고등학생의 지속가능한 식생활 역량 향상을 위한 가정과 식생활교육 프로그램의 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Home Economics Dietary Education Programs for Improving the Sustainable Dietary Competencies of High School Students)

  • This study aimed to develop, and evaluate the effectiveness of, a home economics dietary education program that could be used to improve high school students' sustainable dietary competencies. To achieve this goal, learning objectives and elements were selected for the education program to improve the students' sustainable dietary competency. The content validity of this program was verified with numerous experts. After implementing the new educational program, its effect on high school students' sustainable dietary competencies was assessed through pre- and post-tests. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, through the textbook analysis, the necessity of developing an educational program that can cultivate the three areas that constitute a sustainable diet (environment, health, and consideration) was confirmed. Second, a total of nine teaching and learning plans for sustainable dietary education programs were developed. From there, content validity verification was conducted by experts, indicating that the developed educational program was highly applicable in the field. Third, after the implementation, a survey was conducted based on a questionnaire consisting of 20 items related to three areas of sustainable diet, while the pre- and post-test assessment indicated statistically significant differences in all three areas: environment (pre: 3.40, post: 4.46, p<.001), health (pre: 3.15, post: 4.32, p<.001), and consideration (pre: 3.46, post: 4.48, p<.001). It is expected that the educational program developed in this study will be used as a basis for dietary education that fosters food citizenship in high school home economics courses.

인터넷상의 성교육 사이트 평가기준의 적용 (Application of Evaluation Criteria for Web sites to Sexuality Education)

  • Web sites on the internet are excellent resources for the younger generation to gain information related to sexuality education. The potential benefits of the information of sexuality education on web sites are obvious. But the information of sexuality education on web sites could also result in potentially negative effects. Yet the quality of the information of sexuality education on web sites is variable and difficult to assess. There is no rating criteria for quality assessment of the information on web sites. The rating criteria for quality assessment of information of sexuality education were investigated and reviewed. Among the criteria, best 15 items to evaluate the information of sexuality education on web sites were selected and identified in this study. 15 items were categorized to reliability ( 3 items ), content ( 6 items ), goal ( 2 items ), design & technology ( 4 items ). This 15-items questionnaires is considered as commonly implementable criteria for the information of sexuality education on web sites in Korean. 20 web sites related to sexualtiy education were evaluated and the results were discussed.

  • It is provided that the seaman should be educated and trained by basic fire-fighting to save the life and protect asset at sea by the STCW(The International Convention on Standard for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping). The designated seaman's safety educational institution which is specified in the nation has held a basic and advanced fire-fighting education for the seaman. The interest of safety at sea has been increasing due to recent huge maritime disaster and there is a tendency to strengthen the safety education for the seaman in the nation. For the effective fire-fighting education for the seaman, the appropriate educational content and facilities are required. Moreover, It is necessary to apply an effective education and training methods for achieving the goal. Unfortunately, this paper has not perfectly been conducted to improve effective safety training in the designated educational institutions which held the seaman's maritime safety educations. From now on, we should consider the effective educational ways for the seaman. The purpose of this paper is to develop the education and training model of STCW seaman's fire-fighting education through the reviewing the status of safety education in the nation.

Posner 이론을 적용한 여성건강간호학 교육과정 분석 (Women's Health Nursing Curriculum Analysis using Posner's Theory in Korean Nursing Baccalaureate Education)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the women's health nursing curriculum in Korean nursing baccalaureate education. Methods: This study was conducted with women's health nursing curriculum from one nursing school. Data were collected through one nursing school in A city, Korea from November to December, 2014. Data were analyzed using 4 domain of Posner's curriculum analysis. Results: Curriculum documentation and origins were based on the nursing standard from Korean Accreditation Nursing Board Education and the learning goal of maternal nursing from Korean Nursing Association. The purpose and content of the curriculum were composed with cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The curriculum was organized deductively and multidisciplinary. Conclusion: The continuity, sequence, integration, and articulation were advantage of the curriculum. The concept map of women's health nursing curriculum can contribute to share the objectives between teachers and learners.

