested in premedical education as 6-year medical colleges have become more popular than before. Since 2015, the Education and Cultural Center of the Korean Association of Medical Colleges has annually hosted a workshop for redesigning premedical education; these workshops quickly fill up with registrants, reflecting the participants' lively interest in premedical education. The problems of premedical education are mostly due to students' and educators' attitudes. A more effective approach will be needed in the educational system of the future to train highly competent medical doctors. To judge whether an educational program is successful, its aims must be clearly articulated. For this reason, medical colleges must prepare premedical education curricula based on their educational aims. It is expected that the system of premedical education will be strengthened in the future due to the growing awareness of its importance.

클라우드와 N-스크린 기반의 스마트 교육 시스템 연구 (A Study on the SMART Education System Based on Cloud and N-screen)

  • 스마트 교육은 정보형 인재에서 창의형 인재로 변화되는 현대사회에서 스마트화, 자동화 교육을 통해 창의적인 스마트 인재를 양성하는 교육 혁명이라 할 수 있다. 즉, 지식정보화와 스마트 기기의 출현 등으로 점차 개인별 능동적 맞춤형 교육 방식으로 교육 패러다임이 변화하고 있으며 이를 반영하는 교육 방식이라 할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 스마트 교육 환경을 구현하기 위한 기반 기술 체계를 설계한 것으로 클라우드 컴퓨팅과 N 스크린 기반의 차세대 스마트 교육 시스템을 연구하였다. 이를 위해 스마트 미디어 환경에서 교육적 기능과 특징 분석을 기반으로 스마트 교육 시스템의 활용 방안을 극대화시킨 시스템 설계를 연구하였다.

가상현실 기반 체험형 전기안전 교육 시스템의 개발 및 효과 분석 (Development and Effect Analysis of Experiential Electrical Safety Education System Based on Virtual Reality)

  • Every year, lives are lost due to electrical safety accidents that could have been prevented with proper education and awareness of electrical safety. To prevent such accidents, experiential education is more effective than indoctrination education. This paper describes the electrical safety education system based on virtual reality (VR) and evaluates effect of the proposed system. Users operated the experiential electrical safety education system, and they were provided electrical stimulation in an electric shock experience using a haptic device. Appropriate stimulation values were calculated according to age (children vs. adults) and gender through experiment. The scenario in which participants experience electrical safety in the home environment was structured, and related educational contents was produced. A total of 68 healthy elementary students evaluated the educational effect of the system. The results showed that the educational effect and the sustainability of effect of the proposed system are superior to those of existing multimedia learning methods. By implementing electrical safety education stimulating the senses of human, the learning effect was promoted and this experiential education would be able to prevent electrical accidents.

한국의 가치문화 교육을 위한 광고 자료 선정 (The Study of Selecting Advertisement Materials for Korean Value System Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare educational contents and criteria for selecting advertisement materials by exploring the necessity of value system education in Korean culture education. Furthermore, the study aims to suggest advertisements that contain meaningful materials through the criteria among the public and commercial advertisements as of 2017. Advertisements have advantages in three aspects as they focus on current culture, cultural implications and the ease of teaching and learning. These advantages indicate the usefulness of advertisements in value education. Also, the research of Hofstede (2010), Kang (2007), and Kim et al. (2011) provide discussion regarding educational contents. Subsequently, the criteria for selecting advertisements are further developed as the main purpose of this study. The criterion are to consider the objectives of culture education, to take into account the learning situation, to find relevance between the contents of the advertisement and the contents for the value system education, and consider expressive methods of advertisements and extensibility to the activities. Next, advertisements were selected for core educational items and the list of 22 is presented according to the value system, educational contents and the criterion of the advertisements discussed in the above.
