Usually, students write on a paper using writing materials and submit it to teachers when they do a homework or take an exam. However, there are temporal and spacial constraints because teachers and students should be in the same place at the time in this system. In addition, it is hard for teachers to maintain numerous papers from students. Applying a digital pen produced by Pen Generations Corporation to education system, we developed a smart education system transmitting image data from written papers using digital pen. As a result, teachers and students can use this system without any constraints. In addition, teachers are able to maintain their papers from students more effectively.

The teaching and learning environment in medical schools is significantly different from that of other academic fields. An educational information system specifically designed for medical education could be an important solution for the unique context of medical education. In this study, the concept of the educational information system has been reviewed, and how such a system can be utilized effectively for medical education has also been explored. This paper also addresses how learning management systems for online learning could be made more effective through educational information systems. The application of flipped learning, which has been developing rapidly to improve teaching and learning, for medical education was also investigated. In conclusion, it was found that educational information systems could be a solution to various teaching and learning issues in medical schools. In particular, given that high performing students tend to enter medical schools, using educational information systems to improve the teaching and learning environment in medical school should be investigated further.

We research a system of compressed-sensing computational ghost imaging (CSCGI) based on the intensity fluctuation brought by turbulence. In this system, we used the gamma-gamma intensity-fluctuation model, which is commonly used in transmission systems, to simulate the CSCGI system. By setting proper values of the parameters such as transmission distance, refractive-index structure parameter, and sampling rates, the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) performance and bit-error rate (BER) performance are obtained to evaluate the imaging quality, which provides a theoretical model to further research the ghost-imaging algorithm.

The Purpose of this study was to develop a data base system for the information on science education research and development. As a part of this study, an analysis of papers on science education included in five selected jounals related science education was done by the use of the authors classification system for the research and development materials of science education. A total of 640 papers from the first issues to the 1991 issues of the journals were classified and analyzed. The selected five journals were Journal of the Korean Association for Research in Science Education (published by The Korean Association for Research in Science Education, 148 papers), Teaching Physics(published by Korean Physical Society, 164papers), Chemical Education (published by The Korean Chemical Socity, 98 papers), The Korean Journal of Biological Education(published by The Korean Society of Biological Education, 148papers), and Journal of Science Education (published by Science Education Center.College of Education, Seoul National University, 82 papers).

Under the purposes, this study especially focused on the condition of on-line educational service system and the merits as well as problems of the system, the need for household financial planning for children's education, and the condition or nature of internet financial planning system, in terms of providing market information and of suggesting policy implications.

This study aims to suggest a evaluation methodology of cyber-education. In spite of rapid development of information technology for cyber-education, there are few research of evaluation methodology in cyber-education environment, we suggest a definition of criteria and a methodology of system solution selection for cyber-education system. Considering an interdependent relationship among criteria, we shows a process of an evaluation method or a selection method for evaluation of cyber-education system solution through an example.

With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools' organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

While welcoming the distributing of the powers of the Ministry of Education, which is currently being promoted, to the city and provincial offices of education, I am very concerned that this will expand and amplify the powers concentrated in one central institution to 17 local institutions closer to the field. Until now, the Ministry of Education and the Office of Education have served as co-cause providers as important reasons for hindering school education. The transfer of the authority of the Ministry of Education is highly likely to be deformed as soon as it results in the quantitative reduction of the functions and roles of the existing Ministry of Education and the quantitative expansion of the roles and functions of the city and provincial offices of education. In the reality that no legal device for school autonomy has been established, it is highly likely that emphasizing the principle of school autonomy in our educational climate, which is deeply rooted in the vertical bureaucratic administrative culture, will end with a simple measure or stop at the level of imitation. Therefore, a more stable device is needed to check the authority of the city and provincial office of education and the superintendent of education to take over the authority of the Ministry of Education. This is also a system that is still required even when school autonomy becomes legal. Therefore, it is necessary to revitalize the independent education committee, establish a local education committee in the city and province education office, and activate the resident participation system (resident proposal system, resident voting system, resident litigation system, resident audit request system).

The purpose This study was conducted to explore the procedures and plans to establish a university-based lifelong education support system for the individuals with disabilities at Chosun University. The research method consisted of expert consultation. Chosun University not only has various units of major(department) that can deepen and integrate knowledge and technology related to lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities, but also has various leadership and various infrastructures that can lead the practice of lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities in Gwangju and Jeonnam areas. The contents of this study were presented five procedures and plans such as the establishment of maintenance and convergence of majors (departments) units, the development and operation of department-led regional-linked education programs through extracurricular education, the introduction of majors in connection with extracurricular education program-linked courses, the selection of core departments, the establishment of cooperative courses between university and graduate schools, and the establishment and operation of lifelong education programs for the individuals with disabilities centered on lifelong education centers. As a result of the study, it was analyzed that the academic foundation of lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities, the guarantee of educational opportunities for the individuals with disabilities, and the lead of linkage between local related organizations can be expected through the establishment of the support system for lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities at Chosun University.

This paper summarizes an education and training system for the auto-reclosing of power transmission system using a real time digital simulator. The system is developed to understand the principle of reclosing and the sequence of automatic reclosing schemes, and practice the effects of reclosing actions to power system in real-time simulator. This study is concentrated into the following two parts. One is the development of real time education and training system of automatic reclosing schemes. For this, we use the RTDS(real time digital simulator) and the actual digital protective relay. The mathematical relay model of RTDS and the actual distance relay which is equipped automatic reclosing function are also used. The other is the user friendly interface between trainee and trainer. The various interface displays are used for user handing and result display. The conditions of automatic reclosing which is a number of reclosing, reclosing dead time, reset time, and so on, can be changed by the user interface panel. A number of scenario cases are reserved for the education and training. Through the test, we verified that the proposed system can be effectively used to accomplish the education and training of automatic reclosing.