일본 중등학교 가정교과서 주생활영역의 교육내용 분석 (Content Analyses of Housing Unit of Secondary School Home Economics Textbooks in Japan)

  • 본 연구는 일본 중등학교 가정 교과서 주생활영역 교육내용 분석을 통하여 우리의 가정 교과서 주생활영역 집필, 내용 수시보완 및 교육내용 재구성 시의 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 분석대상은 현재 사용되는 2009년판 중학교의 '기술 가정' 교과서 '가정분야' 2종과 고등학교의 '가정총합' 6종이며, 분석내용은 외형체제, 본문내용, 용어해설, 읽기자료, 표자료 및 활동자료의 내용이었다. 연구결과의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주생활영역의 교육내용을 학교급의 증가에 따라 학습의 연계성을 갖고 계통성 있게 심화할 수 있도록 구성하면, 주생활영역의 학습목표를 학생들에게 명확하게 구현할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 앞으로 개정되는 중등학교 교육과정과 가정교과서의 주생활영역은 학년별, 학교급별로 교육내용의 연계성을 갖도록 구성한다. 아울러 2009년 교육과정에 제시된 한 시점에 집중이수하는 방식은 교육효과가 낮을 것이므로 교육과정의 검토가 요망된다. 둘째, 주생활영역의 교육내용 구성 시 관점은 생활의 주체인 개인이나 가족을 중심으로 주거환경, 근접환경, 광역환경 차원을 반영하여 학습자가 자신과 사회와의 관계를 중시하고, 지구환경을 생각하며, 전통문화를 계승 발전시킬 수 있도록 구성한다. 셋째, 주생활영역의 교육내용 구성 시 수준은 학교급별 이해수준을 감안하여 이해도가 낮은 중학교에는 실험이나 실습과 같은 체험활동을 포함하고, 고등학교에는 스스로 문제를 연구하고 실생활에 적용하며 실천할 수 있도록 구성한다.

치위생(학)과 학생을 위한 치위생윤리 교과목 콘텐츠 개발에 대한 연구 (Development of contents for dental hygiene ethics subjects for dental hygiene students)

  • Background: This study aimed to create and present content that can be used in the dental hygiene ethics process to help dental hygiene students develop desirable work ethics and ethical values. Methods: In order to operate the dental hygiene ethics course in all academic systems, one three-year dental hygiene professor and one four-year dental hygiene professor participated in setting core competencies and learning goals for the dental hygiene ethics course. The class consisted of two credits, two hours of theoretical classes, and class activity sheets developed according to the learning contents and learning topics for each week that can be operated for 15 weeks. Results: The contents of the dental hygiene ethics subject were developed to be conducted as theoretical education and case-oriented discussion classes. The 15-week class consisted of a theory lecture on dental hygiene work ethics (eight weeks), discussions and presentations for ethical decisions based on actual cases related to dental hygiene ethics (four weeks), and the design and presentation of individual professional mission statements and codes of conduct (three weeks). The class data for each week consisted of four stages: "Learning goal-thinking," "open-thinking," "learning content-thinking," and "according to learning goal." Conclusions: In order to establish desirable workplace ethics and ethical values for dental hygiene students, it is necessary to approach education in a way that values understanding and application of dental hygiene practices, legal and ethical standards, ethical decision-making models, and ethical principles.

한국 2009 개정 초등 과학과 교육과정과 미국 초등 과학과 교육과정 비교분석 - 3~4학년군 지구와 우주영역을 중심으로 - (A Comparative Study of Elementary Science Curriculum between Korea and USA - Focusing on Earth and Space Domain of Third and Fourth Grades -)

  • The purpose of this paper was to analyze the characteristics of Korean science curriculum and the differences with the other country. For this purpose, the USA was selected as the target country for comparison. The comparison focused on goals and contents in science curriculum document. The goals for science education in both countries were similar. But the goal setting level was different. Also, four objectives were suggested in Korean curriculum and nine objectives in the USA to achieve the general objective. Korean curriculum was composed of such grades system as 3rd & 4th grades, 5th & 6th grades and content area as 'materials and energy', 'life and the earth' in content system. And the USA composed in the such grade system as K, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Also the elements to be learned is suggested in the strand. And in the area of the earth and space in the Korean Curriculum, there are elements emphasized in the content area, cognitive area, context category and practical activities learning objective category. But the USA covered most of those elements evenly. Korean curriculum focused on learning of certain elements in certain grades, but the USA curriculum is to learn several elements evenly in every grade. It will be future topics of research to investigate the effect of curriculum with different emphasis of improving students' scientific knowledge and learning through further study.

