Purpose - This dissertation is based on previous research, and analyzes processing trade, which constitutes a major section of foreign trade in Shandong Province. Research design, data, and methodology - The study uses the survey data on polarization, which is a vital index reflecting the unbalanced growth of regional economic development. The article introduces the processing trade polarization index, and the processing trade polarization fluctuation rate, to predict the geographical polarization posture and development trends in Shandong Province. Results -The development of processing trade in Shandong Province shows the level of gradient from east to west. The first-line growth pole has been formed and developed, and the initial formation of the diffusion mechanism has taken place. However, coordination problems in accompanying regional development have become increasingly prominent. Conclusions - This study focuses on the development of processing trade strategy and suggests overall coordination of development objectives, using non-balanced development goals. According to regional characteristics and development objectives of the processing trade in Shandong Province, the region around the city is divided into innovation diffusion region, enhanced growth areas, areas expected to undertake development, and areas to upgrade in four levels, given the different policy proposals.
This thesis is to explore the relaxation of restrictions at the acquisition of own stock, and to get the results from this system many countries' legislations were alluded as model cases for Korean system. In comparing with America, Japan, Europe(EC 2nd Commercial Law), and England, the final suggestion for Korean companies law as follows: The solution of problems which is derived from the acquisition at own stock in enterprise is to make the optimum situation for the economic development and stability of stock market. So, to solve these problems needs the relaxation of restrictions for this system and by the relaxation of restrictions can get the distribution of its profit to stockholder, and the compensation for employers and employees. Furthermore, through this system the company can achieve the protection against M&A and the supply of company funds. In conclusion the relaxation of restrictions at the acquisition of own stock is acknowledged the necessity, but the problems that would be followed must be necessarily minimized, and to do so, the legal system has to be molded for this purpose and the its procedure(that is, accounting deal of own stock, the fictitious dividend, and non-appliance of tendency control) has to be prior to the legal system.

The article analyzes the possibility of using information and innovation experience in training public administration specialists, and also explores the system of training public administration and management specialists abroad. It was determined that in the European Union, Japan and other developed countries, three concepts of qualified personnel training will be developed: the concept of specialized training is focused on the present or near future and is relevant for the respective workplace; the concept of multidisciplinary training is effective from an economic point of view, as it increases intra-production and non-production mobility of an employee; the concept of learner-centered learning with the aim of developing human qualities.
The Molten Salt Reactor (MSR), one of the six advanced reactor types of the 4th generation nuclear energy systems, has many impressive features including economic advantages, inherent safety and nuclear non-proliferation. This paper introduces a system analysis code named TREND, which is developed and used for the steady and transient simulation of MSRs. The TREND code calculates the distributions of pressure, velocity and temperature of single-phase flows by solving the conservation equations of mass, momentum and energy, along with a fluid state equation. Heat structures coupled with the fluid dynamics model is sufficient to meet the demands of modeling MSR system-level thermal-hydraulics. The core power is based on the point reactor neutron kinetics model calculated by the typical Runge-Kutta method. An incremental PID controller is inserted to adjust the operation behaviors. The verification and validation of the TREND code have been carried out in two aspects: detailed code-to-code comparison with established thermal-hydraulic system codes such as RELAP5, and validation with the experimental data from MSRE and the CIET facility (the University of California, Berkeley's Compact Integral Effects Test facility). The results indicate that TREND can be used in analyzing the transient behaviors of MSRs and will be improved by validating with more experimental results with the support of SINAP.
A Smart factories are systems that enable quick response to customer demands, reduce defect rates, and maximize productivity. They have evolved from manual labor-intensive processes to automation and now to cyber-physical systems with the help of information and communication technology. However, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are still unable to implement even the initial stages of smart factories due to various environmental and economic constraints. Additionally, there is a lack of awareness and understanding of the concept of smart factories. To address this issue, the Cooperation-based Smart Factory Construction Support Project was launched. This project is a differentiated support project that provides customized programs based on the size and level of the company. Research has been conducted to analyze the impact of this project on participating and non-participating companies. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the support policy and suggest efficient measures for improvement. Furthermore, the research aims to provide direction for future support projects to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness of SMEs. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the overall manufacturing industry and drive innovation.
Korean firms of all sizes, from virtually every industry, have used and are using the term "excessive competition" to describe the state of their industry and to call for government interventions. Moreover, the Korean government has frequently responded to such calls in various ways favorable to the firms, such as controlling entry, curbing capacity investments, or allowing collusion. Despite such interventions' impact on the overall efficiency on the Korean economy as well as on the wealth distribution among diverse groups of economic agents, the term "excessive competition", the basis for the interventions, has so far escaped rigorous scrutiny. The objective of this paper is to clarify the notion of "excessive competition" and "over-investment" which usually accompanies "excessive competition", and to examine the circumstances under which they might occur. We first survey the cases where the terms are most widely used and proceed to examine those cases to determine if competition is indeed excessive, and if so, what causes "excessive competition". Our main concern deals with the case in which the firms must make investment decisions that involve large sunk costs while facing uncertain demand. In order to analyze this case, we developed a two period model of capacity precommitment and the ensuing competition. In the first period, oligopolistic firms make capacity investments that are irreversible. Demand is uncertain in period 1 and only the distribution is known. Thus, firms must make investment decisions under uncertainty. In the second period, demand is realized, and the firms compete with quantity under realized demand and capacity constraints. In the above setting, we find that there is "no over-investment," en ante, and there is "no excessive competition," ex post. As measured by the information available in period 1, expected return from investment of a firm is non-negative, overall industry capacity does not exceed the socially optimal level, and competition in the second period yields an outcome that gives each operating firm a non-negative second period profit. Thus, neither "excessive competition" nor "over-investment" is possible. This result will generally hold true if there is no externality and if the industry is not a natural monopoly. We also extend this result by examining a model in which the government is an active participant in the game with a well defined preference. Analysis of this model shows that over-investment arises if the government cannot credibly precommit itself to non-intervention when ex post idle capacity occurs, due to socio-political reasons. Firms invest in capacities that exceed socially optimal levels in this case because they correctly expect that the government will find it optimal for itself to intervene once over-investment and ensuing financial problems for the firms occur. Such planned over-investment and ensuing government intervention are the generic problems under the current system. These problems are expected to be repeated in many industries in years to come, causing a significant loss of welfare in the long run. As a remedy to this problem, we recommend a non-intervention policy by the government which creates and utilizes uncertainty. Based upon an argument which is essentially the same as that of Kreps and Wilson in the context of a chain-store game, we show that maintaining a consistent non-intervention policy will deter a planned over-investment by firms in the long run. We believe that the results obtained in this paper has a direct bearing on the public policies relating to many industries including the petrochemical industry that is currently in the center of heated debates.
Since the 1980s the development of American art furniture was embodied its concept by second-generation furniture artists affected and educated from the first generation that has implanted art furniture fundamental values. Besides, embracing inevitably needs of the new era going with the social change rather than dwell on the nature of mere handicraft era, it has evolved with economic revival in the United States, the attention and increased consumption of the public, and ongoing government-sponsored. And more recently, the American contemporary Art Furniture faces another change in the non-boundary phenomena between art and design. American art furniture since the 1980s are summarized as three major trends: Art furniture embellished with traditional hand-craft, Art furniture featured the individualistic avant-guard characteristic, Art furniture eroded the distinction between art and design. By analyzing focusing on the furniture artists and their works in contemporary art furniture deployment aspects since the 1980s, the purpose of this study can be utilized as a method to measure the forward direction, internationally competitive, creativity, and artistic value of the domestic art furniture.

