  • 저시력 장애인은 선천적 혹은 후천적인 안질환으로 인한 의학적 안광학적 방법으로 개선이 불가능한 시력 장애 및 시기능 장애를 말한다. 저시력 장애인은 전 세계에 2억 4000만 명에 해당할 만큼 많은 비율을 차지하고 있으며 잔존시력이 있음에도 불과하고 스마트 시대에 정보 취약 계층에 속하고 있다. 기존 스크린리더(TTS) 및 화면확대 기능을 통해 정보접근이 가능한 환경에서 저시력 장애인을 위한 모바일 웹 환경에서의 UI/UX에 대한 연구를 통해 저시력 장애인의 정보 접근성 향상 및 향후 연구 방안에 대해서 논하고자 한다.

사출성형 자동차부품의 외관 비전검사 방법 (Exterior Vision Inspection Method of Injection Molding Automotive Parts)

  • 본 논문에서는 사출성형 자동차부품의 외관 품질과 생산성을 높이기 위하여 사출성형 자동차부품의 외관 비전검사 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 기존 사출성형 자동차부품의 외관검사는 사람에 의한 매뉴얼 샘플링 검사로 진행된다. 먼저 전자부품(TFT-LCD 및 PCB 등) 비전검사에 활용되는 Edge-Tolerance 비전검사 알고리즘([1]-[4])을 사출성형 부품 외관검사에 적용하고, 그 문제점을 파악하였다. 그리고 그 문제점을 극복하는 새로운 외관 비전검사 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 외관비전검사는 양품 기준영상을 기준으로 검사하고자 하는 부품의 검사영상을 정렬한 후, 부분적인 적응적 이진화 후, 이진블록매칭 알고리즘을 이용하여 양품 이진영상과 검사이진영상을 블록단위로 비교함으로써 불량부분을 검출한다. Edge-Tolerance 비전검사 알고리즘과 제안된 외관비전검사 방법을 실제 개발된 장비를 이용하여 다양한 비교 실험을 통하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다.

Comparative Study of Corner and Feature Extractors for Real-Time Object Recognition in Image Processing

  • Corner detection and feature extraction are essential aspects of computer vision problems such as object recognition and tracking. Feature detectors such as Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) yields high quality features but computationally intensive for use in real-time applications. The Features from Accelerated Segment Test (FAST) detector provides faster feature computation by extracting only corner information in recognising an object. In this paper we have analyzed the efficient object detection algorithms with respect to efficiency, quality and robustness by comparing characteristics of image detectors for corner detector and feature extractors. The simulated result shows that compared to conventional SIFT algorithm, the object recognition system based on the FAST corner detector yields increased speed and low performance degradation. The average time to find keypoints in SIFT method is about 0.116 seconds for extracting 2169 keypoints. Similarly the average time to find corner points was 0.651 seconds for detecting 1714 keypoints in FAST methods at threshold 30. Thus the FAST method detects corner points faster with better quality images for object recognition.

도서관의 대내외적 환경변화와 HRD 트렌드 분석을 통한 사서교육훈련 비전 및 추진전략 제안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Library's Internal and External Environment Change and the Librarian Education and Training Vision and Promotion Strategy Proposal through HRD Trend)

  • 본 연구에서는 사서교육훈련의 중장기적 발전방안을 마련하기 위해 도서관 대내외적 환경변화와 인적자원개발(HRD) 트렌드를 반영한 사서교육훈련의 비전 및 목표를 설계하고자 하였다. 사서교육훈련의 비전 및 목표 설계를 위해 사서교육훈련 필요성, 목표, 사명, 역할 등의 재정립, 사서교육훈련의 비전과 목표 실현을 위한 추진전략 모색 도서관 미래 인재 양성을 위한 핵심역량 및 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 기반 교육운영 가이드라인 개발을 위한 세부추진계획 등을 마련하였다. 먼저, 국내외 선행연구 및 문헌을 분석하였을 때, 미래 사서는 첫째, 창의융합형 인재, 둘째, 소통협력형 인재, 셋째, 선도전문형 인재, 넷째, 공감포용형 인재 등이 포괄된 역량을 갖춘 인재상을 기반으로 교육훈련을 수립해야 할 것으로 파악되었다. 도서관 미래 인재상 및 핵심역량에 따른 교육과정은 다음과 같은 프로세스 모형으로 제시하여야 하며, 창의융합형 인재, 소통협력형 인재, 선도전문형 인재, 공감포용형 인재상별 사서역량을 도출하고, 사서역량에 따른 직무능력을 설정하여 직무능력 향상을 위한 교육과정을 설계하는 방향으로 교육 방향을 설정해야 할 것으로 파악하였다.

