Ammonia Removal Characteristics by Pyroligneous Liquid at Livestock Farmhouse (축산농가에서 목초액을 이용한 암모니아 가스의 제거 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to obtain the optimal ammonia removal efficiency using pyroligenous liquid for the economical and environment-friendly odor removal at a petty livestock farmhouse. The ammonia removal efficiencies were evaluated due to changing dilution rates(${\times}$10, ${\times}$20, ${\times}$30, ${\times}$50 and ${\times}$100 times) and different spray amounts(10$m\ell$ and 20$m\ell$) of pyroligenous liquid. The wet scrubber device was used to remove odor in closed-type livestock farmhouse. According to dilution rate of the pyroligenous liquid, the optimum rate was 20 times and the removal efficiency increased by decreasing dilution rates. In the case of spray amounts with the optimum dilution, the amount was 20 me and the removal efficiency increased by increasing spray amount. Also, the removal efficiency by using wet deodorizing device was 83.0-97.0% with 20 times diluted liquid.

  • This paper presents the introduction plan of the renewable energy in innovation city. The introduction plan to make the condition of innovation city best should consider the economical efficiency, the quality of life and the sustainable development. The design of balanced city is demanded to build environment friendly and sustainable city. Energy efficient buildings should be designed to deal with the energy efficiency and environment problem. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the energy efficiency and provide the method to introduce the renewable energy system, in various buildings. As a result, the renewable energy plans of each innovation city are suggested and analyzed.

  • The electric propulsion system us closely related with the economical efficiency of ship operation. Fuel efficiency is mainly decided by propulsion system such as diesel engine, propulsion motor and steam turbine. The hybrid propulsion system for fishing boat consists of diesel engine and battery as propulsion power source. This paper is to design battery capacity according to power consumption with ship operation condition, and to test the power consumption of model ship in the circulating water channel. As a result. it can be known that the optimum ship operation condition affects the fuel efficiency.

  • This paper describes Sinusoidal Wave-Variable Voltage Variable Fequency (SW-VVVF) system for the high efficiency drive of a 3-phase induction motor. SW-VVVF system consists of a 3-phase 24-pulse converter and a SPWM inverter. The converter with additional 2 tap diode circuits in interphase reactor reduces harmonics in input current. The SPWM inverter consists of an improved PLL system and a V/F controller, which reduces harmonics in output current and performs a high efficiency algorithm by maintaining a constant slip frequency and compensating for the velocity variation of the induction motor with the change of load. Therefore, this system reduces harmonics in input and output currents, and also can drive an induction motor with high efficiency in an economical way. We have proved its utility through experiment.

  • After 1980's, the progress in quantities of apartments were made by the housing construction expediting policies. But, the qualities of apartments were neglected and the plan of apartments were uniformed by the economical aspects. Apartment unit plans were designed standardized by the reasons of economical efficiency, structural methods and sales. Therefore apartments could not deal effectively with increasing demands for qualities of the residents. Absence of aesthetical values and fixed unit plans on regardless of the residents family compositions and the size of the apartments were occurred. So the new types of the apartment plans are needed to suit the changes and diversities of living. The purpose of this study is to extract the design factors for future apartment by analyzing the unit plans of apartment housings today.

  • The purposes of this paper ensure for the economical efficiency, accuracy, and good applications in domestic site set up the power installations. For the efficient conduct of these purposes, there are measured the partial discharge(PD) used by current probe and compared with detected signal of UV sensor. As the results, PD generated about 35% of breakdown voltage in polymer insulator. UV signal due to high voltage in polymer insulator is detected from about 1.7mV at 30kV to about 3mV at 70kV. Signal detected by ultra-sonic is increased at about 75% of breakdown voltage abruptly. It appears that error range is increased in boundary. UV sensor is needed must use from the practical and economical points of view.

  • Auditorium and gymnasium are utilized in rare cases compared to the large spacial size. From Monday to Saturday, the use of them is extremely rare, which shows the serious example of economical inefficiency of architectural space. To solve these problems, inquiries from the various viewpoints will be necessary. Architecture-philosophically, how can space and time considered sufficiently? How is the structure related to phase. The object of this study is to arrange newly economical efficiency of space and time which are treated slightingly as they mentioned above and the plan about the design of the architectural space and multipurpose room.

  • As a part of efforts to obtain high quality and economical efficiency of concrete, blast-furnace slag has been utilized by means of cement replacement. Therefore superior performance can be ensured, environmental pollution can be prevented and economical advantage can be obtained with utilization by cement replacement. But the studies on the blast-furnace slag are not systematic and reasonable. So, it was planed that basic data in regard to technique of manufacturing and economic improvement of concrete is showed with experimental comparison and investigation of Fluidity and engineering properties of concrete utilizing blast-furnace, industry by-product, as cement replacement in this study.

  • The energy of PV system is different as the elevation and aximuth of the sun. This paper deals with the economical position tracking system development for the stand alone PV system. We have made more economical solar position tracking system which is used a tracking program than other similar systems. It is applied to the solar lighting lamp. We have made a comparative study of the energy amount between the fixed type and the tracking type during some period. The improved efficiency of the system is about 86 %.

A Study on the Optimum Formation of Fleet in Purse Seiner Fishing System (경제성 기준 선망어업의 최적선단 구성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to set up the optimum economical formation of the purse seiner fishing system. For this task, the characteristics of existing purse-seiner fishing system were reviewed, and the possible formations of the fleet in tile purse-seiner fishing system were examined through the reallocation of function for each individual vessel. In addition, economic evaluations of the possible formations of the fleet are carried out. Consequently, it was found that 2-vessel formations have the most economic efficiency. Then, a conceptual system design for the main vessel in the 2-vessel formations was performed. As a result, this paper can be used as a helpful guideline to develop the most profitable and economical fishing system in the fleet type fishery.