비전공자를 위한 알고리즘씽킹 기반 소프트웨어 기초교육 설계 (Design of Algorithm Thinking-Based Software Basic Education for Nonmajors)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design the curriculum of Basic College Software Programming to develop creative and logical-thinking. This course is guided by algorithmic thinking and logical thinking that can be solved by computing for problem-solving, and it helps to develop by software through basic programming education. Through the stage of problem analysis, abstraction, algorithm, data structure, and algorithm implementation, the curriculum is designed to help learners experience algorithm problem-solving in various areas to develop diffusion thinking. For Learners aim to achieve the balanced development of divergent and convergent-thinking needed in their creative problem-solving skills. Research design, data and methodology: This study is to design a basic software education for improving algorithm-thinking for non-major. The curriculum designed in this paper is necessary to non-majors students who have completed the 'Creative Thinking and Coding Course' Design Thinking based are targeted. For this, contents were extracted through advanced research analysis at home and abroad, and experts in computer education, computer engineering, SW education, and education were surveyed in the form of quasi-openness. Results: In this study, based on ADD Thinking's algorithm thinking, we divided the unit college majors into five groups so that students of each major could accomplish the goal of "the ability to internalize their own ideas into computing," and extracted and designed different content areas, content elements and sub-components from each group. Through three expert surveys, we established a strategy for characterization by demand analysis and major/textbook category and verified the appropriateness of the design direction to ensure that the subjects and contents of the curriculum are appropriate for each family in order to improve algorithm-thinking. Conclusions: This study helps develop software by enhancing the ability of students who practice various subjects and exercises to explore creative expressions in various areas, such as 'how to think like a computer' that can implement and execute their ideas in computing. And it helps increase the ability to think logical and algorithmic computing based on creative solutions, improving problem-solving ability based on computing thinking and fundamental understanding of computer coding and development of logical thinking ability through programming.

사회복지교육과 ICT(Information and Communication Technology) 활용: 콘텐츠분석 (Social Welfare Education and ICT(Information and Communication Technology) Utilization: Contents Analysis )

  • 본 연구는 'ICT를 활용한 구체적 사회복지교육은 무엇이며, 이러한 교육은 교육적 효과성이 증명되었는가?'를 검증하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 DBPIA, Kiss, EBSCO를 기반으로 사회복지교육, social work education, ICT, computer simulation, virtual reality or augmented reality 등의 키워드로 2016년 1월부터 2022년 7월까지의 논문을 검색하였다. 국내 database에서는 관련논문이 검색되지 않았으나 EBSCO를 통해 총 75편의 논문이 검색되었다. 이를 3가지 기준을 통해 선별하여 총 13편의 논문이 본 연구분석에 활용되었다. 이렇게 선별된 논문을 다음의 9가지 기준으로 내용분석하였다: 연구국가, 교육대상(학부/대학원생 등), 교육목표, 교육내용, 적용된 교육이론, 교과목명 또는 유형(교과/비교과형태), 평가방법, 평가결과와 활용된 소프트웨어나 관련기기. 연구 분석결과, VR, Second Life, PeopleSIM, 자체개발 앱 등을 통해 사회복지교육을 진행하였고 대부분의 연구에서 몰입감, 학생 만족도, 지식향상 등의 효과성이 증명되었다. 이를 바탕으로 국내에 거의 전무한 사회복지교육에서 ICT의 활용 가능성에 대한 대안을 제시하였다.

전통식품 기호증진을 위한 초등학생용 미각교육교재 및 지도서 개발 (Development of a Sensory Education Textbook and Teaching Guidebook for Preference Improvement toward Traditional Korean Foods in Schoolchildren)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a textbook and teaching guidebook on sensory education for lower grade students at elementary schools. The goal of sensory education was to improve preferences for traditional Korean foods. An advisory committee was organized that was composed of 8 professionals in the education field, in order to discuss the adequacy and validity of the textbook's content. The textbook's units consisted of three parts composed of the following: 'feel by the five senses' (2 lessons), 'enjoying traditional Korean foods' (9 lessons), and 'eating together' (1 lesson). The lesson activities were based on experiential learning. The teacher's guidebook contained an overview of the education process, with specific information and practical guidelines for each lesson. Ninety-seven children in 3rd grade from one school participated in a pilot lesson, which evaluated the educational effects and satisfaction. After the lesson, the children had improved preferences for foods which were taught about in the class, along with better eating attitudes. These results reflect that the developed materials were suitable for improving children's preferences toward traditional Korean foods.