  • We discuss the paper by Cho, Shin, Lee, and Han on the "information-relate" undergraduate statistics major program from the following perspectives: Recently, Korean universities are under re-structuring turmoil. To effectively confront the situation, we need both the vision and the strategy for statistics and statistics departments. For undergraduate statistics major program, our visions are 1) it should not be preliminary education program targeted for the graduate degrees, 2) it should be responsive to future social demand, and 3) it should incorporate the progressive identity of statistics as information and data science. As strategies, we propose 1) the effective integration and due balance among data collection, management and analysis, 2) the harmony and role development of computers and mathematics as statistical tools, 3) the statistics education through task-oriented problem solving, and 4) the emphasis of team work and communication skills.on skills.

운동 피로와 시각정보 차단이 직립서기 자세제어에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Exercise-Induced Fatigue and Blocked Vision on Postural Control during Upright Stance)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of exercise-induced fatigue and blocked vision on postural control during upright stance in elderly women. The study population included 22 women who were aged over 65 years, had no sustained orthopedic damage within the last 6 months, and had been randomly recruited. The results were analyzed with respect to the mediolateral and anteroposterior factors for the center of pressure. The exercise-induced fatigue and the absence of visual information increased the anteroposterior and mediolateral velocity for center of pressure. This means that the elderly women could control their posture through many sways. In conclusion, the exercise-induced fatigue and the blocked vision decreased ability of the postural control in elderly women. Further research on the change of postural control in relation to the types of exercise-induced fatigue and the levels of muscular fatigue is expected.

대학생의 진로교육을 위한 웹기반 사이버강의 콘텐츠 개발 및 효과검증 (The Study on Development and Effectiveness of Web-based Cyber Class Contents for University Student's Career Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop cyber class contents on website and to verify the effectiveness of the program to reinforce a career education. The participants of the experiment in this study are from Namseoul University who took the cyber class 'Self management and creation of vision.' of the second semester in 2015. They took the class fifty-sixty minutes a week. The control group also includes the students who took the classes 'Theory and practice of school violence prevention' and 'Youth Education theory.' To verify the effectiveness of career education, the data processing in performing this study utilized t-test for homogeneity with the effective variable of career identity and career decision and the result was proved by using paired t-test. The result suggests that the experiment group significantly shows improvement compared with the control group in the view of career identity and career decision level. Therefore we recognize that the web based cyber course has its effect on content development and career education and we anticipate the continuous development and activation of effective cyber education on website for university students in future.

A Study on the Oral Health Literacy and Related Factors of Mother's in Some Areas: A 25% Comparison Study of the Upper and Lower Grades

  • Background: This study compares and analyzes the degree of oral health information literacy by 25% for upper and lower grades to assess how differences in mothers' oral health information literacy affect infants' oral health behavior. Methods: The study surveyed 201 mothers with infants and children using a 36 question survey tool. Cross-analysis was conducted to determine the difference in oral health information literacy between the upper and the lower 25%. Results: Comparing 25% of the upper and lower grades of verbal oral health information literacy scores, the word with the most significant difference in the correct answer was resin. An item asking about the time to eat after fluoride varnish application showed the most significant difference in the correct answer on the functional oral health information literacy scale. Mothers' oral and functional oral health information literacy scores showed that verbal literacy was statistically significant for brushing guidance after children's meals, brushing guidance before children's bedtime, food intake restrictions before bedtime, and restrictions on consumption of cavity-inducing foods (p<0.05). Functional literacy was statistically significant in the post-brushing test of children and the correct brushing method map items (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result of comparing and analyzing the upper and lower 25% of the mother's oral health information literacy, it was found that the mother's oral health information literacy affected the infant's oral health behavior. Therefore, systematic education is needed to raise literacy by grasping the level of oral health information literacy of mothers, and oral health education by level according to oral health information literacy should be developed.

COVD-QOL을 사용하여 평가한 눈이상이 초등학교 어린이의 학업수행능력에 미치는 영향 (Correlation between Visual Symptoms and the Academic Performance as Assessed by COVD-QOL Questionnaire in Primary School Children)

  • Objectives: Since 80% of the information we get from the environment comes in through our eyes (Anshel JR, 1999), uncorrected visual problems negatively affect children's educational process and perceptual development. The objectives of this study were: 1st, to document the prevalence of learning related vision problem in primary school children. 2nd, to compare responses of children with those of parents on visual symptoms. Lastly, to determine if there is an association between visual symptoms and academic performance. Methods: We administered visual-symptom quality of life questionnaire developed by Oklahoma College of Optometry in Vision Development to 1031 primary school children and their parent. Visual symptoms responded by children and their parents were compared using Independent Sample t-test and the relation between visual symptoms and academic performance were calculated using Pearson Correlation tests. Results and Conclusions: The number of children who need further professional evaluation, that is visual-symptom scores were ${\geq}20$, reported by children(25%) was greater than that reported by parents(16%). And visual-symptom scores reported by children were significantly higher than those reported by parents in every grade(p<0.01, p<0.001). Visual symptoms reported by both children and parents were found to be inversely correlated to academic performance in every academic area and most of their correlations were statistically significant(p<0.05). Therefore, children with more visual-symptom reported by both group had negative effects on children's academic performance.