As cities face increasing problems such as aging, environmental pollution and growth limits, we have been trying to incorporate sustainability into urban planning and related policies. However, it is very difficult to generate a 'sustainable spatial plans' because there are trade-offs among environmental, society, and economic values. This is a kind of non-linear problem, and has limitations to be solved by existing qualitative expert knowledge. Many researches from abroad have used the meta heuristic optimization algorithms such as Genetic Algorithms(GAs), Simulated Annealing(SA), Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) and so on to synthesize competing values in spaces. GAs is the most frequently applied theory and have been known to produce 'good-enough plans' in a reasonable time. Therefore we collected the research on 'spatial optimization model based GAs' and analyzed in terms of 'study area', 'optimization objective', 'fitness function', and 'effectiveness/efficiency'. We expect the results of this study can suggest that 'what problems the spatial optimization model can be applied to' and 'linkage possibility with existing planning methodology'.

Taiwan, formerly known as Formosa, located on tropical and subtropical climate zones with abundant biological resources. According to the latest version of the Flora of Taiwan, there are 4339 species of vascular plants including 1054 endemic species. First, Taiwania (Taiwania cryptomerioides), named after its native island of Taiwan, have been isolated more than 500 secondary metabolites, including lignans, terpenoids, steroids, and flavonoids. Several of the metabolites are reported to have antibacterial, antifungal, antimite, antitermite and antitumor activities. In order to investigate plant secondary metabolic diversity toward industrial applications, we established deep transcriptome resources for non-model plants and fungi to produce terpenoid metabolites of economic importance. Second, many plants of Lauraceae have been utilized in folk medicine for their exciting bioactivities. The twigs and leaves from 27 tree species of Lauraceae grown in Taiwan were performed to evaluate potential bioactivity. The leaves of Cinnamomum osmophloeum are traditionally used in folk medicines, and many biological activities have been identified, such as antibacterial, antifungal, antitermite, antidiabetic, antihyperuricemia, antiinflammatory, and antioxidant activities. However, C. osmophloeum has nine chemotypes with various secondary metabolite profiles. In order to efficiently produce active compounds, we established the genetic markers to identify the chemotype plants. Finally, Cinnamomum kanehirae is the host of the medicinal mushroom Antrodia cinnamomea. Several in vivo and in vitro studies indicated that A. cinnamomea possesses a diverse range of biological activities. Because of the potential pharmacological application, we established the transformation system to enhance the triterpenoid contents production.
